What I like best about Watermark Faculty Success is that it serves as a centralized hub for faculty activity data. Faculty only need to enter their information once, and the institution can then generate consistent, accurate reports for annual reviews, accreditation, and strategic planning. I also appreciate the flexibility — it can be tailored to reflect our institution’s unique requirements while reducing duplication of effort. Ultimately, it saves faculty and administrators time while improving the quality of data used for compliance and decision-making Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One challenge with Watermark Faculty Success is that faculty sometimes find the system burdensome, especially during the first year of implementation when they’re asked to enter a lot of historical data. The interface also isn’t always intuitive, which can discourage engagement. That said, I’ve found these challenges can be addressed through proactive support — for example, providing clear training sessions, pre-loading available data from other systems, and emphasizing how the tool ultimately reduces duplication for accreditation and annual reviews. When framed as a way to highlight faculty accomplishments rather than just compliance, buy-in improves significantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
