It's filled the role we've needed it to with regard to patient communications, reminders, and forms. **What do you dislike about Updox?** Building forms in Updox can be tedious and could have more customization options. It's inconvenient that Updox can't communicate both ways with DrChrono, but I think that's a DrChrono issue. **What problems is Updox solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Updox for patient communications by text and email. Automated reminders for various visit types, of which we have many and general forms, intake forms, product reorder forms, etc. ### 10. I frequently hear from clients that they fax us something and we never received it or they tell me our fax line is busy. The help documents are inaccurate and the photos don't reflect the actual screens that come up. I am very techy and had a difficult time installing drivers; had to get help and even the Updox tech didn't install it correctly and I had to make changes. If I couldn't figure it out then people that are not techy couldn't do it. I've put in 2 help tickets because I got an "Urgent" email because I owed they realized that my auto debit for the monthly payment wasn't working. The current amount owed was almost two years worth of payments and I had never received any notifications that payments were not being made. When I actually investigated it there were payments being made part of that time. So the error was completely on their end. Auto-tagging and using queues makes everything exceptionally streamlined and accessible to the necessary people. **What do you dislike about Updox?** Not able to integrate with all systems but that is not necessarily a drawback as we can use it for other tasks, as well. **Recommendations to others considering Updox:** Get to know the ins and outs. Play with it under a test user and learn all the features. It can be “integrated” with any system when you know how easy it is to use features built in to Updox and tailor it for your business needs. **What problems is Updox solving and how is that benefiting you?** Patient outreach, paperless forms, being able to deliver results in a HIPAA-compliant manner that is auditable.while it doesn’t integrate with everything, because it is web-based, it’s very easy to click here and there to make it work best for you. The ability for patients to access their information conveniently when they need to, contact us, or ask general questions has vastly improved compliance and building better relationships with our patients. I think one of the most overlooked features is the ability to upload signatures and sign documents without ever touching paper. We have almost completely eliminated the need to print, sign and fax documents, patient notes, MTM, etc. ### 37. No "Are you sure you want to delete" button. There are no apps for them to download, all they have to do is "accept" and the visit begins. You have to manually import each visit which is time consuming. **Recommendations to others considering Updox:** Updox is really easy to use. I have done well over 700 visits and still using. Patients like it as they do not need to download anything. Benefits have been I have been able to stay in business and accessible to patients.
