**What do you like best about Placester?**

It's easy to design, you can get creative

**What do you dislike about Placester?**

Lead generation is terrible.  They don't require phone numbers for clients signing up, so the only way to reach new signups is via email.  No way to text or call.  Nobody respond to email, clients respond to calls and texts and Placester fails to require a phone number.  It's a complete waste of money in my opinion, and we won't be re-subscribing unless this feature if added asap.

**What problems is Placester solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it for lead generation, but new users aren't required to give a phone number.  No way to reach out immediately to new signups.

**What do you like best about Placester?**

There really isn't much to like after the horrible customer service I received.

**What do you dislike about Placester?**

Their customer service is atrocious. They will charge you automatically and no discussion or refunds are allowed. They will not send you any notice that you will be charged, they just automatically do it quietly. When you call to question it, they explicitly state they have a no refunds policy. They sure hide that well. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

**What problems is Placester solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They did not solve any problems. I actually received less traffic with their website versus other ones that I've used in the past.

**What do you like best about Placester?**

They listen well and respond even better. I am constantly impressed. They turn tasks and projects around quickly and are always ready to help you with whatever is needed.

**What do you dislike about Placester?**

I don't have anything that I dislike about Placester. My only regret is that I didn't find them 10 years earlier. Placester makes my life better, saving me time to work on building my business and working with clients.

**What problems is Placester solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They built a first-class website for us using the latest technology, which they manage. It means I have much more time to work on my business instead of in it. And, it is far more cost-effective than doing everything yourself.

I was an inexpensive ($1 a month) sort of passive IDX page that was ok; now they suddenly charge $55 a month for the same "ok" website. I never authorized the change.

**What do you dislike about Placester?**

They have horrible support and they basically hope people will not notice their wild price increases

**What problems is Placester solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Never really was a huge benefit, it was cheap and I used it for existing clients and past clients who wanted a fast MLS search without a sign in.

Placester is easy to navigate and you can make a great website without having a lot of knowledge of website creation.

**What do you dislike about Placester?**

Really not anything that I don't like. Placester made it easy to make my website the same day that I became a real estate agent. I had a professional page immediately to start directing people to.

**What problems is Placester solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have resolved the problem of having to create a webpage without really having knowledge of code. I didn't need to hire a company to create my page. Placester has easy to manage directions to create a professional looking page in no time at all.

  ### 6. Not competitive with other companies and will try to walk off with your money

**What do you like best about Placester?**

The price was competitive and slightly lower than other companies.

**What do you dislike about Placester?**

The salesperson seemed knowledgeable upfront, but in the end, they had not been listening to my needs.  When we talked about the mapping feature that I need for my buyers to be able to use, I received three answers.  That made it very confusing on what I would be getting.  Within three days, I had my meeting with the website team.  I had paid for a semi-custom site, but all they had done is put the wrong address in a template and claim they had worked on it.  Placester completed no custom work completed.  A buyer can not do the mapping to select where their desired neighborhood would be like competitors allow.  Placester expected me to draw 89 maps for the potential buyers.  This was not as discussed in our two meetings.

When I requested the cancelation, my salesperson told me I had to do it online.  I canceled the order only to find they intended to keep all of the money.

After an exhausting chat (no, they would not answer the phone), they are still fighting to keep my money.

They took my money and never provided a website.

As soon as we informed you that the option you wanted - the drawable polygon map search tool - was unavailable in Placester, we immediately suggested another solution. When we saw that we couldn't reach a common consensus, we immediately offered to return the setup money.

I have checked the system, and you have received a refund for the semi-custom build setup, which was not completed. You have purchased a monthly-advanced subscription, and the cost of the subscription is not refundable; this is written in our policy which can be found on our website.

**What do you like best about Placester?**

I think the intuitive design and ease of use make the biggest difference for us. As a growing brokerage with a small staff, we're able to easily edit our website while creating a beautiful overall look, as well as do the same for our agents - managed all in one place. Looking at it, you would never know it's a template site.

**What do you dislike about Placester?**

We've worked with Placester for over 6 years now and I can honestly say that even when there have been issues to address, their team is quick to communicate and fix anything that has cropped up.

**What problems is Placester solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, we're finding ways to better scale our business by means of Placester's new Concierge program. This gives us the option to hand some of our marketing efforts over to a team that can be quickly trained, rather than going through the hiring process in hopes we find the right new staff member for our team (not an easy task).

**What do you like best about Placester?**

The price is very affordable and is why I went with the service. They not only offer company websites but the ability for a company to offer agents their own websites and CRM.

**What do you dislike about Placester?**

They never answer the phone when you call

**What problems is Placester solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They keep charging my card for charges not incurred. I recently reached out to your team to advise you that when a customer lead registered on my website you put them automatically into a pending recruit drip email campaign that I set up. This should have not been happening. Instead of fixing the issue and finding out why that happened you all deleted my pending recruit drip email campaign so when I went back in there to add new potential employees to it today it is gone. Every time I turn around there is a new problem now with the site not working correctly.

**What do you like best about Placester?**

The ease of making and posting blogs. The ease to make my searches for clients more precise.

**What do you dislike about Placester?**

The SEO is not what I expected. I fill in all the fields yet I am on page 8 or 9 in search engines search. I also feel that the price is a lot with a minimal SEO. My goal is to attract customers to the site with your SEO. SEO!!!!

I have the site doing well. I had a problem using videos on the pages and needed them to load faster and of good quality. The team helped me with this and it worked.

**What do you like best about Placester?**

Professional look of the website, Easy to Navigate and the ability to customize the site.  The Support team was friendly, efficient and they were easy to work with while building the website. I am very pleased with the end results and look of the website.

**What do you dislike about Placester?**

Search functions that homes displayed as Active and not differentiated from those that are Under Contract or Pending.  The correct status is not in an easy-to-read location, like the front of the listing.  It is within the listing description. Users may miss this and may lead users into thinking the home is Active when in fact, it may be Pending because all Active, Under Contract and Pending sales appear the same on the front of the listings. Placester is taking this feedback and hopefully may institute a fix this year.

See the Dislike statement.  A problem that is also being looking into is the Saved Searches also include Active, Under Contract and Pending without a prominent display of the current listing status.

**What do you like best about Placester?**

The project manager that we worked with went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with the design of our website.  She had lots of ideas as to how we could make our website the most user friendly and easy to navigate.  We would highly recommend Placester for all of the services that they offer.  It is an amazing value for the money.

**What do you dislike about Placester?**

The only thing that caught us off guard a little bit was that all of the work done to our website forced us to pick the highest package plan.  We did not originally go into the process wanting to purchase that plan.  We wanted to ease into it.  Learn more about how to edit the site, analytics, etc.

Highly recommended to anyone that is looking for a website to highlight their business!  Very professional and gives you so much for your money!

I've always developed and maintained my own website. I like how Placester allows me to do this while providing me with a professional platform that looks sharp and professional to the user. As a Realtor, I like how Placester interfaces with the MLS allowing users to search for properties directly from my website.

I would like a little more ability to change my logo, position, move around boxes, etc outside of the template offerings.

By blogging, I am staying top of mind with my followers and increasing visitation length to my website. I can easily post my blogs to social media and link them back to my website.

**What do you like best about Placester?**

Very easy to set-up and customize sites. Very comprehensive menus that include site design, color choices including large co. brands, SEO options, social media accounts, site verifications, site tracking options, and choice of level of visitor engagement. Of course includes a seamless integration of MLS, and multiple accounts with certain plans.

**What do you dislike about Placester?**

I personally received very little leads that actually came thru the site. However, I mostly used it for the purpose of branding and it did work well in that regard.

**Recommendations to others considering Placester:**

Take time to learn the set-up process and how to modify and make changes to your site. Many options available for both individual agents and brokerages.

I used Placester to help establish myself as a luxury real estate agent, and was able to use their website to brand accordingly.

The benefit to Placester's Codeless site is that it allows you to customize so much more than before. It gives us the ability to make our site look nice without needing to know to code.

**What do you dislike about Placester?**

Placester's CRM has always been an issue for our team. It doesn't route leads as it should, and we've had to use other tools to do so.

**What problems is Placester solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Placester gives us a platform to send potential clients to a site that will then route their information to our agents to convert inquiries into sales.

Placester is easy to use and if you just want something up and running quickly, it is a good option.

**What do you dislike about Placester?**

Their IDX do not pull in Sold properties. When I ask their support team why they blame it on the MLS. Which couldn't be further from the truth. The MLS that we work from has the capability to pull sold properties, Placester will not implement it. I manage a marketing company and we currently have six agents on the Placester platform. I will soon move all of them to another solution because of this. 

There have been many times where I asked their support staff to help fix a technical error and they always request more money. I should not have to pay more if the reason I am asking for help is that there is something askew on the platform.

**What do you like best about Placester?**

Placester was the website solution that we needed when we went looking for a new tool to add value to our agents. It's the friendly, helpful service that is simply icing on the cake. For an independent company with 140 agents the service component is important. Not only does their paid service option save our Marketing Department time while serving our agents, it is easy to use and the communication is constant so we always know where our projects stand.

We don't really have any dislikes other than we wish we could use them for more services like an app!

**What problems is Placester solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small company with a small staff so having an extension of our team through Placester's services is vital for our staff to be able to keep up with the growth here. It's a benefit that's priceless.

Going in circles as customer support is not responsive. You will be directed to a call-center with no authority to resolve any issues

Price for a quality looking website that can be accessed on my PC or phone. Easy to use and keep up with my clients. Offering a quality real estate listings search. Great mls search options.

**What do you dislike about Placester?**

I am not able to get anyone to sign up when I run google adds. In the beginning they did not have the platform to log into the CRM on my phone. Now this is available. Support sometimes can take a few days to respond and sometimes they never respond.

You get what you pay for. Support is slow to respond. But the mls search for your clients works great. I think its worth what you pay for.

Offering my agents a website that I can afford. Giving me the ability to keep track of clients who are using the website. Able to share leads with agents

The ease of creating the site! I used the services offered to create the website...I gave her a general idea of what we were looking for, sent her some logos and headshots, and within a few days we had a gorgeous, polished website. Everyone who has looked at our new website has been very impressed with it, and tell us they like it far better than our old website, which was a Wordpress site hosted by Zillow.

**What do you dislike about Placester?**

If I have to nitpick, the only time I have been slightly less than satisfied, was when we switched our email hosting to a different vendor, and I had major difficulties updating the redirects to make it worth with Placester. I placed a call to customer service and was told that only my designated liaison could help me, and they promised to have him call me. I eventually had to reach out to him myself to get assistance, and as a result our website was down for about 4 hours. However, this was primarily my fault and could have been prevented by my reaching out to him before I pulled the trigger on the email provider.

**What problems is Placester solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were forced to switch to a different web hosting service when Zillow informed us they were discontinuing their hosted Wordpress sites in January 2021. After conducting several days worth of research, we opted for Placester and found the transition process to be very smooth, and fairly seamless. Additionally, since switching to Placester, we have seen an increase in website usage. We have also gotten far more leads from this website using the integrated CRM and have actually converted a couple of them to active clients. The built-in CRM has also been incredibly helpful in helping us track leads, and ensure we follow up consistently. The other benefit of Placester is the ease of scaling. As our team has grown, it has proven much easier than I thought it would to add agent pages and update the website photos, etc.

As soon as you launch your website, it's like they completely forget about you. There were a lot of errors on our site such as all our Sold Listings were under one agent name, our open houses were just a copy of ALL our listings, the contact forms couldn't be differentiated so you didn't know if your lead was interested in a property, or interested in becoming an agent, etc. You have to manually enter all the housing IDs for the open houses and sold listings to your creative assistant which is way too tedious. I've tried calling Placester, it always goes to voicemail. I've left a voicemail, and no one has called me back. Also, we are a brokerage so on all of our listings I wanted to list our agents' contact information so leads can directly contact the realtor for the property they're interested in. Placester does not have that feature... I do not recommend this platform to anyone.
