Simple order is a large improvement in the ordering process. You simply set up your entire inventory by vendor, along with their email, and send orders quickly from the phone or pc in a matter of moments. The vendor price vs our price function is confusing and a bit buried in the process but is available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Recipe creation is very lacking, worse than starchef.net which I had used prior and hoped to advance from. In the "preparations" tab for recipes there is no tab for any method or techniques to be added, simply list ingredients and pray the chef knows what order the product is to be added, which is not a good thing. You also can't use ingredients twice, so in the baking or cooking process when you want to list adding butter at several different stages of the recipe you can not do it. Simpleorder lumps all the butter in one line, which in cooking spells disaster if followed that way. You can also not easily sort the order items are to go into the bowl or the process.
For full recipe creation there is no place to add the yield. So in doing a coffee cake you have to first do it as a preparation, with no technique how to make it, then list it again in the recipe section with the directions how to make it. No good chef will be able to use the recipes generated, and the reports require you to download the recipes to excel from the preparation area. My brand new pc says memory is insufficient to open the Excel report, seemingly another bug. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
