**What do you like best about Xero?**

Good interface, easy access for our accountant to see all of our entries (invoicing, expenses, leave, etc) remotely. Integrates well with our business. It makes tax time a lot easier, as well as report generation any time.

**What do you dislike about Xero?**

I'm not a power user, so there is a lot that I don't understand – but that is no fault of the software. No real complaints though, it's good, powerful software.

**What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us manage our whole business (invoicing, expenses, tax, bonuses, employee leave, etc) – our bookkeeper integrates with our accountant seamlessly. I recommend this software to all new startup businesses (we work with a lot).

The bank feeds are very easy to use.  I really like the split feature when a bill 
is part paid

Internal inventory system is not ideal that is why there are so many add on options

**What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can automate alot of bookkeeping and make processing bookkeeping easier too - i like the send bills to email option better than hubdoc

**What do you like best about Xero?**

Xero has a straightforward interface which makes it easy for new users. Moreover, real time financial data helps in collaboration, and making well informed financial decisions. As it is cloud based, I can manage my transactions from anywhere. Reports are also easy to generate.

**What do you dislike about Xero?**

Pricing can be in the higher side for small businesses like us, although it offers a trial. Sometimes, sync issues occur with bank feed , needing manual intervention. Report customization options are limited too. Customer Support is a bit shaky at peak hours.

**What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Xero to manage transactions and invoices for my business. It automatically reconciles transactions, making  the workflow easier. It also gives real time access to our company's administrators, ensuring no detail gets left behind. Xero saves my time and makes the accounting process easier for us. Teamwork is efficient while using Xero.

**What do you like best about Xero?**

The dashboard is quite user-friendly and intuitive. Reconciling bank accounts is straightforward, and there is plenty of training material to help you get started. Whenever I encounter an issue, the service provided is excellent. The bank feeds function smoothly, which makes it easy to stay on top of everything.

**What do you dislike about Xero?**

When you log in, the system asks if you want to trust your computer. Even after selecting yes, it continues to prompt you with the same question every time you log in. This makes me wonder why the feature exists if it doesn't actually serve a purpose.

Additionally, the system can be challenging to learn simply because it is so extensive. It would be much more user-friendly if there were clearer instructions provided at each step, rather than having to constantly look up guidance on your own.

**What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This software enables me to prepare BAS statements efficiently, streamlining a process that used to take much longer. It also facilitates communication with the ATO whenever my business needs it. Overall, it has made managing my business operations significantly easier.

**What do you like best about Xero?**

Xero is extremely easy to use even for beginners and the dashboard is very clean and gives a quick overview of our business finances. It offers everything I need to successfully do the accounting with good safety features. Xero has many different functions and capabilities which speed up reconciling and customizable reports. The mobile app is decent for logging my hours when I am waiting for my coffee.

**What do you dislike about Xero?**

I don't have much to dislike about Xero. Only that sometimes I get logged out of Xero once I close the tab.

**What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xero is a great and a game changer true value for your money. I like how it is super easy to use, great customer service that fixes bugs and issues in a timely manner. It is very affordable and the learning curve is much lower than other bookkeeping products.

**What do you like best about Xero?**

I use Xero for our accounting and appreciate having all expense information in one place so everyone can see it, which streamlines reporting. The reporting is clear, easy to read, and offers lots of different formats, which makes it easy to update fields. Additionally, it's great that we can easily edit and amend reports depending on the audience. I find the initial setup very easy too.

**What do you dislike about Xero?**

The AI needs to be improved.

**What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Xero to have all expense claim information in one place, improving efficiency and enabling clear, easy-to-read reporting. The different formats and easy updating make editing reports straightforward.

**What do you like best about Xero?**

Xero is one of my favourite accounting software options. I use it for daily reconciliations and overall financial management. It feels cost-efficient for my needs, with the basic features I require, and the performance is solid compared with other accounting software.

**What do you dislike about Xero?**

There’s no need to dislike it, but the bank reconciliation feature could be improved.

**What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xero has solved many problems for me through its automation features. I’ve now created rules that help a lot and have reduced the amount of manual time I spend on data entry, so I can use my valuable time with clients instead.

**What do you like best about Xero?**

I find Xero pretty easy to use, and I appreciate that the customer service is way better than the competitors out there. It's also very reasonably priced, which is great. Plus, it's accessible by my accountant, so we don't have to exchange charts and graphs back and forth; they can just log in and get what they need. I also like that connecting our various bank accounts has been very easy. The initial setup was fairly easy too, and the customer service is quick and easy, with good help documentation and videos to guide you through.

**What do you dislike about Xero?**

Really, the only problem we had at setup was attaching our bank account, but that has been resolved permanently.

**What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Xero to keep all our expenses, revenue, and banking accounts connected, so everything's in one place. I can upload receipts, track project costs, and organize finances with ease.

Xero is mainly utilized as a tool to keep track of daily financial transactions related to operations. I check the status of invoices, see expense entries, and verify payment updates when working with the finance team. The interface makes it easy to see the status without having to sift through detailed reports.

**What do you dislike about Xero?**

The only difficulty may be in creating very detailed operating breakdowns, particularly when using multiple criteria.

In the past, to get updates on payments, a manual request had to be sent to the finance team. Xero provides basic financial visibility, which speeds up decision-making operations.

For the companies with global operations, Xero’s established and Ultimate plans provide powerful multi-currency support, automatically calculating and tracking foreign exchange gains and losses in real time.

**What do you dislike about Xero?**

Xero typically operates on a month-to-month billing model, offering flexibility but without the common ‘’pay annually and save 20%’’ discount seen with many SaaS platforms. Its multi-currency capabilities, however, support global businesses by enabling transaction in multiple currencies with automatic exchange rate updates.

**What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest advantage is having a true” single source of truth” for labor costs. Payroll data feeds directly into the General Ledger(GL), removing the need for manual journal entries and reducing friction between HR and Finance.

It is fairly intuitive to use, and certainly more so that it's competitors are.

**What do you dislike about Xero?**

I really dislike that singular credit card accounts that have multiple user's each with separate card numbers issued on that same account are treated as separate credit card accounts instead of one credit card account.with multiple user's.

It allows me to to keep my bookkeeping in order and that saves me time.

Xero has lots of features and reports for running accounting tasks and seeing cash flow trends over time. It has connectivity to the most popular payment processors streamlining the process of processing incoming payments and allowing for simpler transaction monitoring. I like that it allows me to take control of all accounts payable and receivable and the accessibility to all my important reports.

**What do you dislike about Xero?**

There is nothing that I could say I like the least about Xero it has been a vital asset to our company for accounting and financial control.

Xero has fulfilled our financial needs by maintaining and reporting on all our business financial activities. Creating invoices and tracking company bank accounts is easy and it provides excellent uncomplicated reports to use for monthly reconciliation and yearly tax documentation.

I like how Xero offers a user-friendly interface that's easy to navigate.Its pricing structure is competitive and since its a cloud-based platform it provides access from anywhere which has been a significant advantage for our organization.Its reporting features  such as sales reports are very useful.Additionally,Xero streamlines tasks like invoicing and payment processing through integrations with Stripe and other merchant services making it easy for clients to pay via credit card.

**What do you like best about Xero?**

It's intuitive, it has helped me turn my mess into organization with complete ease of use, and somehow their emails and whole culture just seems kind of upbeat and exciting.

**What do you dislike about Xero?**

Not being able to create your own categories band codes, at least that I've not seen so far. Not everything fits a smaller creator business.

**What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of income and expenses, creating reports, snapshots etc in real time, vs me waiting and doing a whole year at once which takes days to do.

**What do you like best about Xero?**

It helps me connect with my bank, accountant, bookkeeper, and other business apps. It also has a dashboard/UI that’s easy to access and navigate. Performance has been good too, since it feels fast compared with other software like Xero. Support is accessible and quick to respond when I reach out. The price is affordable as well. The AI is also helpful, especially when I’m not sure what to do next.

**What do you dislike about Xero?**

Nothing. I don't think I found something I dislike in using Xero.

**What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For example, keeping tabs with my accountant and also accessing my financial problems in one app rather than doing it on different softwares.

Xero provides super useful financial management and invoicing tools that allows us to manage our cash flow, send invoices, and its bank reconciliation gives us precise insights about our financial performance and this has been so helpful at ensuring we have a healthy cash flow and a well performing financial ecosystem.

**What do you dislike about Xero?**

There haven’t been any cons even though in the beginning we had to train some employees to adopt the software and it’s been no problem ever since.

The quick and simple process of invoicing, billing and payment processing has simplified the financial management of our business making it possible to expand and grow and the reports makes it easy to have a clear overview of our financial performance.

**What do you like best about Xero?**

As an accounting firm, we truly appreciate when our clients choose to use a solution like Xero. It gives us the ability to access their books and review transactions in real time, complete with copies of invoices attached to each transaction. Additionally, most of our clients who utilize the bank feeds feature eventually mention that it saves them a considerable amount of time in their bookkeeping process.

**What do you dislike about Xero?**

Many of our clients are using an online accounting platform for the first time, so while Xero is easy to learn, it does take an investment in their time. We find that if client give it an honest investment of their time, nearly all will come to a place where they really like the platform.

**What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QuickBooks and the Intuit Suite had become so expensive that many of our clients started looking for alternative accounting solutions and found competing products that genuinely save them money. As accountants, we appreciate that with Xero, their financial records are now more current and comprehensive.

**What do you like best about Xero?**

I like that Xero is cloud-based and very easy to use. You can open Xero from anywhere without needing any specific server, which makes it convenient. Moreover, the process of handling invoices is really efficient, and it's easy, so you can save a lot of time. It integrates well with many banking software, making it a very good tool. Also, the initial setup was easy, you just follow the procedure and get going.

Its payroll function is still not the best in the market. So it can be improved.

I use Xero for bookkeeping for my two businesses. It gives me a full financial picture for my businesses and helps me stay on top of required actions. I really like that it's designed in a modern, easy-to-use way. I love how bank transactions download automatically and are easily matched to create accounting transactions, which saves me lots of time.

There is a lot of clicking. It would be great to have links that allow me to navigate more quickly within the application.

I can create attractive and professional invoices in minutes with Xero and I appreciate that. At the moment we have the Established subscription and I find it very complete and affordable. **What do you like best about Xero?**

When we started DigitalRyze, I didn’t think much about accounting software. It felt like one of those things you figure out later. But once we started using Xero, I realized how much mental space it saves. Sending invoices to clients in the UK or Canada takes just a few clicks now, and it looks clean and professional, no awkward PDFs or messy spreadsheets. What I really appreciate is the way it keeps everything connected. The moment a client pays, it syncs through Stripe, and I can see it reflected in my dashboard almost instantly. There’s a small sense of satisfaction in watching the numbers line up, knowing that I don’t have to dig through my email to confirm payments.

**What do you dislike about Xero?**

There are a few things that still feel a bit stiff. Some of the deeper reports take a while to figure out, and sometimes I end up Googling how to do something that should be obvious. The mobile app is fine for checking numbers or sending a quick invoice, but it’s not great for more detailed work. I wish it matched the desktop version more closely. Small frustrations, but they add up when you’re on the move a lot.

Xero kind of gave us structure without making it feel like we were being boxed in. Before it, I was constantly switching between Excel sheets and WhatsApp messages to track who paid what. Now everything lives in one place, which means I can actually focus on growing the business instead of chasing paperwork. It’s also made it easier to work with clients abroad, no confusion about currencies or due dates, no awkward follow-ups.
It’s funny, but Xero doesn’t feel like “software” to me anymore. It’s just part of how we run things. Quietly in the background, keeping our finances clean so I can keep my head in the creative work. That’s probably the best compliment I can give it.

ackward to setup  

setup should be a simple trial balance upload for clients with a existing business.  This block of bank accounts sucks and is not easy to convert clients.  Instructions are not well thought out and instructions are not straight forward.

Instructions should be from step 1 to completion of setup.  Your instructions for setup are not in order of the steps that you perform to get there.

Your instruction vidoes also do not work in the order that you present them.  At this point I have already been sold on the product, I want to be walked through how to best set-up a company.  Huge fail here.

It may save time for small clients, but for more complex clients, Xero is a fail.

**What do you like best about Xero?**

Interface improving, integration greatly enhanced, all singing/all dancing -- but getting quite bloated and overly complex. 

**What do you dislike about Xero?**

Xero has rapidly increased subscription costs (and reduced capabilities of affordable plans) forcing users into $100+/mo plans. THREE times competitors -- but very much NOT three times better. A balance between profit and user value is greatly needed in my eyes...

**What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Legally required accounting reporting, some automation and integration with EFTPOS suppliers and accounants who insist we use it (otherwise, charge us for it even if we don't).

**What do you like best about Xero?**

I really find Xero to be a wonderful bookkeeping system. It is streamlined and works great for all of our clients. I love the ease of use and the flexibility, allowing it to adapt to many industries. It honestly provides joy in bookkeeping. The reporting feature is fantastic, letting us build easy-to-use reports for clients each month. Additionally, the cash flow forecasting tool is super useful. The initial setup was crazy easy, and Xero integrates well with other tools we use, like Gusto, Syft, and Hubdoc.

**What do you dislike about Xero?**

I don't have any dislikes about Xero.

**What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Xero for streamlined bookkeeping and reporting. It's a beautiful system that works great for all our clients. The ease of use, flexibility, and wonderful reporting, including cash flow forecasting, make bookkeeping enjoyable.

**What do you like best about Xero?**

Xero does an impressive work in financial reporting which helps keep up with our financial health and it is straightforward to setup automated payment reminders to remind clients to make their payments. The process of making invoices is very simple and I like that the reports are really useful to keep track of business costs.

**What do you dislike about Xero?**

The mobile app could use a little more work to allow more fields to get extensive reports and be equivalent to the desktop version.

**What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From simplifying invoice creation to creating accurate financial reports, Xero has made my work as an Accounts Receivables Specialist so easy. I am able to provide the management with the latest relevant financial data so our risk assessments are always based on up-to-date information.

**What do you like best about Xero?**

Xero is the best tool in the market for managing business invoicing, payments and bank reconciliations and gives very clear financial reports of all transactions done. It is easily accessible on any device making it easy to use and has good customer support, at least all the times I have tried to contact them they always reply without delay.

**What do you dislike about Xero?**

For nearly three years now, I have not come across any overwhelming aspect on Xero and I give it a thumbs up for that.

**What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xero helps us speed up all sides of our back office processes whether it is our daily GL accounting or reconciliation at the end of the month. The real-time reports help me accurately track income and expenses for the company.

Xero is excellent at providing an interface that is very clear and smooth for small business owners. It uses terms they are likely to be comfortable with.

Xero doesn't have the breadth of integrations that QBO has, unfortunately. It's a long, slow road.

Xero has been excellent at providing new features and systems to help business owners. We have smooth reporting, bill pay, and upcoming payroll integrations.

**What do you like best about Xero?**

Xero it makes managing my accounts feel simple and straightforward. The support team is also great, they are always available when I need help and take the time to guide me through things step by step. Their explanations are clear and easy to follow, which makes solving any issues so much less stressful. Its a reliable and user friendly tool that makes bookkeeping a lot easier

**What do you dislike about Xero?**

Xero, but one downside is that in the US, it still does not connect directly to a payroll system. Thats been a bit frustrating since it means i have to handle payroll separately. Right now, i am using gusto and really hope that some day xero and gusto can work together it would make things so much smoother.

**What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xero is help it keeps the accounting process. I don't have to spend time watching tutorial videos or buying extra add ons just to figure things out its all very straightforward and easy to use right from the start.
