Not able to download the file in PDF, which is from the steps beyond you. For example, when you submit it and it reaches to the step of chair review, the document uploaded by the chair is available to read online but not able to download. Not sure why. The best and most helpful part was first building a strong relationship with our Implementation Team, Project Managers, and Client Success Managers. We all worked together through the entire process from Planning & Set Up, Design and Build, and Validation. Each section was organized and we know in advance the topic we were discussing. The most helpful aspect of Watermark Faculty Success is that it gives the power to faculty members in that it allows them to control their own user profile. Faculty members are able to showcase all of their accomplishments in one space. The input of this information can be used by countless processes on campus including for applying for sponsored projects, promotion and tenure, other evaluative processes. The fact that our institution doesn't have a full integration makes uploading a bit of a task. There is a fair amount of manual upload of data, so entries can be out of date. I like that we save a ton of paper--we used to use at least a ream of paper per faculty member per year on annual review. I like that the paperless format is userfriendly. It took a long time to feel confident with it as a tool--I am an older professor, not as used to working online as newer faculty are. Faculty can easily go in and retrieve current and previous materials. We also have our faculty grade student assignments in the system, so we get to keep a good record. The dat input process was cumbersome and because it was just repeating records hed elsewhere (google scholar, etc.). Our faculty were not incentivized to do this so the product did not work for us. While there are many digital sources for faculty accomplishments and activities, faculty are still the best source of information about their scholarship, teaching, and service activity. However, there is still room to grow! Our current roadmap is focused on more intuitive design, better integrations with publication databases, and ensuring faculty derive value from the system individually. Our university relies on one person to upload Banner data so sometimes our courses aren't loaded and personal information isn't updated automatically.
