**What do you like best about BrightTALK (Informa TechTarget)?**

The platform works incredibly well, is very easy to use - both for marketing professionals and speakers/presenters - and the support is fantastic. It integrates well with both our sure and our CRM, and allows for quick and easy useage. The implementation and automation within the platform takes a significant amount of additional work and strain off of our operations and web teams.

**What do you dislike about BrightTALK (Informa TechTarget)?**

There are some limitations to the platform, like advanced editing and formatting of webinar descriptions - so that they appear on-brand and well-formatted on our site as well as the BrightTalk site - and additional advanced permissions for users would also be really helpful for enterprise organizations with a lot of teams.

Also, when your team gets too large, there tends to be some issues with communication on the account side.

**What problems is BrightTALK (Informa TechTarget) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to record, manage, and host our webinars and virtual events without involving additional teams and needing work. We're able to push out new content and web pages immediately. We also use the platform as a virtual recording studio, alllowing us to capture video we might not use as a webinar, but for some other purpose.

**What do you like best about BrightTALK (Informa TechTarget)?**

Lead quality is excellent and I like that we are able to provide a target list of accounts against which the team delivers our leads. The intent data, interests and buying team information provided through Priority Engine and Buying Teams has proven invaluable to our outbound SDRs as they prospect. In our first month of leveraging the PE data, we helped the SDRs identify two opps they would not have found otherwise.

**What do you dislike about BrightTALK (Informa TechTarget)?**

My least favorite thing about TT is their disjointed systems and account teams. All things operational have been confusing, overly complicated and taken longer than it should to set up. In addition, there doesn't seem to be a strong connection between dev. and the customer facing teams as our account team has been surprised by several of the challenges I've brought forward.

Providing a webinar and video content platform that our team can manage to get more content into market faster. BT also gives us access to a huge subscriber audience.

**What do you like best about BrightTALK (Informa TechTarget)?**

The user interface and setup is incredibly straightforward. It integrates well with our Salesforce instance. Customer support has always been great. I used to use the platform for monthly webinars and the ease of use was really helpful because we could stand up a webinar site and start promoting within minutes. I love the data available post webinar and the polling capability.

**What do you dislike about BrightTALK (Informa TechTarget)?**

The webinar experience isn't great if you're trying to record directly from the Bright Talk platform. Ive a had issues with sound quality, Powerpoint slides inserted into the platform (seems to work better if the speaker shares directly from their screen). It doesn't allow for animation or slides that build. Visual quality is also spotty.

BrightTALK has enabled our prganization to broaden our reach with its comprehensive webinar platform. Opti9 posts a variety of content including webinars, new product demos and partner spotlight videos.

**What do you dislike about BrightTALK (Informa TechTarget)?**

There's not much to dislike about BrightTALK. The only downside to the tool is that there are many features that are available, and for someone who isn't super tech savy, it can be confusing.  That being said, our dedicated support team is only an email away, and they've helped us every time we've needed them.

**What problems is BrightTALK (Informa TechTarget) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It enables us to reach an audience that we otherwise would struggle to communicate with.  All of our webinars are accessible via our channel and that looks pretty slick.

Our partnership with BrightTALK has been instrumental in expanding our B2B marketing efforts by enabling us to reach high-intent customers effectively. Their platform connects us with prospects already showing interest in our products, boosting our lead generation efficiency. BrightTALK’s targeted tools allow us to segment audiences by region and persona, enhancing our account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns and engagement with priority accounts. Moreover, BrightTALK’s role as a strategic partner, providing tailored insights and collaboration, has been crucial in aligning our content with business goals and driving impactful results. They have become a core part of our strategy for content-driven lead generation and targeted outreach.

**What do you dislike about BrightTALK (Informa TechTarget)?**

While BrightTALK works well to reach prospects showing 3rd party intent, they do not allow for contact exclusion lists making it more challenging to drive net new contacts into known accounts. Ideally, we’d be able to provide a TAL with an exclusion list of contacts we’re already engaging with to further improve our ROI using the platform.

BrightTalk helps us continue to leverage video content beyond our company website to influence buyers showing 3rd party intent.

The client support team is very attentive and friendly to work with. They always respond quickly. They are nice and smart people. 

BT facilitates broadcast of prerecorded webinbar events smoothly.

The embed code to post webinars on other sites help boost visbility of webinars.

Engagement analytics are insightful.

**What do you dislike about BrightTALK (Informa TechTarget)?**

The lack of two way interation, especially not being able to see if/who attends your webinars while in session is awkward. Most platforms provide visibility into who is in the audience but on BT you don't know if you're talking to 1000 people no one. 

Managing events on the back end is challanging and unintuitive. I have probably been in there 100 times and still play a lot of trial and error when I'm trying to find and manage our channel.

Attracting a targeted audience of professionals, providing robust lead generation tools and detailed audience insights to help nurture and convert leads.

Integrates with various marketing automation platforms, streamlining the process of managing and nurturing leads across different channels.

High-quality video streaming and can handle large audiences, ensuring a smooth and professional experience.

I like the simplicity of the platform and the option to run sponsored programs through BrightTALK. I also love the support I've gotten over the last few years. The price is also a factor for us! All in all a great webinar and demand gen tool for my team.

**What do you dislike about BrightTALK (Informa TechTarget)?**

Nothing really - BrightTALK is a good tool for the price. Sometimes we had issues with some fields not pulling in correctly to our Pardot Salesforce instance, but the technical support team are always super quick to address any issues.

It provides us with a webinar platform where we can have webinars reruns and live webinars. It also provides data enrichment in our Salesforce and Pardot instances and feeds the top of our funnel.

I like how helpful the vendors are at BrightTalk. The user experience on the site is positive. It's intuitive and easy to use. Also, the content analytics are unique in the sense that you can see the viewing duration and how many times your subscribers have viewed webinars.

My biggest issue with BrightTalk is that when you're running a live webinar, you're unable to see how many attendees are on and watching.

We use BrightTALK for all of our webinars and it has been a good experience. Easy to have guest speakers on and for them to quick learn the tool. BrightTALK integrates well with our reporting tools as well.

Not as ADA friendly as it could be. We had a presenter that needed vision assistance and there were no controls to help her with this. She needed to get someone to help her with this.

In addition, it would be great to see exactly who is on as a presenter when the webinar is happening. Other webinar platforms do this and I wish BrightTALK did this.

**What do you like best about BrightTALK (Informa TechTarget)?**

BrightTalk is very easy to use. It provides you with a webinar platform (so you don't need a dedicated solution for that), plus it has a very large subscriber base. Our company channel has over 20,000 subscribers! 

The team at BT is extremely customer-focused. They are always working with you to make sure you are successful in your goals. And they are very responsive - jumping on calls whenever needed.

**What do you dislike about BrightTALK (Informa TechTarget)?**

The webinar platform is a little bit limited in functionality. It would be great to see some more features for better audience engagement.

**What problems is BrightTALK (Informa TechTarget) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BrightTalk is getting our webinars in front of a much larger audience that if we just promoted them ourselves. And the ability to very easily schedule replays enables us to use a webinar for several months - extending the value for the time we put into creating it.

The platform is very intuitive and easy to use. It's simple to upload videos, or create them using the platform. Promoting the videos is simple, and has been a great way for us to connect with both our current customers, and potential prospects. We are also integrating BrightTALK into our CRM system so leads flow seamlessly to our sales team.

**What do you dislike about BrightTALK (Informa TechTarget)?**

So far the only downside I have seen is the lack of flexibility in recording templates. I would like more options to be able to resize the camera and slide show boxes to fit our needs better.

**What problems is BrightTALK (Informa TechTarget) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Planning, executing and promoting webinars using our company's internal systems has become somewhat prohibitive for us. There are many teams involved which means a long lead time from planning to execution and promotion. Our team's have little flexibility in their process and it has held us back in getting in front of our customers/prospects in a timely manner. BrightTALK gives our team the autonomy to move as quickly as we like with similar results.

BrightTALK is very helpful for hosting webinars. We can easily get everything set up, invite clients, view who attended, and share recordings. BrightTALK makes webinar hosting easy.

BrightTALK is pretty easy to use. Might be better if more webinar reminder emails were sent out to registered attendees.

I like the fact that you build up a subscriber base. Webinar functionality is decent and you get great on demand viewership.

I don't like that when people register for a BrightTALK webinar they have to sign up for the BrightTALK platform, it is an extra click that causes drop off. 
It is also expensive

BrightTalk is very easy to use and the account manager/customer support team is great. I find the performance reviews very helpful and being able to ask for insights on our audience is a plus.

What can be improved is lead quality. We've found that even when we specify which titles we want to target, we'd still get low-quality leads coming through. However, the team has been great at replacing those leads.

I like how we can create campaigns targeting specific audience segments, and then choose which webinars to "sponsor" into the campaign for lead generation. The platform is very easy to manage.

I've been running our campaign with BrightTalk for a year and am honestly pretty disappointed—specifically in the lead quality. Low bounce rate on the emails, but the phone numbers haven't been quality. When a user clicks a webinar, they are automatically subscribed to your channel and sent to your CRM, even if they misclicked. This is a problem in regard to intent and results in a number of leads who have no idea why you're reaching out. The cost over all is quite high for the lead quality. Just hasn't been a good experience for us.

BrightTalk is one of the easiest webinar platforms for anyone to use.  It takes 5 minutes to set up a webinar. And I also love how easy it is to run on-demand webinars to keep a nice webinar lead flow coming in.  Running replays is also incredibly easy and is a great way to reuse existing webinars to generate new demand.

The only thing I don't like about BrightTalk is that someone has to sign up for BrightTalk and can't just come in from one of our forms.  But this small downside is worth the trade-off of how easy it is to set up and run live and on-demand webinars.

The platform is really easy to use, with more features and tools added regularly. What really sets BrightTALK a part from the rest is their excellent service and support. I always know a professional will help me to get my job done more easily. That is an invaluable in today's day and times.

I think the fact that users must be members to see content can be problematic. Sometimes I want content gated and sometimes I dont. What would be nice if there was a "preview" feature for non-users to get a glimpse of our content. That could possibly motivate them to sign up and see more.

-Hubspot integration isn't great (not all data would properly sync - we're probably missing 10% of our attendees.) If you're looking for a real HubSpot integration, BrightTalk isn't the tool
-Soooo many steps to register for an event. Create a brightalk account, click register for each session, etc. This process really hurt our registration numbers
-Spam emails everywhere! Both attendees (and myself, the end user) have gotten so many spam emails since participating. Some days there are multiple emails from Brightalk suggesting totally unrelated content. Despite unsubscribing many times, they seem to have multiple email lists (Monday@brightalk.live, Wednesday@brightalk.live, etc.)
-Engagement functionality is really lacking. Basic functions like in session chat are unavailable

Really, the main reason why anyone would pick to host their webinars over most other webinar platforms is that BT syndicates content within their network. They also send out newsletters that include your webinars depending on what tags you put on the settings, and they also send out the reminder emails and thank you for attending, and sorry we missed you emails which is nice.

They have made strides in the platform, and have move to their new "talks" platform but they are still lacking a few things. I wish they would show the number of attendees. It feels weird as a presenter and moderator to be speaking and not know if anyone is even listening or tuned in.
