You can arrange a customized loby for your attendees. It is good feature which we did not find in zoom. You do not have to download the software, browser version is enough to join the webinars and virtual conferences. As organizer we were able to customize the notification alerts for our attendees. For Webinars or Virtual conferences when you send invitation to the panellists or speakers there is 50/50 chance that they do not receive this inviation email and link not even to the spam. Organizer can not arrange customized re-occuring conference sessions. We wanted arrange a week event with one registration link because each day we would discuss different subtopic of the main topic. But with one registration link it was not possible. Moreover, the software interface is not fancy enough. There is not any distinguising feature or sign to identify host and speaker. Samba Live offers many collaborative features that make 1:1 meetings, group meetings but also webinars interactive. I really enjoyed the whiteboard feature and the possibility to upload documents and/or videos for sharing.

It's easy to set up, you don't need any software or downloads. That makes it super easy for others to join your session, your participants only need a link + password (no signup required).

I enjoy using Samba Live instead of other video conferencing solutions because it's reliable, intuitive (easy user interface) and it offers the right mix of collaborative features. The admin interface (where you manage your account) feels a bit overwhelming sometimes. Nevertheless, it's easy to set up a meeting and the meeting interface itself is great. The support of Samba Live is also super reliable, they are very respectful and always try to help - I have the feeling that the team takes the ideas and feature requests really seriously. We use Samba Live because it is a browser-based video conferencing tool with breakout rooms that doesn't require client-side installs. Many corporate clients don't allow client side installs and Samba Live fills that need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Today's session with 18 people from 4 countries was particularly challenging. People had connection issues suddenly in the middle of the session. And twice our 4 breakout rooms ended without any warning.

It's easy to set up and use. Participants don't need to install and software, works directly from the browser. Samba Live has all features needed to organize and host an online workshop. Digital Samba had many tools helpful for teachers when using the platform. The students enjoyed writing on the whiteboard. They also enjoyed watching videos and working collaboratively. The system was difficult to control if you had students in breakout rooms. No matter the support and encouragement of break out room rules, we would still have students in the breakout rooms writing on the board and talking on camera instead of completing the task at hand. I also did not like how powerpoint presentations are downloaded into the system. The formatting is frequently messed up. I rather just upload a pdf. Then that negates the point of putting useful links in the presentations. Which is another thing, the link sharing is very inconvenient. I want to be able to simply put all required links in a powerpoint for the class and click through the slides smoothly. I can't because the links kick the kids out of the platform when they click on the links. I have to put it on the board manually, which is time consuming or in chat, which gets lost easily. There needs to be a much better system for keeping original formatting and link usage. As an elementary teacher the features and systems are not geared towards our elementary learners. I liked the 'advanced features' tool while creating the meetings. It gives the host a lot of control over the flow and organization of the event.

This platform is a great resource to utilize for online learning. There are many features that work well in an educational setting. Educators are able to upload any materials, change settings and formatting, turn on and off both their permissions and students with ease, move students into breakout rooms, and write on the board. While the pencil draw tool is sometimes not as smooth in the writing for a math teacher, it does serve as a nice feature. Students often get kicked out of the classroom. In order to keep track of who is coming and going, I have to enable the lobby and it can become challenging to continue allowing students in. Screen sharing often causes students to get kicked out of the platform. It can sometimes be time consuming to turn on and off tool board permissions for students to write on the board. When a student is kicked out of class, it puts them back into the main room and the teacher must move them manually into the breakout room. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Support team responds really quickly and are knowledgeable. One of my favourite features is that they are completely HTML5 allowing for easy integration via iFrames into other websites without losing features etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have also tried many many different solutions on the market and found this one to be the very best ! Firstly it is extremely easy for our students to enter the Virtual Classroom - just one click on their teacher's unique access link. Our teachers can also use OnSync easily even if some of them have quite low tech skills. During our Online Lessons we use the Audio and Video as well as share Lessons Plans easily and utilise the Chat function too. Teachers can also share their screens to show different websites etc All of these features create a fully interactive, innovative and ideal learning experience for our students !
