We use Ruckus for deployment our guest facing internet access points and controller to supervisor and manage the environment. Both wired and wireless. Also used for our conference services deployment for various corporate groups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The GUI web interface is easy to navigate make changes in, and supervisor the system. The access points are made well and are fairly durable. I have never had one fail or brick and even be defective, really. And the one or two that I have had be defective have been replaced. Also the variety and selection are good. The form factors of their access points are tailored to fit any need of ours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I dislike how upgrading firmware can render older access points unusable. Feels like I'm buying new access points too often to stay current with controller firmware. There is also unclear or not easily found documentation regarding which firmwares brick which access points. You need to have a support account to see the PDF docs and its a real slog to try and comb through various docs to find your particular upgrade path and in that path which APs will no longer work. Recommendations to others considering the provider:

Good UI, support, and updates. Easy to deploy and manage. Pretty good value for your money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the provider? What benefits have you realized?

Solving the deployment of guest internet wireless and wired internet connectivity, independent of OS. Access points are extremely well made and worth the money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

What do you like best?

The mesh network, practically plug & Play setup, management through zone director are incredibly easy to use and manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Occasionally will run into issues with access points losing mesh connection to one another causing network outages in those locations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
