"Highly Customizable & Helps Keep You Organized"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Pipedrive?

Ability to keep a data base that is highly searchable of all clients. Customized fields. Automations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pipedrive?

Lack of ability to hide "canned" fields. Lack of flexibility with reports/dashboard. You have to create a filter for each type of record. Labels are not consistent across records. You have to export data to Excel to analyse. Lack of ability to query data with AI - you have to export results to Excel and use another AI tool to build analysis, query statistics, etc. We do a semi-annual analysis on our clients demographics, services they use, retention, etc. We cannot do this within Pipedrive. We need executive data analysis and reporting of client demographics, service usage, retention, etc. That said, we don't use your platform true to it's purpose. We don't consider the last stage as a deal was closed. Instead, we use your platform to track leads, sales and IN PROGRESS service after a deal was won, and then when we ended a service agreement or completed the client's project. We wish Pipedrive allowed for flexibility to allow us to track data for "IN PROGRESS WON" deals - not just closed deals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jorge R. of Pipedrive

Hi,

Thank you for the detailed feedback.

We’re glad Pipedrive gives you a highly searchable client database with customised fields and automations, and works as the main hub for your clients, services and sales.

We’re also noting your comments about hiding standard fields, report and dashboard flexibility, inconsistent labels, analysing data without exporting to Excel or using AI, and tracking in-progress won deals, and we’ll share your comments with the relevant teams.

Best regards,

Pipedrive Team

"It's been helpful to track my leads and conversions."
4/5
What do you like best about Pipedrive?

My favorite part about Pipedrive is the ability to keep track of my leads and the ability to set follow up tasks to keep in touch with them. The automations are also a HUGE help with keeping up my member retention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pipedrive?

The thing I struggle with the most is keeping track of my regular email inbox. Not ALL of my emails need to be tracked with pipedrive, so I end up using my regular email more instead of staying in touch through pipedrive. Sometimes this leads me to lose track of my official tracking because I'm already doing it manually in my inbox. I don't always remember to come back to check off tasks or set new ones. It would be helpful to have a connection built into my gmail to be able to see tasks or set tasks in both locations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jorge R. of Pipedrive

Hi Blair,

Thank you for the detailed feedback.

We’re glad Pipedrive helps you track leads and members, set follow-up tasks, and use automations to support member retention without relying on a spreadsheet.

We’re also noting your comments about juggling your regular inbox alongside Pipedrive and your suggestion for a Gmail connection to see and set tasks in both places, and we’ll share your comments with the relevant teams.

Best regards,

"A feature-rich CRM with a clean, intuitive interface and a fast pace of new development."
4/5
What do you like best about Pipedrive?

The interface is clean and uncluttered. What also stands out is the pace of development: new features are released regularly, and they tend to be practical improvements rather than gimmicks. On top of that Pipedrive is very open and allows us to connect to different systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pipedrive?

My main criticism concerns the level of administrative control. As an admin, I have very little say over what users install: anyone can add third-party apps from the marketplace or connect external AI tools without any approval step, and there is no way for me to restrict or even properly monitor this. From a data protection and security perspective that is a real concern, especially when you are handling client data.

The second point is the enforcement of required fields. Mandatory fields are far too easy for users to bypass – on contact level in particular they are not consistently displayed or visually flagged, so people simply do not notice them. The result is incomplete data that we then have to clean up afterwards. Proper, visible enforcement across all entity levels would save a lot of administrative effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jorge R. of Pipedrive

Hi,

Thank you for the detailed feedback.

We’re glad the clean interface, regular practical feature releases and open integrations work well for you, and that the pipeline view gives your team a clear shared overview of sales activities.

We’re also noting your concerns about admin control over third-party apps and external AI tools, and the visibility and enforcement of required fields, and we’ll share your comments with the relevant teams.

"Elite CRM with a standout pipeline view, but some features aren’t as intuitive"
4/5
What do you like best about Pipedrive?

I love the visual pipeline. It’s by far one of Pipedrive’s biggest advantages over other CRMs. It just has a better pipeline view, it’s that simple. I also need to be able to seamlessly manage my contacts in an organized and understandable way, send them emails quickly and easily, and apply those contacts to a pipeline so I can move deals forward and make more money. Workflow automation has saved some time in moving contacts forward in the pipeline and reminders about follow ups. The AI has been helpful when I need information/data fast but don’t know where to find it, and it’s sometimes useful for helping me stay on top of my deals better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pipedrive?

I’ve had some challenges because I don’t think some of these features are as intuitive as they could be for a CRM that is otherwise elite. Also, the AI hasn’t been as helpful in revenue generating moments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jorge R. of Pipedrive

Hi,

Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback!

We’re glad to hear that the visual pipeline is helping you manage deals, contacts, and follow-ups more effectively. It’s also great to know that workflow automation and reminders are saving you time, while AI is helping you quickly find information and stay on top of your deals.

We appreciate your feedback about some features not feeling as intuitive as they could be, as well as your experience with AI in revenue-generating moments. We understand how important it is for these tools to be both easy to use and valuable in day-to-day sales activities, and we’ll share your comments with the relevant teams.

"Good CRM that keeps improving"
4/5
What do you like best about Pipedrive?

I have found Pipedrive to be reliable, intuitive, and very easy to use. The user interface is straightforward and well designed, so there is very little learning curve compared with other CRM platforms.

I also regularly use the email campaign feature, which has been consistently reliable and easy to manage. Overall, Pipedrive provides the functionality I need without unnecessary complexity, making it an effective tool for managing both customer relationships and email communications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pipedrive?

The importing and exporting features could be significantly improved. It can be challenging to import or export data in the specific formats needed, which adds unnecessary complexity when managing email lists and preparing reports. Greater flexibility and a more intuitive process for working with data would make Pipedrive considerably more effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jorge R. of Pipedrive

Hi Jessica,

Thank you for the detailed feedback.

We’re glad Pipedrive is reliable, intuitive and easy to use, that the email campaigns work well, and that the mobile app helps you stay productive while travelling.

We’re also noting your comments about the importing and exporting features and the difficulty working with the data formats you need, and we’ll share your comments with the relevant teams.

"Good system with a very well laid out deal view and good support to match."
4/5
What do you like best about Pipedrive?

Besides liking the overall look of how deals are presented, Pipedrive has three things that drew us towards it. A full working email inbox that links to deals and contacts with those emails also being inside the deals and contacts. Rotting deals highlights deals in the pipeline that have not been updated for a set period of time and that time can be set per swimlane. Lastly, each tile in the swimlane shows if an activity is pending, due or past. It's been really helpful for users that may not be the best at know what to do next. Theres also a good contacts timeline and a new meeting recording feature is baked in as of this week which looks very promising and is included in the plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pipedrive?

Communication about deals needs improvements including some browser notifications. There is a notes feature that works well as a communication method with user mentions but then the user is notified only in Pipedrive web. If that browser is not in the foreground, you will likely miss the notification. Notifications do show through the Pipedrive mobile app notification and if you use Slack or Teams you can see a notification as well but that takes you away from where you are working, the web browser. The biggest issue though is that even if the intended user sees the notification in the browser, when looking at a deal, comments are collapsed by default and users are likely to miss the response. Secondly, a Smart Doc feature for quotes, proposals and anything an organization would need eSigned is done well, however, there is no way to save the esigned fields with the template, receivers claim they do not receive the doc because it comes from Pipedrive and when the receiving party does receive the docs, there is a scary warning that opens about being tracked making the whole smart docs process mostly unhelpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jorge R. of Pipedrive

Hi,

Thank you for the detailed feedback.

We’re glad the deal presentation, email inbox, rotting deals, activity indicators, contacts timeline and new meeting recording feature are working well, and that Pipedrive gives you a single source of truth for your team’s deals.

We’re also noting your concerns about browser notifications, collapsed comments on deals, and the Smart Docs eSigning experience, and we’ll share your comments with the relevant teams.

"Easy to use CRM"
4/5
What do you like best about Pipedrive?

I love how easy it is to add/adjust custom filters. It also has a UI that isn't too intimidating to employees who aren't very tech savvy. It's also easy to set up APIs with our primary sales platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pipedrive?

Managing contacts can be fairly difficult. Our primary contacts are often IT Consultants who manage many different, unrelated businesses. The fact that people can only be linked to a single organization is incredibly frustrating for us. We have to create fake organizations to represent the person so we can link their managed orgs to them, and then we end up with hundreds of duplicate persons. It also makes managing emails very difficult since we never know which person/org an email chain might sync to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jorge R. of Pipedrive

Hi Samantha,

Thank you for the detailed feedback.

We’re glad the custom filters, approachable interface and easy API setup work well for your team, and that Pipedrive gives you visibility into customer communications in one place.

We’re also sorry that people can only be linked to a single organization, which leads to workarounds, duplicate persons and confusing email syncing; we’ll share your comments with the relevant teams.

"Pipedrive is great for managing tasks and sales flows"
4/5
What do you like best about Pipedrive?

The UI is very fluid and easy to drag, drop and move around within my pipeline stages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pipedrive?

Sometimes I forget to save a note, particularly if I get interrupted, which means I have to go back and write it all again. An auto-save feature for notes would be really useful to prevent anything from being lost. I’d also love the option to right-click on an entry and assign it a colour that’s only visible to me. This would make it much easier to colour-code my cases and visually organise my workflow throughout the day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jorge R. of Pipedrive

Hi,

Thank you for the detailed feedback.

We’re glad the drag-and-drop pipeline and having your notes, customer information and follow-ups in one place help you stay organised and manage your cases.

We’re also noting your suggestions for auto-saving notes and personal colour-coding of entries, and we’ll share your comments with the relevant teams.

"Great CRM with low learning curve but scope for improvement"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Pipedrive?

Easy to learn from a front end and back end perspective. The interface is not overwhelming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pipedrive?

The rigidity or lack of flexibility and simple features that have been overlooked. For example, you cannot schedule a certain report to be emailed to team members at a fixed interval. The duplicate flagging and merging is flimsy - orgs with exactly the same name can be created without being flagged as duplicate.

The report design feature is rigid - you HAVE to start with a certain type of report which includes certain restrictions in which fields you can pull in to the report. An ideal scenario would be us being able to start a completely blank report that can be taken into any direction based on the need. The AND and OR operators cannot be used freely between filters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jorge R. of Pipedrive

Hi Animesh,

Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback!

We’re glad to hear that you find Pipedrive easy to learn from both the front-end and back-end perspectives, and that the interface feels clear without being overwhelming. It’s also great to know that Pipedrive is helping with deal management, progress tracking, forecasting, reporting, and maintaining historical and contact data.

We appreciate your detailed feedback about reporting flexibility, scheduled reports, duplicate management, and filter logic. We understand how greater flexibility in building reports and managing data could make Pipedrive more adaptable to different workflows. Your specific examples are valuable, and we’ll share your comments with the relevant teams.

"Streamlined experience"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Pipedrive?

We run our entire sales pipeline in Pipedrive and what works best is how visual and fast it is. Moving a deal from one stage to the next takes a second, and the whole team sees the same picture without having to ask for a status update. Setting up custom fields and a second pipeline took me an afternoon, with no help from a consultant. Email sync and activity reminders also mean very little falls through the cracks, which matters when sales cycles run over several months Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pipedrive?

Reporting is the weak spot for us. Anything beyond the standard dashboards quickly hits a wall, and exporting to a spreadsheet is often faster than fighting with the filters. A few things we actually rely on, like the more advanced automations and granular permissions, only come with the higher plans, so what you end up paying is well above what the entry tier suggests Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jorge R. of Pipedrive

Hi Charles,

Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback!

We’re glad to hear that Pipedrive’s visual pipeline, customization options, email sync, and activity reminders help your team stay aligned and keep deals moving forward. It’s great to know that having all your opportunities, contacts, and next steps in one place has made your sales reviews more efficient and improved follow-up consistency.

We also appreciate your feedback about reporting limitations, plan-dependent features, and overall costs. We understand how important flexible reporting and transparent pricing are as your sales processes grow, and we’ll share your comments with the relevant teams.

Best regards,

Pipedrrive Team
