# What is the best platform for managing visitor check-ins?

Want to start a discussion with experts in the Visitor Management Software community on G2.

When I explored G2’s Visitor Management Software category, I was looking for tools that simplified the visitor check-in process with automation, security, and ease of use. Based on reviews and my exploration, these four platforms stood out:

Envoy Visitors – I noticed how intuitive the self-service kiosks and pre-registration features were for streamlining guest entry. But did the automation really simplify visitor management at busy enterprise offices?

Proxyclick by Eptura – I found its compliance tools and ID verification useful for security-conscious organizations. Did it scale well enough for enterprises handling high volumes of daily visitors?

FacilityOS – I saw its integrations with access control systems and real-time notifications make check-ins seamless. Did those integrations reduce manual intervention as much as expected?

Sign In Enterprise – I liked its customizable workflows and advanced reporting for audit readiness. But did the flexibility truly pay off in faster onboarding for visitors?

Did adoption feel smooth, or did security requirements slow it down?

All four of these visitor management systems are powerful, but in my opinion, most of them are better suited to enterprise teams. Envoy and FacilityOS tend to be priced on the higher end, and Eptura is custom-priced. Sign In App is more reasonably priced, but its native integrations are fairly limited. At a similar price point, you can often find alternatives like Archie that connect to door access control systems and support more customizable visitor workflows.

When you implemented a visitor management platform, how smooth was the adoption for front desk teams and did security integrations (like ID scans or access control) add complexity or speed things up?
