How long does it take to implement RingCentral Contact Center across a team?

Go-live experiences range from under a day to several months, with the shortest timelines and implementation within a month most commonly reported. Longer rollouts also occur, particularly for more involved deployments.

Under 1 month Common
1–3 months Less common
3–6 months or longer Occasional

What customer support options does RingCentral Contact Center provide, and how do users find the overall support experience?

Support is available through customer-service and technical-support interactions, and the experience can be helpful, responsive, and practical for setup or troubleshooting. Users also describe delays, tiered escalation, and difficulty reaching the right team or resolving more complex issues.

What is the experience like for teams switching to RingCentral Contact Center from another tool?

Switching to RingCentral Contact Center has often meant bringing calls, messaging, and contact-center workflows together while improving visibility, remote access, or connections to business systems. Transitions from older contact-center and telephony platforms—including Avaya, Genesys, Webex, Five9, Vonage, and 3CX—reflect motivations such as replacing less reliable systems, simplifying administration, gaining CRM connectivity, or improving cost and flexibility; the transition itself ranges from straightforward to requiring substantial setup and configuration.

What tools and platforms does RingCentral Contact Center integrate with, and how do these integrations help users get more value from the product?

RingCentral Contact Center connects with CRM and other business tools, helping agents bring customer context into calls, log interactions, and reduce switching between applications. Specific connections described in use include:
  • CRM: Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, SmartAdvocate, and JobDiva
  • Communication and collaboration: Microsoft Teams and LinkedIn
  • Business and workflow tools: Excel and Outreach
These connections can make customer records and call activity easier to access during daily work, though setup and reliability can vary.

What features or capabilities could make RingCentral Contact Center even more useful?

The most consistent opportunities to make RingCentral Contact Center more useful are clearer reporting, simpler administration, and more dependable workflows. Users would particularly benefit from:
  • More flexible custom reports and dashboards, with easier filters and clearer access to historical data.
  • Simpler setup and configuration for advanced routing, IVR, integrations, and other administrative tasks.
  • More reliable call and messaging performance, with fewer interruptions and smoother recovery when issues occur.
  • More accurate AI transcription and summaries, including better handling of accents, noise, and important details.

How useful do RingCentral Contact Center users find its AI features in everyday use?

AI transcription and post-call summaries can reduce note-taking and make it easier to review conversations and prepare follow-ups. The benefits are less dependable when transcription misses names or details, or when accents and background noise affect accuracy, so users still need to check the output.
  • Conversation capture: Call transcription, notes, and summaries for reviewing interactions and supporting follow-ups.
  • In-call assistance: Translation and agent assistance that can help users follow conversations or find relevant information.

"Unified Omnichannel Support That Keeps Our Team Organized and Efficient"
4.5/5
What do you like best about RingCentral Contact Center?

What i like best about RingCentral Contact Center is how it brings customer interactions across voice and digital channels into one place. The interface is fairly easy to navigate,,, and having call routing, interactions history and reposting tools together makes it easier to manage customer queries without constantly switching between systems. I also appreciate its integration capabilities, which help connect contact centre workflows with other business too;s. overall, It helps the team stay organized, respond to customers more efficiently and maintain a more consistent support experience. the setup can take some initial effort, but once the workflows are configured, daily operations becomes much smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RingCentral Contact Center?

One thing I dislike about RingCentral Contact Centre is that performance can occasionally feel inconsistent when handling multiple tasks or switching between different views. The platform also takes some time to configure properly, especially when setting up integrations and customising workflows. Pricing is another consideration, as the overall cost can add up depending on the features, licenses, and support required. For smaller teams it may be difficult to justify the investment if they don’t use the full range of features. I would like to see more flexible pricing options and a smoother setup experience to make it more accessible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real-Time Queue View Makes Monitoring Spikes and Trends Easy"
4/5
What do you like best about RingCentral Contact Center?

The real-time queue view is what I end up checking most days. It lets me see how many contacts are waiting, which channels are picking up, and whether anything is starting to back up, all without having to jump between different tools. That makes it easier to spot issues early and give a clearer update when volume spikes. The historical numbers are useful too, especially when I’m looking back at patterns across different shifts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RingCentral Contact Center?

Some of the reporting filters take more clicks than they really should, especially when I just need a straightforward view of a single queue or a specific time period. Overall, the interface feels like it’s designed more for agents and supervisors than for pure ops tracking, so I still end up exporting data fairly often to get what I need. I’ve also noticed a couple of instances where the digital channel status lagged a bit during peak hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Co-Browsing Made Claim Form Calls Faster and Easier"
5/5
What do you like best about RingCentral Contact Center?

We handle insurance claims support and customers calling in confused about an online claim form used to mean a lot of "ok now look for a box near the top that says" back and forth, genuinely painful for anyone not super comfortable with computers. Co-browsing let me actually see the same form they're looking at and guide them directly, or just fill in a field myself while explaining what I'm doing. A call that would've dragged on for fifteen minutes of verbal description wrapped up in about four once I could actually see what she was seeing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RingCentral Contact Center?

Only works if the customer's on a device with a browser open to the form already, so if someone calls before even getting to the website, I still have to walk them there first before a session can even start, which is an extra step some older customers found a bit confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Madi Hayford of RingCentral Contact Center

Hey Oliver, it is wonderful to hear how RingCentral Contact Center co-browsing is transforming your insurance claims support operations! Cutting a complex call time down by eliminating agonizing verbal descriptions of online forms is a huge win for both agent efficiency and customer satisfaction. Visually guiding policyholders through claims forms or securely assisting with field entry removes technology friction when customers are already stressed. The Review Team would love the opportunity to learn more about your experience. Please reference this review, and email us directly at review@ringcentral.com to continue the conversation together.

Thank you for being a loyal RingCentral customer, Oliver!

"RingCentral Contact Center Changed How I Pick Up Conversations Instead of Restarting Them"
5/5
What do you like best about RingCentral Contact Center?

I use RingCentral Contact Center while helping organize college events, handling student inquiries, and following up with volunteers. What I like most is that I stopped treating every call like a brand-new conversation. I usually use the agent workspace, interaction history, and internal notes. At first I thought I would still keep my own reminders in another document, but after using it regularly I found myself checking those less often because the previous context was already available. One unexpected benefit was that I became more comfortable answering follow-up questions without worrying that I had forgotten what happened earlier.

The layout also felt consistent after a few weeks, so moving between different parts of the workspace became routine instead of something I had to think about. I also liked that it connected well with the other communication tools we already used, so I wasn't constantly switching between tabs. Performance has been steady during normal use, and I haven't experienced many interruptions while handling conversations. The best helpful thing was that I naturally focused more on listening than on trying to remember every small details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RingCentral Contact Center?

As more conversations build up over time, finding a very specific older interaction sometimes takes more effort than I expect. I occasionally wish there were a quicker way to narrow down long histories when I only remember part of a discussion.

The onboarding was straightforward for the basics, but some of the less common settings took me a while to understand without checking the documentation. Support was helpful when I had questions, although a few answers required more back-and-forth before I found exactly what I needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Madi Hayford of RingCentral Contact Center

It is great how RingCentral Contact Center has shifted your workflow during college events and volunteer management! We are proud to hear that having instant access to interaction history, internal notes, and AI conversation summaries allows you to focus on active listening rather than scrambling to take notes or reconstruct past context from memory. Eliminating app-switching while maintaining a consistent agent workspace makes handling multi-step follow-ups significantly smoother. The Review Team would love the opportunity to learn more about your experience. Please reference this review and email us at review@ringcentral.com to continue the conversation. "Found out what 'active-active' actually meant during a real storm"
4/5
What do you like best about RingCentral Contact Center?

I was honestly skeptical of all the uptime marketing language when we signed up, five nines this, active-active that, sounds like buzzwords until you actually need it. We had a pretty nasty regional outage hit one of our data centers a while back, and I fully expected our call center to just go down with it. It didn't. Traffic apparently just shifted to another data center without us doing anything, no failover delay we noticed, no dropped calls that I heard about from the floor. That was the moment the "guaranteed uptime" stuff stopped being a sales pitch and became something I actually trust.

Also just a small thing but click-to-dial from the agent desktop saves more time than I expected day to day, agents aren't manually punching in numbers for outbound follow-ups anymore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RingCentral Contact Center?

Support during any kind of platform-wide hiccup, even minor ones, gets slower to reach since presumably everyone else is calling in with the same issue at once. Had one smaller incident where getting someone on the phone took longer than the actual issue lasted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Madi Hayford of RingCentral Contact Center

It is fantastic to hear how RingCentral Contact Center proved its active-active geo-redundancy during a real-world outage, automatically shifting traffic across data centers without dropped calls or manual intervention. Knowing that integrated click-to-dial also speeds up daily outbound workflows is great! The Review Team would love the opportunity to learn more about your experience with our products and services. "International customers finally got a local number to call instead of paying overseas rates"
4.5/5
What do you like best about RingCentral Contact Center?

We sell to customers across a dozen countries, and before this everyone had to dial one US number regardless of where they were, meaning some customers straight up avoided calling because of what it cost them internationally. Setting up International Virtual Numbers gave customers in our biggest markets a local number to dial instead, so a customer in the UK is calling a UK number at UK rates, not paying to ring the US. Call volume from a couple of those regions actually went up once the cost barrier disappeared, we hadn't realized how many people were just emailing instead because calling felt too expensive from their end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RingCentral Contact Center?

The automated callback feature offering to call customers back instead of holding is great in theory but the callback sometimes lands during a time zone where that customer's clearly not awake, since it doesn't account for local hours automatically, we had to explain that to a few confused overnight callbacks before adjusting the settings manually per region. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Madi Hayford of RingCentral Contact Center

Hey Gwen, thank you for sharing your fantastic feedback! It is great to hear the impact International Virtual Numbers has had on your globally distributed customer base. "Found out three agents weren't clocked in before it actually hurt our morning numbers"
5/5
What do you like best about RingCentral Contact Center?

Launch mornings for big promotions used to be chaotic, we'd staff based on a rough guess and only realize agents were missing once wait times were already climbing. RingWEM's attendance monitoring flagged three agents as not checked in by 9am on launch day, well before it became an actual service problem, so a supervisor could pull in coverage immediately instead of reacting after complaints started. The adherence tracking also caught a handful of agents spending more time in non-supporting states than scheduled, which we'd never have noticed without it laid out on a dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RingCentral Contact Center?

The forecasting model needs a decent amount of historical data to get accurate, our first couple of promotional launches had it under-forecasting demand since it hadn't seen enough similar past events yet to calibrate properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Madi Hayford of RingCentral Contact Center

Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed review, Stacey! It is great to hear the impact RingWEM (Workforce Engagement Management) has on your high-volume promotional days, specifically how real-time attendance monitoring flags missing agents before 9 a.m., allowing supervisors to pull in coverage before queue wait times spike. Having real-time schedule adherence metrics to address state drift with hard data rather than guesswork makes coaching conversations much more objective and productive. "A Useful Tool for Managing Calls"
5/5
What do you like best about RingCentral Contact Center?

What I love about RingCentral is that it has a built-in live AI translator and automatically sends me an email summary right after the call. It’s really helpful when the connection isn’t great, and having the summary afterward makes it easier to review the call and make sure I don’t forget any important details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RingCentral Contact Center?

Nothing much. I am using the desktop app and it just looks a bit outdated compared to newer communication tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Madi Hayford of RingCentral Contact Center

Bernadette, thank you for sharing your great feedback and review! It is wonderful to hear how RingCentral Contact Center's live AI tools are supporting your daily call management. Having real-time translation on live calls is a game-changer for bridging language barriers and handling unclear connections. Furthermore, automated post-call email summaries help save valuable time and eliminate manual note-taking, ensuring key details and follow-ups are never lost. The Review Team would value the opportunity to learn more about your experience with our products and services. Please reference this review and email us directly at review@ringcentral.com to continue the conversation together. We hope to hear more from you soon, Bernadette!

"All Calls, Emails, and Chats in One Screen—with Seamless CRM Screen Pops"
4.5/5
What do you like best about RingCentral Contact Center?

The best part is that our team doesn't have to bounce between five different apps anymore. Phone calls, emails and live chats all funnel directly into one single screen. It saves a lot of time and makes sure no customer message gets lost in the shuffle. I also really like that it synchronizes with our CRM. The screen pop actually works; when a client calls in, their account info pulls up right away, so we already know who we are talking to. It cuts out a lot of manual searching. As an admin, making changes in the background is way easier than I expected. If we need to tweak our call routing, update the IVR menus, or change who is in what queue, I can just go in and do it myself without having to submit an IT ticket and wait days for it to get done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RingCentral Contact Center?

Trying to find old call recordings is way harder than it needs to be. The search tool feels really clunky, so if you don't know the exact time of the call, it takes forever to track a specific conversation down. Also, their pricing structure. You have to pay extra for certain features that feel like they should just be included out of the box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Straightforward Setup, Powerful AI, and Seamless Salesforce Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about RingCentral Contact Center?

The initial setup was straightforward and easy to follow, and the intuitive interface has made a huge difference in our ongoing development. We really value this tool for the strength of its AI capabilities. The integration with Salesforce has been invaluable for our team, streamlining the entire calling process and cutting down on manual effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RingCentral Contact Center?

It works well, and I honestly have nothing negative to say. It’s made it much easier for our sales team to stay focused and keep on track. Customer service has also been excellent—they responded very quickly, and we really appreciate the support and help we received. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
