  ### 1. Virtual Classroom at its best

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

We are using ReadyTech Axis in conjunction with MS Azure VMs and are very satisfied with the features available already. Knowing that ReadyTech is still moving features from their own infrastructure platfor over to the Axis multi-cloud the stability of the solution is just excellent. 
We are using GPU-enabled VM exclusively and really appreciate the desktop client in addition to the HTML viewer. Our typical 3D CAD training classes use the instructor-led portal. The trainer's VM is presented to the trainees in the browser's classroom tab one monitor while the 2nd monitor is showing the VM's desktop. 
The chat feature is also very useful and the response time of the best customer support team I have seen so far was always short - usually between 1-5 minutes.
Our trainers love the platform and enjoy working from home during the pandemic even more.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

The pricing structure is a bit confusing for our taste. You have to deal with multiple subscriptions and plans as well as add-ons. E.g. calculating a multi-month training combining instructor-led and self-paced lectures was a bit of a challenge.

**What problems is ReadyTech solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are replacing in-house training rooms with remote ones in our subsidiaries in Europe, the US, and Japan. Classrooms are now installed and prepared in a few minutes. 
Need an extra seat - just a few clicks away.
Need more powerful 3D workstations? Pick the right size when creating the event.

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

Ease of conducting online as well as in-person classes.Extremely easy to monitor students' classes. 24X7 Technical Support. Ability to customize the training classes as per students' schedules. The technical support has been super amazing.. I have support specialists respnding within 3-4 minutes and resolving my issues. They are extremely talented.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

Currently we have 5 free days for image update. If you can increase it to 10 it would be great to update our training content in the images.

**Recommendations to others considering ReadyTech:**

One stop shop for all your training, consulting, presentation requirements for organizations.

**What problems is ReadyTech solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teaching has become simple and easy. It's a fantastic tool to learn and teach various courses. I can monitor & correct my students when they make mistakes during classes. I can also set the timer for breaks, for exercises and chat 1-1 with students during class. I have the flexibility to make them presenters & i can take control of their screens and explain them easily.

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

ReadyTech Viewer is the one that I like more. Next there are things like Dashboad we can stop the session if I want to stop working. I can see the reports for every seat, who is using how much of time.

Nothing I have found which I should dislike but sometimes I found slower,Responsive in browser I found was not as it should be. otherwise it works fine.

I am using the for working, benifit is that there is no need of having the big space software bundle to install and it makes many thing easy.

The ILT and ASP scheduling of readytech are best.

Troubleshooting part is tricky and always need someone from RT

We have  atleast 10 classes running everyday and it makes lot easier to schedule them.
ASP training’s are too easy to schedule and monitor at the same time.

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

Walking a virtual class and see students work is very useful. Students know that I am watching through the popup on screen so guiding them by voice is seamless. You hear me talk, you see Im watching, therefore you know who I am talking.  Taking over a desktop to personally demonstrate an aspect of the dataset is useful for the student. It allows them to move forward in the exercise.  Demoing the instructor desktop directly to the student ReadyTech desktop has benefits. It ensures the students see the demo on the screen and stops them from jumping ahead and doing an exercise while my desktop covers theirs.  
We have to upgrade our systems regularly as new releases come out or as we customise data to meet specific customers training needs. We are able to upgrade our data and maintain our systems as and when we need to. It takes about 4 hours to verify , configure and deploy a new version of our images so its an easy job to complete overnight.  ReadyTech support is one of the best I have come across. They are online 24/7 and respond within minutes. They have never been unable to solve a problem that usually stems from students and instructors not following guidelines on the ReadyTech systems use.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

There isn't much to dislike. Once you are confident in the tools available you feel like you are in the classroom with the students. We utilise a meeting room outside of ReadyTech and request students use 2 screens so that they don't have to keep swapping pages to see the content and lecture  against the ReadyTech dataset.

**Recommendations to others considering ReadyTech:**

Try it before you ignore it.  Once you are confident in the features of ReadyTech and standardise the set up your students (two screens, one for Readytech and the other for your presentation and and a webcam) you soon get used to using the product from home while talking and teaching to the other side of the world.

**What problems is ReadyTech solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Covid-19 stopped our travel to teach customers overnight. Luckily we had already met Bart and his team in 2018 and established our requirements for remote training and been successful in teaching classes from our home offices well before the pandemic started.  We have taught many students who could not have afforded to travel to our classes in the past. It has allowed us to teach in areas that would have previously been of concern to send a trainer to and we have reached students who would have missed a training opportunity due to their companies inability to reach our minimum student threshold we need to travel.  As global trainers we like teaching from our home offices knowing that we are not risking our health while delivering high quality training to our valuable customer base.

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

All environments are accessible in an easy way via web browser and also via remote desktop connections. The Lab Manager is a pretty useful tool capable of sending and collecting files from the students. It also allows monitoring the student's screens and take control of their desktops which is helpful if the students face any issues and need assistance. The support is fast in case of issues.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

The capabilities of audio feature do not fit our requirements which is why we use external tools for the audio and screensharing during the class. The environments are sometimes slow, even though the instance is in a close network location.

Do trials to validate if ReadyTech fits your requirements.

ReadyTech provides us an easy way to create events and spin up virtual environments for software training in an instructor-led course.

Lab Manager feature - Allows the instructor to see all the student's VM screens at once and offer assistance where needed.
Browser based viewer.  No need to install any executable or deal with firewall & IT issues.  

Also, running Readytech on the Azure cloud means we can support training classes globally, and use GPU intensive applications easily.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

I haven't seen what not to like yet.  It does the job.

Support Team works 24X7 and always informative. They help in understanding issue and provides either the solution or direct towards right steps to resolve the issue. Additionally, RT Legacy and RT on AXIS portals are very streightforward and easy to use to order labs, edit or any further steps required.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

A problem-solving knowledge with "customer image" is lacking. By that I mean if there is any particular team is assigned to handle a list customers, they should be trained with basic customer environment so that the end customer has to deal with only high level issues that will improve customer experiance.

Usually, these are related to delays or errors in the image. The issues get resolved immadiately.

ReadyTech's Lab Manager is outstanding and helps instructors support students through control the class 
Their support is outstanding. Every team member I have interacted with is professional, responsive,  knowledgable, and friendly.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

Some features need refinement (especially in the Instructor Led Portal), but ReadyTech is always open to feedback and they are ever-improving.

**Recommendations to others considering ReadyTech:**

Definitely get the Lab Manager. The Instructor Led Portal is good, but you may want to consider further whether it meets your needs.

Being able to "look over students' shoulders" in a virtual class. This is HUGE!
Helping to manage the cost of the Azure environment for courses
Instructor Led portal allows for integrated presentation.

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

The support team are professional, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and are always willing to go the extra mile for their customers :) The service is user friendly and intuitive from both an administration and user perspective and the feedback received has been excellent.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

The sound quality can sometimes be intermittent, however I understand that this is still in beta testing mode and therefore may not yet be 100%. Occasionally the internet connection could drop out, but again this did not cause major issues and the attendees on the course were able to pick up swiftly from where they were left off.

**Recommendations to others considering ReadyTech:**

ReadyTech provides a first class solution during the lockdown and has been invaluable in ensuring that we continue to meet our customers needs and requirements - highly recommended!

Before lockdown we would deliver training to our customers face to face in hotels, schools and meeting rooms, however Covid-19 meant that this could no longer happen. ReadyTech has enabled us to deliver the same quality of courses to our customers, without the need for leaving the office/home, ensuring that we are able to continue to meet the customers needs and continue to generate income for the business.

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

ReadyTech have the best support service. The team are responsive, knowledgeable and go above and beyond - they are the main reason I am writing this review.
The platform is easy to configure, reasonably and practicably priced, i.e. they provide sandboxes to maintain the environment for free.
The performance of the platform is great and the instructor manager allows me and fellow trainers the ability to view, control and manage by classroom of remote attendees.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

The admin console is cosmetically dated but is perfectly functional. I'm nitpicking here.

**Recommendations to others considering ReadyTech:**

Give it a trial and you'll soon realise how easy it is to use and how supportive the team are - you won't look back.

During the first lockdown here in the UK, ReadyTech has enabled us as a business to continue to deliver technical training to our client base and maintain that classroom feeling.

Managing the participants access code remotely and providing the timely help to participants.

ReadyTech is very useful approach for virtual trainings. I didn't see any issue.

ReadyTech's virtual environment has been a blessing for setting up classroom environments in various parts of the world.  It's much more reliable than hoping someone is installing software properly on a physical machine in a classroom somewhere.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

It can be a challenge to ensure you're set up in the proper cloud environment and that you're scheduled for the proper time zone.

The best part is that I can connect to the server using RDP & I can check my network health using settings.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

Deployment for the 1st time takes much time.
 Now I don't see a chat bubble.
Frequent  network interruptions leading reconnection

I can perform all my exercises with ease, and all the required materials are there on the server.
Additionally, it is easy to launch and resume at my convenience.

Being able to see thumbnails of trainee screens

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

Audio continues to be an issue intermittently.  Also, I wish there was a feature to make it easier to have trainees see trainer screen side by side with the screen they are working in.  No one seems to have this feature, and the workaround, involving trainees resizing screens and moving them around is clumsy and difficult for some trainees.   When I go into someone's screen to assist, I have to Demo to All TWICE to make it work, every single time, as does my colleague when she is training.

Audio is iffy.  Having to jump back and forth to use chat and see virtual desktop is painful

That it's super complicated to find anything.
For example, I and all other participants in the training had major issues because of the keyboard-settings that didn't allow us to enter the password to access the virtual machine...

I would say that our service is pretty great 95% of the time. We'd love to have no technical issues at all but understand that from time to time we're going to have some.

Definitely consider ReadyTech. We continually evaluate all our vendors and ReadyTech has continued to be our VM provider of choice.

Recently, we added the ability for our customers to order up virtual machines on a website built for us by ReadyTech, using the customer's own P-Cards or personal credit cards. This solves the issue we were having that our customers wanted to have some access to our VMs after our training courses and until this development we weren't able to provide that.  The fact they can do this with just a credit card provides great ease of use and value for our customers.

I love how responsive the Readytech crew is to our questions and when we need help. I have emailed at odd times in the middle of the night and still get a response within 15-20 minutes. 

Also, the Readytech system itself is very easy to manage and to navigate. It make setting up Virtual Classrooms easy.

Finally, the ability for Readytech to provide you with licensing (i.e. for Microsoft Products) is a huge help as well. Very streamlined when building out your enrvironments.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

Every once in a while, there is noticeable lag when using Readytech. This is rare but when it happens it does cause our training classes to bog down as we wait for the system to respond.

Readytech is a solid, top tier Virtual solution. I am always impressed by their service and their stability.

We no longer have to try and host our solution internally, thus requiring our customers to install a 3rd party vpn solution to access it. With ReadyTech, all you need is an internet connection. Prior to using ReadyTech, it was hit or miss whether our clients would be able to connect to our internal servers for training, and it would sometimes take 3 or 4 hours to get everything ready. Now, everyone is online within 10 minutes and ready to go.

The instructor portal has been easy for our customers to access and navigate.  The system pre-check instructions have been very useful for new users with clear step by step process.

The only issue that is sometimes encountered involves an interruption in the internet service, if a client or instructor is using a wireless connection.  This can cause the lab environment to be interrupted for a very brief period.

Besides having a really great product, ReadyTech has hands down the best support staff I have ever worked with in the industry. They are responsive, happy to help, and go the distance to make sure we are always satisfied with the results and their service. We've come up with more than one request for them over the years that I was sure would confuse the team, or just be denied as "too difficult for us to implement" - but not once has that happened with ReadyTech. Their knowledgeable staff have yet to let us down, delivering a great experience or a quick fix for any issues we have encountered, every time and without fail.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

Although we rarely experience this, the one downside to using a service in the cloud is when students have connections issues on trying to connect to the ReadyTech service. These are typically on the student end  (or ISP/route over the internet), and take minimal troubleshooting to discover... but part of the price of doing learning services over the internet.

**What problems is ReadyTech solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using ReadyTech meant we were able to expand our product training very rapidly, building custom deployments that suited the very specific needs we had. In addition, our team gets a ton of us out of the tools for instructors offered in the ReadyTech environment, making the instructor led virtual training experience better from our side and for the student side.

Personally, I really like how intuitive the User Interface is. The whole "lobby" experience where a Student first lands on this page and gets additional resources for the class is definitely a great experience. The ability to connect either via Console access to the Landing Machine through a browser window or also via RDP.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

They are still using standalone ESX servers. Other vendors have switched to docker and use other access server like Guacamole which are more light weight. We often see issues with resource handling by the Servers in use. 

Having to use a single landing machine to connect to all machines inside the lab environment. I would want to see access to all machines from the same window, not having to connect to a single machine which could be a single point of failure and when down, lab is completely inaccessible.

Easy set-up, easy UI for Students. Ability to deploy labs in multiple regions and superb technical support with follow the sun operations.

Deploying multiple Student virtual labs very easily. Being able to support Technical Training's in all regions as Ready Tech does have Infrastructure presence in AMERICAS, EMEA and APAC.

Since our Student's technical expertise varies, by exposing them to the Ready Tech's user interface, we are able to cut down on time on having the Instructors explain how to use the platform. We appreciate how Ready Tech has improved the access experience for Students. I've been expose to Ready Tech for more than seven years and see them how much they have grown as a Company and how much the have listened to Instructors, I personally value this call to action they have taken.

I love that instructors can view all the students' screens as thumbnails to monitor their progress, or look at each student screen in full-screen, and take control quickly and easily to provide help.  This is the perfect technology to enable students to work on proprietary software where an instructor can easily and effectively monitor their progress and the progress of all the other students.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

My only complaint is that if the instructor shares their screen, students working screens are replaced with the instructor's.  We use a different screen share technology in addition to ReadyTech so students can watch an instructor screen on one monitor AND work in their own VM on another monitor simultaneously without disruption.

There was no other technology available that did exactly what we wanted.  Zoom came closest but wasn't really at all the same.

My favorite features of ReadyTech includes its ability to customize the lab environments based on the needs of the lab.  For very intense labs we utilize a dedicated host per student with as much memory, CPU, and solid state disks as we need.  I also like the true pay-as-you-go model which is a main reason we switched.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

If I had to say something then it would be that although they have 3 datacenters globally, the high-end environments are not available in one region which can make labs there a little slow as students need to connect to datacenters further away.  It is manageable and we still have great classes in that region.

Work with the sales team to setup a true demo so you can get a feel of what its really like.

Sometimes there are issues with the images.  Since we are international, I had issues for a while when I used an image outside the US but it was eventually solved.

The different deployment options available in the Admin portal  for our course images.  We are able to generate 3 different revenue streams for each of our  Instructor led training images through the easy to use Admin portal.  The portal allows us to schedule each individual image for online Instructor led training, post classroom to self paced access  and salable self-paced access through the purchase portal that ReadyTech provides. We provide online training to customers in highly secure networks and ReadyTech has worked in most of our customer sites.  When something does not work or a problem arises the support personnel are always available in chat, by email or on the phone.   Our sales rep. and customer success manager are always available and willing to listen to our recommendations that may improve the product for us and other customers.

There really is nothing to dislike.  Everyone we have dealt with has been customer focused.

ReadyTech is very easy to work with both Support and Customer Success are very responsive to listening to challenges and coming up with workable solutions.  The pricing is very competitive and their purchase portal offering allowed us to reach a global market with out having to invest in an eCommerce solution.

ReadyTech's flexibility is my favourite aspect. It can be used with just a computer and an internet connection meaning so additional software needs to be installed. I particularly like that the machine being used doesn't need to be high spec and this works well for users who may be involved in more business roles in an organization.  A definite plus is an ability for it to be used virtually anywhere in the world. Finally, whenever I have run into problems or needed help using the system, responses from ReadyTech's support team have always been immediate and helpful.
