This really allows us to view our daily sales and dive into specifics of our revenue and expenses at an operating day to day level. We also love the food inventory management of Craftable. **What do you dislike about Craftable?** There hasn't been anything that's come through that is a mjor pain point. One possible improvment would be the ability to stop mulitple sales record being duplicated when processesing them and pushing through to our ERP system. **What problems is Craftable solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps solve our food service / invetory management that we have at our restaurants. It's accurate and easy to use for our GM's so we love that. We also rely heavily on the analytics that we recieve from our sales report to help maked better informed business decisions. ### 2. The ability to interface with our point of sale, time clocking, and accounting platforms give us a virtual one-stop-shop for many of our most important KPIs. **What do you dislike about Craftable?** I can't think of anything we dislike about Craftable. I've personally been utilizing Craftable and working with the team there for over five years. They are continually improving and innovating their product, and their customer service is top-notch. **What problems is Craftable solving and how is that benefiting you?** Of significant importance to us is the ability to see our multiple location operations in one place. We can easily monitor purchasing and inventory levels across the company and quickly spot issues. The integration with our accounting software allows us to be much more efficient at the store level and in our accounting office—no more hand-coding and entering invoices. ### 3. Looking at menu development and also sales analytics with servers and bartenders has been amazing ### 4. Even if you choose not to use certain features, you will get more out of this software than many of the competing platforms. **What do you dislike about Craftable?** The Director panel, for those who oversee multiple locations, could use a little attention. Adding items across all stores is a daunting data-entry task. I would like to see this improved upon. I'm not a fan of the login process on the mobile app. I'd be fine with it keeping me logged in or at least store my credentials from quick access. **Recommendations to others considering Craftable:** Craftable offers next-level inventory management unlike many of the competitors who offer user interfaces that are geared toward a simpler, almost gaming-like feel. I've found those to be suitable for smaller restaurant/bar programs who just want something super user friendly but less analytical. **What problems is Craftable solving and how is that benefiting you?** Craftable keeps inventory reporting consitent across all of our stores and streamlines our ordering. Once the system is setup and live, completing inventory, reconciling invoices, and building orders saves our management team a substantial amount of time. The POS integration helps quickly identify discrepancies. And management can quickly price out items to fit our margin goals without having to jump into excel or break out a calculator. ### 5. The color-coding is excellent, and the whole UI is highly user-friendly. The ability to undo things becomes extremely helpful, and the search engine makes work so much easier! The notifications don't let you miss out on due assignments and keep me out of trouble! **What do you dislike about Craftable?** The only thing I dislike, and it's not even a bad thing cause it's beneficial, are some of the dialogue boxes when approving invoices. I know they are there to help make the process more accurate and fast, but I rarely have to do what they suggest, so it's an extra step to say no or to close the window, but for people who do track their orders more closely, they are a great asset! **What problems is Craftable solving and how is that benefiting you?** The color-coding makes it easier to know what invoices haven't been reconciled and which ones are ready to be approved. The notifications on the screen help me keep up to date on my approval of invoices and assigning all to the right departments. ### 6. There are many platforms available in the market that would require the use ofmultiple platforms to answer questions of such complexity: Craftable can do so on a standalone basis. **What do you dislike about Craftable?** Onboarding process can be complex for uniquely-structured operations or those that don't have a dedicated technology resource employed to focus on launch. In addition, suite of reporting options can be overwhelming, especially without the guidance of an account manager. **Recommendations to others considering Craftable:** Consider strongly for inventory management and accounting streamline purposes. **What problems is Craftable solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're working to further optimize inventory ordering processes and have shaved a couple hundred basis points off of COGS as a result. In addition, our accounting team has integrated Foodager into daily operations, saving several hours of labor and lots of headaches on a weekly basis. ### 7. I love it that it is super easy to upload the invoices. Very fast, lamost no lags and waiting to load a page/ report **What do you dislike about Craftable?** There is some room for improvement: - Sometimes, the platform catches the wrong date of the invoices -Once a bill has been created, even if you unapprove the invoice, you can't unmap the items. As a workaround, I delete the line and add a new item, which is time-consuming. -The help page could have been more detailed and thorough - You can't delete items, only mark them as unactive - Very often an adjustment slip for returning a product is processed as an invoice, not as a credit note and I can't change that by myself. Has to contact support to process it as credit. - In the Books (orange page) I would like to have a search box to search for an invoice number, like I can do in the Foodager/ Bevager -Would love to be able to switch off the option to get asked every time after mapping the items to link the invocie with the PO. **What problems is Craftable solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are trying to go paperless and having all invoices uploaded here helps us to do that. The beauty is that is it so robust that any account can customize their usage to thier needs and discover very relevant and valuable ROI. ### 9. Being able to do all of my ordering from my phone app is probably thr biggest help in my day. **What do you dislike about Craftable?** I have not found anything to comment yet **Recommendations to others considering Craftable:** If you are running a beverage program with high volume or a complicated program with lots of items and moving parts Bevager and craftable in an invaluable tool that with consolidate your workload and make everything accessible from 1 platform. I would highly recommend this product. **What problems is Craftable solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tracking beverage cost and incremental changes in pricing has allowed us to stay on top overall beverage cost for the entire program. Variance reports and live depletions of inventory has pointed out issues with over-pouing and waste management. ### 10. It includes many of the benefits of similar programs (Avero) but the purchasing, receiving and inventory management aspect is incredibly helpful. It's integration with our accounting software is also very helpful. **What do you dislike about Craftable?** The programming on the back end is tedious and sometimes difficult to navigate when things aren't easily identified. The more complex a concept or menu is for a concept the more difficult it becomes to program menu items, recipes and modifiers to deplete inventories accurately. **What problems is Craftable solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have better access to data at our fingertips versus previously needing to get reports from our Admin/accounitng department. Easy to analyze costs and sales and helps to identify ways to improve operations. ### 11. Before we really only had a broad idea of our food and beverage costs based on our P&L every month. We'd only get a half-decent idea of our loss at the end of each quarter when accounting audited our inventories, but even then we were missing out on a lot of the picture. With Craftable's foodager and bevager we now have a working knowledge of how each product is utilized thanks to its seamless integration with our POS system. **What do you dislike about Craftable?** Very few things I don't like about it. I think the biggest complaint is that it's complex. I know that the complexity is what makes it such a powerful tool though. Working with our account rep who is always helpful and willing to take time to train, we've been able to set it up properly so that it's not complicated to manage. At this point, we're able to best utilize its services. On that note, my other dislike is that it's hard for other team members to quickly adapt and learn this product. To be fair, that also reflects on me as a trainer & Coach though! **What problems is Craftable solving and how is that benefiting you?** Inventory loss (and thankfully not theft, but that could be an application for other restaurants). Craftable has helped us to streamline our production process and make smarter decisions about our menu mix. **What do you dislike about Craftable?** There is a slight learning curve with how to adjust any items that were reconciled incorrectly and have the wrong PU. I also wish that Craftable could pick up on duplicate ingredients/items. There are many people using one account at my job, so some duplication happens. **What problems is Craftable solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have a strict budget for menu creation on a weekly basis and Craftable helps us easily pull recipe costs to make smart decisions. It's also helpful to be able to search your recipes by a specific ingredient - if you are trying to build a menu using certain ingredients that you have in-house. While Craftable makes inventory entry a breeze, it would be great if there was an easier way to reconcile invoices without manually adjusting pricing. ### 15. I only have positive things to say. **What problems is Craftable solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can control the flow of the restaurant very well even before any guests have arrived by pre assigning tables and forming a strategy for the night. But also being able to build orders from one page, regardless of the vendor/distributor, and then have the emails sent out has been incredible. And listing emails that yu want copies of the order sent to as well for record keeping is wonderful, especially when you're ordering for 6 bars and with the industry's current state. ### 22. I fear it has shed some light on areas I thought I had a better handle on. We wish customer support would of Been a bit more Helpful after paying for the system for over a year and not using it we weren't even offered any type of discount to keep us on. ### 26. If I had my own businessI would be using a program like this.
