What do you like best about SimplifyEm?

I love how automated it is while still holding you accountable each day for every task making sure you are checking behind yourself. They are an intricate tool to build my Property Management and Investment portfolios. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimplifyEm?

I dislike having to speak to a different individual everytime I call in. It seems they only have a hand few of individuals working at any given time but I have built a great rapport with at least 2 of them to the point I'd rather have a specialist tailor my needs for my account. What do you like best about SimplifyEm?

What do you dislike about SimplifyEm?

1) I was talked out of my free 1st month, which I should have gotten. 2) I was told that one of the best things about this co is that you can speak to a real person as often as you need, NOT THE CASE EVER. They do not answer and they must schedule appointments with you which can be weeks out, NOT HELPFUL MOST OF THE TIME. 3) I did not get my free month, i complained about what I was promised and what the TRUE experience is. This falls on completely deaf ears, no one apologized or corrected any issues, they just ignore your complaint and move on. Never responding to any issues regarding their business practices. 4) still did not get any resolution to this free month and no real live person easily to speak to for weeks on end and they raised my rate, when I was told that my rate was good for 2 years. Again, they completely ignore their faults and their misinformation. Extremely disappointed in the people here. The program works fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Once you understand the nuances of the software, the navigation becomes simple and easy to manage Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimplifyEm?

Too many steps if you are using the bank reconciliation feature. The creation of a deposit is an extra step that should be eliminated since, on receipt of the amount, a checkmark of "Money received" should be set up. This feature would make it easier to use.

What do you like best about SimplifyEm?

It is user friendly. Keeps everything organized and makes accounting easier. Customer service is amazing. They always fix any issues quickly and have the patience to explain. They answer very quickly to any request or question we might have. The reports they provide saves a lot of time when we need to send monthly reports to owners. Love the feature where we can set up automatic reminders to pay rent to tenants and notices as well. The feature they have that gives tenants the option to pay online is great too for us as property managers and also for the tenant's convenience.

I like that they are always looking for ways to make things easier to understand and work. They are always looking for improvement and their prices are very reasonable.

I also like the fact that is web-based so we are able to log in from anywhere at any time.

I like the email they sent every month showing the most profitable and the least profitable property in the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimplifyEm?

There is nothing I dislike about the system or customer service. Everything is great! We have been using them since they started and have had a very satisfying experience. What do you like best about SimplifyEm?

The Software is easy to understand and covers all the bases plus some. The cost point is spot on and I have a choice to do a lot of the legwork, or allow the software to take the burden. I would suggest this to anyone managing one property, or several properties. The tech support is very responsive to questions and any issues I have. I really made a great choice. If you are questionable about managing yourself, don't be. This software will make that transition an easy one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Cannot send invoices, breakdown of customer payments is not that easy to configure/allocate, cannot customize notices/letters. If you want to send a monthly invoice with a breakdown of charges, you cant. What do you like best about SimplifyEm?

The cutomer support is outstanding! The upside is again the customer support. Some aspects of the software is intuitive while some is not. I have a fair amount of computer experience (not a novice), however some things were not obvious to me to perform. With a email and/or a phone call, I will receive assistance. There are many videos on You Tube to review which I find very helpful. The cost of the software was competitive as compared to other programs. My portfolio is small but growing so the price according to scale was reasonable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimplifyEm?

One downside of SimplifyEm is the inability to download the software to your computer as opposed to a web based program. I prefer software on my hard drive and the ability to download updates from the web. Several of the programs I have seen were like this as well though. I wish some things were more intuitive, however that may or may not be more subjective on my part. Occasionally, one may need to contact customer support as some functions you may not be able to "fix" on your end, however all agents have been very helpful including the agents I have talked to.
