I use Remote to check my payslip, request leaves, and get my expenses approved. I find the onboarding experience to be smooth, structured, and time-saving, as I can set up new employees, upload documents, and finalize contracts with just a few clicks. I appreciate that it's an all-in-one HR platform handling hiring, payroll, time-off, benefits, expenses, and contracts all in one place, which reduces manual work and keeps everything organized. I also value the transparent costs and clear breakdown provided by Remote, as it gives me a clear view of salary, benefits, employer costs, deductions, and taxes, aiding in better budget planning. The employee self-service portal is incredibly handy, allowing employees to upload documents, update personal info, track time off, and view payslips without needing HR intervention, saving a lot of back-and-forth. Additionally, I find Remote's interface to be very easy and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Remote HR Management?**

Time off should specify regional holiday in time off request page. Regional holidays should reflect with dates so it can be added state-wise without specifically going and selecting.

**What do you like best about Remote HR Management?**

I really like that everything in Remote is fast and can be done online, which is crucial for efficiently managing tasks such as obtaining my salary, documents, and understanding working rules in Germany. Additionally, I highly appreciate the fast response from everyone involved, making the process smooth and hassle-free. The initial setup of Remote was perfect, which made transitioning from Deel, where document handling was slower, an easy decision for my team. Overall, these aspects significantly improve my experience with Remote.

**What do you dislike about Remote HR Management?**

I dislike that the benefits, such as insurance offered through Remote, can only be taken for a short period. I want to access insurance through Remote, specifically Allianz insurance, but found it to be expired when I needed it. I wish the benefits were accessible at any time, regardless of the timing.

**What problems is Remote HR Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Remote for quick access to salary, documents, and working rules in Germany. It's fast and online, ensuring quick responses, unlike Deel, which was slower. However, benefits like insurance expire too quickly, limiting extended access.

I like that Remote's app is very convenient and easy to use. It helps me by keeping everything in one place and managing my off days between me and my employer. Additionally, the calendar feature keeps me informed about upcoming events and holidays, which is a big advantage. I also found the initial setup to be pretty cool, as all the documents were easy to upload, and every section was easy to go through.

**What do you dislike about Remote HR Management?**

I disliked the onboarding process; it was awful. Consultants used AI for legal matters, which made their responses untrue. Using AI took more time than needed, and the consultants who were supposed to help didn't help at all.

Remote keeps all my details in one place, manages off days with my employer, and the calendar informs me about upcoming events and holidays.

I like that Remote is easy to use, whether from the app or from the computer. I also appreciate that they have a chat bot available and, if we need help from an agent, it is easily required. Furthermore, I love that everything is remote, which eliminates the need to leave home to go to the office, as everything can be managed through the app or even by email. I really appreciate that they provide us with an immediate response.

I understand that Remote has its international staff, and this is sometimes a bit confusing because each country has its holidays that are updated without prior notice. Sometimes, Remote is not aware, and we workers have to notify them so they can be added. The initial setup was somewhat tedious due to the paperwork and procedures they required, especially the exams from the clinic. It was noticeable that there was no order and we had to insist on updates.

I appreciate how Remote simplifies global employment. All my payslips, contracts, and time-off details are centralized in one place, which is very convenient, and the interface is both clean and intuitive. I work fully remotely and occasionally relocate to different countries, so it’s reassuring that payroll, taxes, and compliance are handled quietly in the background. I don’t have to worry about chasing paperwork. On the few occasions when I reached out with questions, the support team was quick and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Remote HR Management?**

The most challenging part for me is that some topics around local taxation and social contributions are not always explained in a very practical, country-specific way. When I relocated, I needed a few rounds of clarification to fully understand how everything works. I’d also like to see a bit more flexibility and transparency in the product itself, for example clearer timelines for product changes and a few additional self-service options in the dashboard.

Remote addresses the challenge of working for a company based in a different country than where I reside. It enables me to work entirely remotely and even relocate between countries, all while maintaining a compliant local contract, payroll, and benefits. This significantly reduces administrative tasks for both myself and my employer, allowing me to concentrate on my work rather than navigating regulations, registrations, or paperwork with local authorities.

This is a plug-and-play platform that is easy to manage, especially when you are not dealing with complex onboardings in countries where you lack legal entities.

**What do you dislike about Remote HR Management?**

I wish the permissions within the platform were more customizable, allowing me as an admin to edit and review more day-to-day tasks, such as managing holidays. Additionally, there is very little visibility on the backend regarding how payroll is processed, especially if any changes are made during the month. You have to wait until the pay run is complete to see whether your adjustments were applied, or you need to open a support ticket beforehand to ensure everything is correct.

As we try a different market, it saves time in the hiring process from a country where the company does not have a legal entity.

I appreciate that Remote is very intuitive, which makes it easy to use. The customer service is also very good, with the ability to request HR or other information via the chatbot. The latter is very convenient and often relevant, allowing for a very quick and clear response to every need or question.

**What do you dislike about Remote HR Management?**

The only downside I had is that sometimes the count of N, N-1 RTT leave days is not synchronized on the day off view compared to the actual count on the leave days available on the payslips. The count of available/taken days on the platform should be synchronized with that on the payslips.

**What problems is Remote HR Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Remote, I have a contract under French law and simplified HR management. The application is intuitive, with good customer service and a handy chatbot for quick responses.

Logging in and understanding everything is very intuitive. The expenses submitting section is also intuitive and easy. I really appreciate the AI and scanning features for email, which make scanning expenses or requesting time off so intuitive and easy. From an employee perspective, the initial setup of Remote was very easy.

I think sometimes needing to be able to get hold of someone to ask a quick question is arduous and requires too many steps and too much of a delay.

I love to use the chat feature and if something is more complex, my account manager  is a fantastic resource who's always there to help me (and does so quite quickly!!)
