ReadyTech provides tools for managing virtual images and curriculum through a web interface. It was quick to train my instructors to deliver our materials. We were able to convert our training classes from traditional in-person to virtual within 2 weeks. Customers have been able to access the environment even given their strict IT policies. The technical support team at ReadyTech has always been quick to answer questions. The ReadyTech team schedules a time to setup your virtual environment, then takes a snapshot. Updating or changing the image is relatively simple. The web-interface has a ton of options (but can be daunting at first) to create class-templates, events and email templates. You can create lots of instructors and manage partners to deliver your classes. The sales and support teams is quick to respond to questions and honest about the capabilities of the tool.
3 Year Update: We have expanded our use of ReadyTech Virtual Training. What we thought was just a COVID temporary solution has become a core component of our training offerings. ReadyTech has continued to update their technology, and the students that use the tool have all had positive comments. We are able to scale our classes easily. We continue to host multple classes each month. Whenever we have a technical support issue, we can immediately (I mean with 2-3 minutes) have a live agent available on chat to solve the problem. There hasn't been an issue that they couldn't fix for us. Can't say enough about their technical support staff, they are great and always quick to help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The event management interface is a little clunky, but once you get past the quirks, it is powerful. The cost is a tad higher than other solutions. The virtual classroom feature (still in beta) does have some stability issues around the audio and webcam. I would recommend using another platform for the audio and web-conference. The management tools for creating email templates is not ideal and formatting the HTML emails is not trivial. The learning curve for the management interface does make the simple tasks daunting, but can be done with training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
