Property Matrix is web-based so it is easy to take it on the go or access it virtually from anywhere. There are many ways that Property Matrix makes process leases and payments a breeze. There is also automated built in document signing, automated email and text to new tenants to sign up Property Matrix tenant portal. The tenant portal makes it very easy for tenant to view and sign documents, make payments and upload maintenance requests along with pictures. There are many positive features to mention here. Like many software there some always going to be downsides. In the case of Property Matrix, it is web-based so if their server is down things can run a little slowly or no access at all. While our portfolio of owners/investors is quite challenging, working with the team proved to be very beneficial as the initial set was almost perfect with a couple of minor tweeks. The only disadvantage so far is that we cannot drill down on numbers which the team is currently working on. Property Matrix is not only incredibly easy to maneuver and operate, but it makes even the most tedious or difficult tasks easier, and, if an obstacle arises, the support team is ALWAYS available. I still struggle a tad with the "Reports" section. It can get confusing and I don't always get what I need. What they do offer, though, is templated well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We would have loved for the AP/Vendor feature to be able to send Checks through their system versus us having to print the check. We did not utilize the printing checks feature because we prefer everything done electronically. Would have been great as well for any easier system to send ACH payments through the software. The capabilities of this software are great! We can essentially run our entire rental business from this site! From accounting to marketing to maintenance. The reports are great as well! We are able to run tenant reports that show their individual transactions to help us understand their account. Tenants are also able to go online and make payments as well as submit maintenance tickets. These maintenance tickets are very easy for us to track and keep on top of. We have our maintenance team set up as a vendor so they only have limited access to any unnecessary information. The marketing aspect of Property Matrix is amazing! If you have pictures of your open units you can post to 7 different advertising websites including apartments.com and zillow, all with a click of a button! Customer service could be more timely with their responses. They advertise custom reports but are not always eager to help you build them. We are currently working with them on customizing the online application to mirror what we have on paper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Property Matrix is one of the best rental software. The interface is easy to learn and flexible. Customer support is extremely helpful for even the basic tasks like report generation. You can easily integrate documents such as rental, lease agreement and other packages like credit screening software too.

Property Matrix has all the bells and whistles that we wanted, while still being affordable and easy to operate. Their customer service/support team is outstanding! Implementation of a new software is always troublesome, but their team broke it down, so it wasn't so overwhelming. They are available to answer our plethora of questions via chat, email or phone and have a great set of articles for self-guided help that answer many questions.
