**What do you like best about ROLLER Software?**

I like the simplicity of the use of Venue Manager. Venue Manager allows me to create easy schedules for hours and closures, and also to code out detailed products our business can offer to customers. I use ROLLER Software for our booking platform, and it resolves constant calling for reservations, making it easy for customers to book.

**What do you dislike about ROLLER Software?**

I find the ease of syncing with 3rd party platforms could be improved. Platforms like TripAdvisor, Viator, and Groupon syncing the reservations that customers book through them to sync to our ROLLER calendar.

**What problems is ROLLER Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ROLLER Software to resolve constant reservation calls, make booking easy for customers, create simple schedules, and code detailed products.

**What do you like best about ROLLER Software?**

Easy booking for our customers, it has all information we need to see their reservation. From booking to checking in.

**What do you dislike about ROLLER Software?**

The waiver system, sometimes not all waivers are in a specific party database but so customers have to redo their waiver- day of event, causing wait times.

**What problems is ROLLER Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s solving having all information in one database. From the customers information, other party guest’s information, waivers, & rsvps. Also great for potential customers looking for quotes/ pricing on a specific event.

I love that Roller puts all we need in one platform. Reservations, reports, pos, product building, birthday parties.

Roller updates which changes settings. They do not send messages about this.

**What do you like best about ROLLER Software?**

POS  is easy and fairly self explanatory. Venue Manger is also easy to use once you get the hang of it. And help is always easy to use and get back in a timely fashion! I like the videos they send to help through the issue. Staff is always nice and very personable. We started with Roller about a year and a half ago, the switch was seemless. I use both POS and Venue Manager daily. Personally, I am still learning some of it, but it seems to be easy to program it for our needs.

**What do you dislike about ROLLER Software?**

Seems like a new system still? It maybe that its just new to us and we are still working out the kinks sometimes. The only thing annoying would be a midshift update (cst here) and at first it seemed like there were updates weekly.
There are alot of steps to somethings; like adding stock to menu, but that may also work in my favor as a fail safe

**What problems is ROLLER Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of iventory, keeping track of guests and their informations. What was sold. I especially like seeing the reviews of our members after they receive an email asking about their time here. It also let's our guests know if someone else came in aqttempting to use their membership!

**What do you like best about ROLLER Software?**

In my opinion, the best feature of ROLLER is their client support. Whether it is with my direct contact or through the online knowledge and support tickets, I always feel like I can get assistance at any point of the day.

**What do you dislike about ROLLER Software?**

Sometimes I do feel the administrative side, like reporting, can be hard to interrupt. It feels as though I can get an answer to my question in several different parts of the system but the answer is never the same in both places.

**What problems is ROLLER Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They recently solved our credit card chargeback issues with introducing ROLLER Payments.

Ease of use - simple to access necessary information

Insightful - information is always at hand and very well presented on a Daily and weekly basis 

Well rounded - does everything our business requires on a daily basis

Constantly innovating - adding new ideas and features to streamline tasks

**What do you dislike about ROLLER Software?**

Some areas can be temperamental when trying to update new areas. A key point being the creation of PoS templates. Will work sometimes but not all the time.

Not mobile friendly - trying to access the dashboard on a mobile phone is difficult and hard to read due to compression

**What problems is ROLLER Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Roller is offering new ways to constantly streamline our business processes. Such as implementing party run sheets to easily access information and display in a clear format for staff to understand.

It is also providing us with a stable and easy to understand POS system for selling goods and services compared to other alternatives.

**What do you like best about ROLLER Software?**

Check-in is much smoother than our previous software. I like how modern and minimalistic the UI is, much simpler for training new staff. The GX scores are also much easier to read and allow the team to understand what our customers are saying in a more user friendly way. Customer support is always swift and we've had a lot less downtime than our previous software. It has a wide range of features that are easy to implement, allowing us to innovate new ideas with minimal issues. Roller is essential to our business and we use it everyday without issue. By far the easiest integration process compared to other systems.

**What do you dislike about ROLLER Software?**

When customers give us a 3 star review, it makes our GX score go down but I believe it would be better if it kept the score the same. That way 1 or 2 stars makes us go down, 3 stays the same and 4 or 5 makes us go up.

Faster customer sign in and easier waiver form system, improving customer experience.

ROLLER Software makes it easy to manage multiple Venues at once.
ROLLER Help tutorial pages are an amazing tool providing step-by-step guides for most system features making implementation relatively easy.

**What do you dislike about ROLLER Software?**

Some relatively simple features are missing which are present in other popular software.
Reports can not be filtered and created to such depths as on other popular Software

**What problems is ROLLER Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ROLLER solve a variety of problems frequently, most notably they do seem to be solving issues around the guest check-in experience like waivers (unique booking waivers id's), guest log-ins to edit their booking etc which helps reduce time spent amending bookings on the phone or in person.

We love Roller because it's so easy to use both on the POS side as well as the customer side for Online Checkout! The reporting is great as well! Our previous software would always crash but we rarely have issues with Roller!

It's very user friendly and easy to navigate. There's loads of help articles if you get stuck.

**What do you dislike about ROLLER Software?**

Some features aren't easy to differentiate between, ie funds received, vs revenue, vs gross sales, etc. terminology is often changed which can be confusing.

There's no phone help line for immediate assistance.

Allows staff with a variety of skill levels to use the system easily.

**What do you like best about ROLLER Software?**

The continous development. New features. Cloud based. Love the intergration with our marketing platform.

**What do you dislike about ROLLER Software?**

Packages. I get the concept, our park prices are based differently. Ran into some issues regarding building them.(Our packages aren't priced per jumper) THEN you can't archive the ones that didn't work out for you. Other issues Tips & Waivers. Tips: can sometimes show as overpaid or having a remaining balance. Waiver: We set our waivers to expire, when neew bookings occurs old waivers pop up as expired and we have to advance search for new ones. Another issue regarding waviers, if I try to attach a waiver to a booking - the other names associated with that same waiver doesn't pop up. This is new. Say Molly (adult) completed a waiver for Tom, Dick & Harry. BEFORE, I could look up Harry and all the other names will pop up along with it. This is no longer the case.

Accessibility. We were with CE first and only had access at the park. Hands were tied. Plus Roller is more modern & easy to use for our front line staff.

The UI is amazing, but it cannot be viewed on mobile devices and doesn't allow you to print a booking screen without first exporting it to PDF.

It's so helpfull on booking management and capacity management.

**What do you like best about ROLLER Software?**

We have used this system every day as a 7 day a week company since it was first released.
It is broad enough to handle the multiple different time slots of activities we have and is fairly easy to use.
It is an all-inclusive program which makes it easier to track where everything is at and get instant information on the current status of bookings and payments.
As it is an all in one system we didn't require it to integrate with any other systems.

**What do you dislike about ROLLER Software?**

There are so many hidden fees you aren't told about. When you sign up for the premium account you are promised a set amount of fees on top of the exorbitant yearly fee for the product.
Customer support isn't very helpful. Any issues are responded to in vague sentences, or you are told it is an issue in the program that is being worked on but never seems to be fixed.
There are constant errors in reporting that don’t match up with the live data that need to be amended all the time.

**What problems is ROLLER Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can handle different prices for peak and off peak and with each hour of operation and each day we have a different wrist band colour. Roller is very inclusive with the broad scope we require it to cover.

**What do you like best about ROLLER Software?**

I think ROLLER is super easy to use, I had training once and since then I use it every day with no issues! It is great not only for our companies internal use, it is also great for our guests who make reservations through the software. You can easily make selections, process payment, etc. all through one program. I thinks its great and it has positively changed the way that we run as a company!

**What do you dislike about ROLLER Software?**

The only downside I can think of is sometimes when trying to make a change to a booked event, the page will glitch and the change cannot be processed. It is really not a huge issuea nd we work around it, but for bookings and organization it can be frustrating at times.

**What problems is ROLLER Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has eliminated the need for guests to book small events through our sales team, which has saved a ton of time and allows them to focus on bigger groups that require more energy. It has also elimitanted our use of multiple booking and reservatuion softwares - we now have almost all products and packages available through one easy to use software!

Constant updates, constant communication

**What do you dislike about ROLLER Software?**

Longevity of serious bugs, membership bug caused people in our venue to get charged way more than usual and it wasn't fixed until a month or two later

**What problems is ROLLER Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of access to our venue and the ease of our customers. We also utilize the roller reports to help us in our marketing, and what might need a promotion to bring it back up to speed.

**What do you like best about ROLLER Software?**

I like that Roller includes point of sale and booking software in one program. Their customer support is available when we need them as well.

**What do you dislike about ROLLER Software?**

The software needs to include a timeclock function. I've never used a point of sale that didn't track employee time. It's inconvenient to have to use a seperate program for a single feature that could easily be incorporated. 
Also, the knowlege/skill level the customer support team is hit or miss.

**What problems is ROLLER Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Roller combines a point of sale system with booking software to reduce the number of programs/subscription services we use. Using fewer services cuts costs and increases efficiency.

**What do you like best about ROLLER Software?**

The on-boarding process to set up and launch was fantastic. There is a very useful training guide and  the Roller Academy online (with videos and explanations)  making it quick and easy to find answers/ solutions.
The system is very-user friendly and we were able to train our internal teams quickly which allowed for a smooth transition from our old system to Roller.
Quick and easy booking system for customers to pre-book ahead of visit.
The latest update for the Wristbands feature, has been an excellent ad on for our facility.

**What do you dislike about ROLLER Software?**

Not a dislike as such but possible areas for improvement - 
The reporting features are a bit basic and it can sometimes require running a mix of reports to get what you neeed.
Billing Information has difficultly accepting postal codes from areas outside of ROI which can affect customer bookings.

**What problems is ROLLER Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick and easy booking process for customers has aided us with operating as a 'pre-booking in advance' policy
Reduced workload on staff & management as system doesn't require constant overview
Booking forms has helped us collect key information for group bookings/ parties 
Wristband feature has reduced staff errors

set-up with Roller team has been easy, with discovery sessions upon request to understand certain specificities. Roller has been an agile system for our use, with the ability to set up the various products we need for our operations. Multiple reporting features available give us good visibility on business performance.

**What do you dislike about ROLLER Software?**

Invoicing does not meet all our requirements. There is no perfect system, but Roller has proven to be good value for money for what we do.

Roller is our day to day ticket POS, catering for various product types, segments, and operational needs.

Playground doesn't work - ever.

I think thhe best part of Roller in the customer support, people, and their willingness to help. We use Roller every single day in our business. We just implemented Roller and we're now very excited to discover more if its features. Roller was, as one of a few solutions, able to cover most of our requirements for a booking portal. Even worked with some language barrieres and the operating staff is also happy. Onboarding process was absolutly 10/10 and our client service agent Filipe took great care of all our needs. We didnt had to have any experience and there is a helpcenter and direct support for all open questions. This helped us a lot to really customize Roller to our needs and make the most out of it.

**What do you dislike about ROLLER Software?**

Non native english speaker staff members need to be able to understand the basics of the software and help themselve. In our case this is not a big problem, but on a larger scale a translation of the venue manager and POS system could be helpful.

With roller we're now able to customize group and event bookings for all occasions. Additionally we frequently run specials and promtions via social media. With the easy to customize checkout the marketing team can handle the front end and promotion codes within minutes by themselve and run special ads with direct booking links and big cta's.

I have worked with many POS systems over the last ten years, and Roller has been the easiest to implement with my teams. It is so much more intuitive than other software, allowing our team training and development to focus on guest experience. The Roller Support team is unmatched in response time and effectiveness! Roller is so intuitive; the system/GUI only takes up ~5 minutes of our new-hire training. We like the kitchen POS capabilities, for example being able to choose what printer to send an order to based on what the order contains. Looking forward to improvements in this area.

Some of the workflow could be streamlined to check in a guest. The waiver needs to be changed so a family can all use one waiver. Right now it's one per adult, and minors can be added to an adult. So a 5-member family with two parents would need two waivers, one for each adult, and the 3 kids would be included in one of those.
The process of importing existing guests from another system can be daunting. 
Family memberships support needs improving.

While there are limitations within the system, the ROLLER team have worked closely to find a solution that works for my business. Roller currently doesn't offer 2FA to enhance the security of customer data.

ROLLER works great for the free independent travellers (FITs) that visit our site. The different ticket options and schedules have made it easy for us to manage. ROLLER Payments has been a great add-on that makes taking payments and issuing refunds easy for our ticket team. Online checkouts have made it simple to sell online and are only improving. The reporting options and open API have been useful for back-end operations.

**What do you dislike about ROLLER Software?**

We would like to see more options for ticketing to tour group companies. A bit more access to the API would help us a lot. Enterprise features like dynamic pricing would greatly benefit many ROLLER customers.

I don't like anything about Roller.  It's a poorly made app that is not user friendly and has the WORST customer service.  I don't think anyone that rated this 5 stars has actually ever used the app.

It is not user-friendly and makes things more difficult than it ever should be.  Customer service is unresponsive on time-sensitive issues. If you ask them for help or for someone to go over how to use they app they want to charge $420 to 1600 to do it.  I feel that they have made it difficult to use on purpose.  Their documentation is all over the place, vague and does not address errors or how to fix them.

**Recommendations to others considering ROLLER Software:**

Consider something else.  This software is terrible.

We can check people out, but scheduling and creating events is a nightmare. So, I guess not very much. After my interactions with them over the past week, we are looking for something else. Perhaps an app with better customer service that isn't trying to nickel and dime their customers with a poorly made app. Forget calling them because they never answer the phone.

Roller is a ticketing software that makes purchasing tickets easy and is constantly reorganizing their workflow to improve the experience for your customers.  We have been users for 2+ years and seen the improvements and been part of beta programs in order to shape the roadmap.  It's amazing when a company that you pay to work for you, works with you to offer the best possible product.

**What do you dislike about ROLLER Software?**

With pushing the limits of continual updates, comes bugs and relearning the platform occasionally.  Roller generally improves upon features and rolls out new features monthly which is far more often than other companies.  Communication is good when updates are released but we have discovered bugs.  There is also a learning curve and new training required each time there is a change made, even if the change is for the better.  Doubled edged sword but I would rather have improvements than a stagnant platform.

Our previous POS provider almost made it difficult to be a patron of our business.  Roller makes the online checkout and in person point of sale purchase very simple and efficient.  In the recreation and entertainment industry, the goal is to get customers in the doors as quickly and easily as possible in order to avoid bottlenecks and negative experiences from the beginning of their visit and that's what Roller offers.

The major improvement for us is the ease of use of the system as well as how much more user friendly it is to manage multiple sites using the management end of the system. We have Found it is very easy to train staff on the system and also like that we can make nearly all changes required without any third party assistance.

**What do you dislike about ROLLER Software?**

Sometimes the system can be slower to use than our previous system at some sites (but I believe for the most part this is due to the internet speed we have available at some sites. The system also at present does not have some functions yet to allow us to update multiple sites at the same time of offer a tiered multi site membership system etc that we require for our business. However a Roller is constantly improving the system, and we believe all of these mentioned points are in the roadmap moving forward. Overall however we find very few issues with the system, highly recommend.

Makes it easier for us to manage multiple sites from any location. The key benefit for us has been how much easier it is to use and train people on, alongside being able to setup and manage our online checkouts without needing to contact the booking system provider like we have with previous systems we have used.

As a venue the best feature that we like is the ease of use and how quickly we are able to not only book in but also check in our customers. Everything is laid out in a clear, easy to read way. The support response time is also very impressive with the majority of issues resolved almost immediately.  The system is also a lot more reliable than our previous one.

**What do you dislike about ROLLER Software?**

The ability to have a simplified group party waiver would be a nice addition, as well as more customisable reporting features. We find that upcoming advertised features often take a lot longer to actually become available. Sometimes suffers a slight delay with reporting financial figures. On occasion proof or evidence of an error/ support ticket is required, i understand it is to help problem solve, but this isn't always practical and realistic to obtain.

**Recommendations to others considering ROLLER Software:**

Ensure all features meet any current requirements. Staff training required is relatively short due to the ease of use for the system.

Our check in time is reduced due to the way ROLLER manages all bookings and waivers. It is also far easier to have total control over all products that we offer as well as providing individual images for each item. The support team is extremely helpful and always on hand no matter what time of day.
