**What do you like best about StoneShot?**

I appreciate StoneShot's built-in support for regulated financial and insurance industries, along with its locked brand templates and precise audience segmentation. The fixed template library is a significant time-saver because it lets me use pre-approved email layouts that include mandatory insurance disclaimers, official logos, and standardized formatting, ensuring compliance. The contact segmentation feature is also highly effective; it allows me to divide stakeholders into groups like IT teams, underwriting staff, and executives, sending detailed information only to those who need it. This helps prevent information overload. Additionally, the simple campaign analytics are beneficial because they let me track email opens and link clicks in real time, which helps in prioritizing follow-up calls. I also value the centralized email archiving because it saves all project updates, testing reminders, and announcements in one place. This is convenient for audits or reviewing communications. Lastly, I find the scheduled automated email sequences particularly useful in streamlining our user acceptance testing process; they go out automatically to remind clients about feedback, which keeps our timelines on schedule.

**What do you dislike about StoneShot?**

One major shortfall is the lack of flexible conditional logic and branching within automated email workflows. There's no built-in stop trigger, like halting outgoing messages if a client submits testing feedback. I have to monitor campaign activity constantly and manually pause messages, which is time-consuming with multiple projects. It results in clients receiving repetitive follow-up messages even after completing their reviews, making it look unprofessional. The lack of native integration with Optimizely is another inconvenience. I can't auto-populate progress inside emails, so I manually insert testing URLs and notes each time.

StoneShot organizes client communication, ensures compliance with legal templates, segments contacts effectively, and monitors email activity. However, it lacks integration with Optimizely, requiring manual entry of URLs and notes.

**What do you like best about StoneShot?**

I love the automatic sync with eSurvey, which adds custom sentiment tags to contact profiles instantly, saving me from manual data handling. Its built-in GDPR toolkit is also fantastic, easing compliance stresses with features like timestamped record logging and legal footers ready to go for German laws. The BotShield analytics filter is another standout, ensuring that our campaign metrics are accurate and not inflated by fake bot opens. The pre-made branded email templates are a huge time-saver for us, allowing quick and easy launches of internal newsletters and event invites, all while staying true to our branding.

**What do you dislike about StoneShot?**

First, the native filtering builder for survey-segmented audiences lacks multi-condition layered logic, which limits how precisely we target stakeholders based on eSurvey responses. Right now, I can only filter by a single survey tag or customer attribute at once. For example, I cannot create a combined list of retail partners who submitted negative shelf-life feedback AND ordered our premium cold-cut range in the last two months. To pull this targeted group, I have to export two separate contact CSV datasets and cross-reference them in Excel every time I need to send tailored corrective outreach to wholesale clients. There is also no option to schedule automated weekly summary reports tracking survey email performance; I must manually download and compile metrics to share with our quality control leadership team each Friday. Second, the mobile interface is extremely stripped down with limited editing functionality, which slows down urgent operational responses. I regularly tour our production facilities and meet with regional retail distributors across Northern Germany, and I often spot spikes in negative eSurvey feedback while off my desktop. The mobile view only allows me to view contact profiles and basic campaign stats—there is no ability to edit existing email templates, adjust triggered survey follow-up rules, or launch emergency communication sequences. If multiple customers flag safety packaging defects overnight, I cannot deploy a responsive notification email until I return to the office, delaying our customer recovery efforts.

StoneShot eliminates tedious manual data matching with eSurvey, saving hours weekly, and bridges survey data with communication, enhancing customer experience. It ensures GDPR compliance, filtering bot traffic for accurate analytics, and provides reliable branding and reporting tools, streamlining feedback-driven operations and improving food quality.

**What do you like best about StoneShot?**

I love the native two-way integration with Nimble CRM and segmentation functionality in StoneShot. It automatically refreshes contact data overnight, eliminating manual admin work and keeping records consistent. The synced segmentation allows us to create groups for primary caregivers, secondary guardians, and migrant households, which significantly reduces irrelevant mass emails and parent complaints. The drag-and-drop automation workflow builder for campus event communications is a massive labor saver, as it enables automated, sequential email processes without manual effort, and we benefit greatly from the built-in analytics dashboard for quick reporting. Additionally, the GDPR-compliance tools are crucial for us, outperforming standard email marketing platforms by archiving every send, open, and click indefinitely for audits, and the one-click data purge is a lifesaver for handling data deletion requests. StoneShot’s tailored pre-built templates are perfect for education, featuring branding locks that ensure consistency across communications. The conditional text feature is fantastic, especially for multilingual outreach, as it lets us use one template for all language groups.

**What do you dislike about StoneShot?**

Limited native multilingual content management for minority regional languages. The conditional text tool only supports side-by-side German and one secondary language at a time. We cannot store multiple translated text blocks within a single email template, which requires duplicating templates for each additional language group. This increases our template library size, doubles proofreading work, and poses compliance risks if we forget to update every version after changes.  DSGVO-compliant native parent consent tracking & granular preference management is lacking. StoneShot only offers basic global unsubscribe links, falling short of German school data protection rules. We must maintain a separate Excel register for consent changes and manually cross-reference it with StoneShot segments monthly.  Limited native event registration functionality for school-specific activities. There are no dedicated fields for student grade groups or other specifics needed for K-12 events. The platform also can't auto-block duplicate registrations or cap attendance, requiring manual filtering of sign-ups. There's no built-in QR check-in tool for event attendance, so we rely on third-party software.

I appreciate how StoneShot is tailored for financial services compliance, especially for the German market. It incorporates BaFin and EU regulations directly into templates, workflows, disclaimers, and audit trails, saving us significant time and reducing manual compliance risks. I value the all-in-one structure that combines email marketing, event management, content distribution, and sales enablement. It eliminates fragmentation, maintains branding consistency, and streamlines workflows. The integration with our CRM is seamless, letting relationship managers engage with clients quickly while ensuring compliance. The platform's usability is intuitive enough for non-technical users, yet powerful enough to handle professional B2B communications. StoneShot balances compliance, usability, and integration, making it a standout tool for regulated financial companies.

**What do you dislike about StoneShot?**

First, the user interface can feel a bit dated and less intuitive compared to modern marketing tools. Some workflows take extra clicks, and certain settings are nested in menus that aren’t always obvious—especially for new team members. It’s functional, but the UX could be more modern and streamlined. Second, customization flexibility is sometimes limited to keep compliance strict. For example, some email and landing-page design tweaks require template support or can’t be adjusted freely in the editor. If you want highly unique designs, you may hit small constraints. Third, advanced automation and journey-building are solid but not as flexible or visual as some pure-play marketing automation tools. More complex nurture paths can take extra setup time, and the visual builder could be more drag-and-drop friendly.

The team StoneShot is always very reactive to requests and questions that we might have. They provide an excellent customer service, are very patient and helpful. They are also a great help in finding solutions to improve the experience. We can always rely on them. The email plattform is also extremely intuitive and user-friendly.

There's nothing I can think of honestly.

Thanks to StoneShot we are able to schedule our emails in a very organised way and get detailed results that help our sales team. They also managed one of our campaign website in the best way possible. Content is added and amended very quick. We couldn't get a better service.

**What do you like best about StoneShot?**

The user portal is very user friendly, and can be easily picked up by a relative novice. If anything is not clear, they have a wonderful team of relationship managers who are very responsive and help you get things done, and get the best from your data.

**What do you dislike about StoneShot?**

I don't dislike anything. I think maybe the only thing I might change is that the list and view screens are quite customisable, and as a data nerd, it would be helpful to have a bit more detail available on the sandard views. That said, it could just be that I have not found out how to do it yet.

**What problems is StoneShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a number of 'cottage industries' where our sales teams manually invited people to events and promoted our funds. 
We can now control and oversee communications, and reach big numbers at the touch of a button. For those sales people who are finding it hard to let go of their manual processes, there is a lot of MI which can be played back, to convince them to focus on their objectives rather than getting the messages out there. We are seeing some great click through rates and understanding more about our customers.

**What do you like best about StoneShot?**

The platform is easy to use and understand. I have been able to train others to use it very easily. It integrates well with Salesforce which is useful at my firm. The support team are incredibly helpful and turn requests around quickly; useful to have in urgent situations.

**What do you dislike about StoneShot?**

The only feature I feel is missing from StoneShot, that I would use on a regular basis, is a search function within the file manager.

We've been able to make our email automation much better as a result of onboarding StoneShot. Sharing email templates with other markets across the world enables us to avoid duplication of effort, and support one another wherever possible.

Stoneshot delivers outstanding customer service, nothing is ever too much trouble, and they’re always proactive in finding ways to enhance your experience.

**What do you dislike about StoneShot?**

Creating resend lists to those who have not opened earlier emails. It would be great if there was a tick box option on advanced tab to filter out those who have not open this email earlier without having to create a new mailing list.

The challenge is to contact and keep large numbers of potential clients updated with new product offerings around the world. 

Stoneshot enables us to reach and email a large number of contacts around the world promptly and delivers good MI.

I've recommended StoneShot to numerous clients. They are the most flexible and customizable platform I've worked with as well as having an amazing staff that is responsive well beyond expectations and always a pleasure to work with.

The main problems were tracking and increasing response rates.  StoneShot tracking capabilities are incredibly robust and have yielded tangible ROI.

**What do you like best about StoneShot?**

I like all the functionality that StoneShot has. It makes managing events and sending / tracking emails so much easier, and with such a professional look. I haven't ever used a system as good as this one before, and the support provided is top tier.

**What do you dislike about StoneShot?**

Not much to dislike. Occasionally we might think of a feature that is missing that might be helpful, however, StoneShot regularly check in with us to ask for feedback, and there hasn't yet been any request that we have made denied - they always look into feasability of what we ask to see if it can be implemented.

**What problems is StoneShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

StoneShot helps to manage events and emails on a larger scale. Managing events is far easier with Stoneshot - you can easily keep track of emails that have been sent out - and then you can see who has seen your emails / who has responded etc. and then target follow up emails depending on the data. Emails are also easier to send to large groups of people - and the features such as 'Don't send to any contacts who have received email in last few days' and 'Suppression lists' are great.

When deciding on an email platform, our key criteria were ease of use, reporting accuracy, and support levels. The StoneShot team has delivered on all three. Essentially, we now have a far more accurate picture of engagement and much better data for our sales team.

I have not found anything particularly to dislike as such.

StoneShot is great to use. It's quick and easy to build our emails, especially when you have your own content blocks to work with. They are amazing to work with and have helped us develop and evolve our templates to ensure they follow best practice and deliver better email engagement rates and ensure event sign up is quick and easy. The MI and engagement scoring is also great and has allowed our sales teams to target the most engaged customers first.

I've not found any thus far. They are always evolving, so when we ask we'd liek it to be able to do something different they work with you to find the solution.

The user-friendly drag-and-drop feature has been extremely beneficial when creating templates. I like how easy it is to share test emails with colleagues before they are scheduled to be sent to our audience. The fact we're able to have all the data in one place and not have to use multiple platforms saves so much time. The customer service is also exceptional and response time is excellent.

Stoneshot also easily integrates with our website, and Riz & Matt have been really helpful in assisting us, with quick and insightful responses. I would recommend Stoneshot over Pardot without hesitation especially since Stoneshot has rolled out their event marketing feature.

The team are brilliant, they provide real support to us and feel like an extension of our own team. We've been using the events tools for years now and whilst they weren't fully fit for purpose all that time ago, a lot of time has been spent to bring this side of the platform up to the same standard as the comms side. The team also put real effort into gathering feedback from users like us, so that they can continue to make improvements that will benefit us most.

Most of those bits are long gone now, years ago the events side was quite clunky, but it's far better now and does exactly what we need it to. Some of the reporting in relation to events could be a bit easier, but the team are always on hand to help us find a solution.

It holds a user-friendly interface, robust features, an intuitive design with new editing tools and several analytics features, allowing to simplify the entire campaign process. Another key point is the great Client support response time each time a user seeks timely assistance.

**What do you dislike about StoneShot?**

Nothing negative to mention. Although there is always room for improvement, I believe that the flexibility that the user already has in customizing their campaigns should continue to be expanded.

**What problems is StoneShot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The use of the platform and its tools allows us to deliver relevant information to our clients in an easy and efficient way, bringing visibility to the BNP Paribas Asset Management brand and its products, be it by sending a newsletter, informing about a webcast, or promoting another type of event.
