**What do you like best about Pipe17?**

Works well for simple order routing, updating inventory on sales channels and updating sales channels with tracking information etc. It handles kits very well. Notifications are customizable and work great. It's great to see the events and help us pinpoint the problems. (although sometimes the event shows "acknowledged" but in reality there as an issue that needed to be fixed) Pipe17's UI is intuitive

**What do you dislike about Pipe17?**

Update: 2025-07-07: Pipe17 seemed like a promising alternative to Celigo and FarApp to integrate Amazon and Shopify to Netsuite at first, but it became just like the alternatives: too expensive, lock you in long contracts, full of bugs and poor support. The subscription we paid went up by 128% in less than 2 years with less customer support service as they started charging for "Enterprise Support" which was not a thing when we signed up. Overall would not recommend if you plan on connecting an ERP to it, but might work well and be reasonably priced for just order routing, just be careful of price increases.

Update 2024-05-06: Pipe17's customer support has been better in the last year. The system still work great and does what it's supposed to. Support (Enterprise support level) is inconsistent, sometimes we get a reply within a day and other times a month. We've had some tickets open for 4 months with no solution and no orders from a sales channel showing in our ERP, for 4 months. You're left alone to figure out the bugs and fix them most of the time. Same for mappings, they'll help you set those up in the implementation phase, but you'll have to figure it out yourself if you want to add integrations or modify existing ones. Pipe17 does not support bins which is an issue if you fulfill from your WMS. You get an exception and must manually click the fulfill button and select the correct bin in the ERP. Refunds and partial refunds do not get updated in the ERP. The status of a "canceled" order does not get updated in the ERP. Item fulfilment in the ERP often have the wrong location, which messes up the inventory, and a consequence of that is overselling certain items. Overall, the system probably works great if you're not using an ERP, but if you are, consider this app's current limitations the service level which might not be an issue if you have a system administrator and costs and compare them with alternatives.

**What do you like best about Pipe17?**

It was incredibly easy and quick to setup built the in connectors for Shopify, Loop, and other platforms directly to our ERP. The out of the box connectors, coupled with the order routing capabilities, allow anyone on our team to create and modify rules without needing any development. Pipe17's implementation support team mapped all of our rules and trained our team how to recreate them ourselves on the fly.

**What do you dislike about Pipe17?**

Accessing Documentation which is not housed inside the platform takes a few extra steps to get to.

**What problems is Pipe17 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pipe17 was initially onboarded to replace our outdated middleware but we quickly realized we could accomplish so much more. We are strengthening rules for order routing across multiple distribution centers that will reduce transit times, reduce split shipments and ultimately save our company money. We are also utilizing the data connections to true up our financial reporting to expedite period closing processes.

**What do you like best about Pipe17?**

Pipe17 is the most intuitive, customizable middleware and order management software I've stood up. Not only are the out-of-the-box configurations attuned to all of our platforms, Pipe17 employs systems architects who are familiar with what might need to be customized.

**What do you dislike about Pipe17?**

Only downside is that they aren't the industry leader.

We no longer have to consult multiple spreadsheets and a magic 8-ball to know if we can sell inventory on a particular sales channel.

**What do you like best about Pipe17?**

As someone without a technical background, I can confidently say that Pipe17 is the best integrator or middleware I’ve ever used. It has become an essential part of our operations across multiple sales channels. We've set up several workflows connecting our marketplaces, ERP, and 3PL, and thanks to Pipe17’s incredibly helpful team, everything was implemented smoothly and continues to run with minimal maintenance.

What truly sets Pipe17 apart is how user-friendly it is when it comes to tracking data flow and resolving issues. If something goes wrong, the system provides clear, plain-language error messages—no code involved—making it easy to identify and fix problems without needing technical expertise.

**What do you dislike about Pipe17?**

Not exactly a downside—but Pipe17 has so many capabilities that I often find myself diving into a new implementation just when I think we’re done. Every time we wrap up one project, we discover another way they can help automate and improve our processes. And off we go again!

Before using Pipe17, syncing orders and inventory across different platforms was time-consuming and prone to errors. The biggest benefit is increased operational efficiency—orders flow smoothly from sales channels to fulfillment without constant intervention. Flexible solution for a variety of our data needs.  We started with a simple API connection to Marketplaces and have evolved into inventory management and EDI solutions as well.

**What do you dislike about Pipe17?**

A little complicated to set up but staff is very helpful on this side to help us whenever we are implementing a new feature.

Pipe 17 helps us manage our order flow from several Marketplaces and enables us to share inventory across channels.  This is beneficial as it helps us to maintain accurate inventory at all times.

Capable of handling a wide variety of data sources and connections. Implementation support team is amazing.

**What do you dislike about Pipe17?**

The system does not appear polished. Tables can't be sorted, exports don't match tables, orders not syncing, etc. Also,  it's expensive. We've become increasingly concerned about it's ability to handle subtantial order volumen.

P17 is serving is the central hub for our retail order data pipelines between our front end carts, Amazon, NetSuite and our 3PL WMS.

**What do you like best about Pipe17?**

I have worked with a lot of connector apps and customer service is usually poor. But everyone at Pipe17 is prompt to respond to issues and is solution-oriented. They don't just send templated responses, they actually read what we send them and reply with helpful information. I feel like that is rare these days, and I've loved working with everyone at Pipe17!

**What do you dislike about Pipe17?**

This is less a dislike, and more a disclaimer - Pipe17 can be more pricey than some connectors, but it does work well which I can't say about all the other connectors we tried first.

**What problems is Pipe17 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to connect our Shopify to TikTok, but because we had multiple inventory locations we couldn't do it via the native Shopify/TikTok app. We needed a third-party connector, which is why we went with Pipe17.

**What do you like best about Pipe17?**

Pipe17 helps my company feed Target and Chewy orders through to my warehouse. They are really responsive and creative problem solvers. Although parts of the implementation were trickier than expected when spec'ing the project, they saw the job through and always ensured that everything was working 100%.

**What do you dislike about Pipe17?**

I don't have any major complaints. There were a couple times when a code update threw things off a bit, but that happens and it was dealt with very promptly. Positives far outweigh any negatives.

Our warehouse does not have a relationship / connection with our EDI provider, so Pipe17 is acting as that intermediary.

- Automated, rule-based order routing. Orders can be routed based on a variety of criteria, such as inventory availability, SKU and order tags. 
- Powerful inventory management features, such as inventory buffer, and virtual bundle. 
- Integration with Amazon MCF and Shopify. Seamless, efficient, and transparent for troubleshooting.

There are times when Pipe17 couldn't accommodate use cases that are unique to our company. However, the Pipe17 team is generally helpful in assisting us in finding workarounds. In addition, new features and bug fixes are constantly introduced to the UI, showing that the Pipe17 team does embrace user feedback.

**What problems is Pipe17 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a capable middle layer between our storefronts and fulfillment providers.  We wanted to automate and streamline order routing, and minimize the amount of time dealing with individual orders. We were pleasantly surprised by granularity of order and inventory status, and the level of automation we could achieve with Pipe17.

It is empowering to integrate a solution that works great in the short term & the long term. Pipe17 helped me manage orders, connections & they also understood my vision, which they ultimately provided excellent support for & assistance with.

It took me time to understand how the locations worked within the dashboard, but this was more of a learning curve on my end to adapt to how their logistics unfolded.

Pipe17 has a wide range of features that help business operations take control of their business from their vendors.  For example, the order routing engine gives us optionality that our competitors likely do not have and we would not have just by going through our 3PLs.

**What do you dislike about Pipe17?**

The platforms continues to grow so I have not been keeping up with all the use cases available. Small update quirks along the way as a user going on 2+ yeasr now but nothing too serious.

Primarily order routing.  We have a range of 3PLs with multiple warehouses nationwide and internationally. Pipe17 helps us route orders as cost-effectively as possible.

I have no complaints at the moment. It's been a year since our company started using Pipe17, and the difference was immediately noticed.

**What do you like best about Pipe17?**

The software is easy to use for non technical people, making it possible for us to monitor the status of our orders at a glance.  Pipe 17 has been able to create new connections, specifically for our needs (i.e. to a new 3PL) efficiently and timely.  Most of all, Pipe 17 is always open to feedback and the team has been a pleasure to work with.

**What do you dislike about Pipe17?**

Pipe 17 is relatively new, so the software evolves and we may not always immediately know as new features are introduced.  In addition, Pipe 17 hasn't had the capability to ingest EDI orders; however, they are working on that for us!

**What problems is Pipe17 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pipe 17 allows us to route eCommerce orders to our retail stores so that we can sell down to the last unit of inventory.  In addition,  Pipe 17 is the source for sending orders from both Shopify and Amazon Seller Central to our 3PL and provides the fulfillment information from the 3PL back to Shopify and Amazon.  We also use Pipe 17 to monitor the status of orders with our 3PL and determine if they are hitting SLAs or falling behind.

**What do you like best about Pipe17?**

We rely on Pipe17 to get our Shopify orders over to Amazon MCF both for the US and Canada. Pipe17 is more than a fast, robust, reliable app, It's a professional service that's responsive to our needs. Chris, Dave and the team there are always available to help us get the most out of the platform. This cannot be overstated: when customer shipments are on the line, you need a team of people who treat your business as they would their own. We have that in Pipe17.

**What do you dislike about Pipe17?**

Sometimes the buttons and settings in the platform do feel like they're set up for an engineer. This can introduce a bit of a learning curve, but it also ensures that there is a  high level of precision and customizability. I also think a robust mobile app would bring this review from a 9 to a 10.

**What problems is Pipe17 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pipe17 connects our systems and routes our orders.  We use it to get order details over from Shopify to Amazon MCF (Multi-Channel Fulfillment) where they're filled quickly and accurately.

**What do you like best about Pipe17?**

Pipe17 has been hands down the most elegant and easy solution to automating our order fulfillment between our Shopify store and Amazon inventory. 

The software also makes it super easy to set up bundled product fulfillment which was a big pain point for our team. Once you've setup your products and fulfillment settings, their system handles the rest. Our fulfillment pipeline is now fully automated and I no longer have to worry about managing fulfillment and order routing. 

Their support has also been second to none!

Definitely recommend this app!

Honestly, nothing I've come across to dislike at this point!

**What problems is Pipe17 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business deals with Various bundled products, and we initially didn't have a streamlined way to send the fulfillment request of those products to our Amazon warehouse.

Pipe17 made setting up bundled products in their system a breeze, and also tracks and updates our Shopify store with multiple tracking URLs if Amazon ends up splitting the shipment of those bundled products!

**What do you like best about Pipe17?**

The onboarding process with Pipe17 was very smooth - within one call, we were almost entirely operational, connecting our Shopify store with Amazon. We had a few SKUs that weren’t connecting, and the support team responded immediately to smooth that out. Also, the Pipe17 UI is fantastic; I was able to set up bundles without any support in a couple of hours. Now we are fully flowing and rarely have to intervene with any orders.

**What do you dislike about Pipe17?**

I only have amazing things to say about this company, one of our best partners. The only hiccup was with some of the Shopify settings with which the Pipe17 team was less familiar, and we had to work on our own. These were easy fixes and worked themselves out shortly.

We needed to connect our Shopify store with Amazon MCF. Pipe17 has by far the best UI of any software out there. We initially tried with Codisto and were completely lost.

Pipe 17 is used for integrating e-commerce platform for intelligent automations. Pipe 17 integration was seamless with API and the onboarding was smooth with the company team members

One thing that would have been done better is the API parameters where we are unable to do a customization based on the requirements of our team but still I feel that would have been customized as offering better

**What do you like best about Pipe17?**

Their customer support is unparalleled. They respond so quickly its almost like texting. Plus they help you solve complex solutions almost as good as having on operations manager at your fingertips.

**What do you dislike about Pipe17?**

Honestly haven't encountered anything yet. I don't love their contract lengths honestly. Would be dope if they had month-to-month plans but the value is amazing. That being said their dev team rolled out a new feature for me over the weekend.

**What problems is Pipe17 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are helping me split orders among multiple warehouses/wms systems which is an exceptionally weird edge case. I went through multiple order management systems before finding Pipe17 and they are the only ones who could pull it off.

**What do you like best about Pipe17?**

It is a one-stop solution to manage inventory and orders across multiple e-commerce places without a steep learning curve. There is currently no one in the market who comes as close to Pipe17 in this regards.

**What do you dislike about Pipe17?**

The pricing is slightly higher particularly for Asian countries like India because of the exchange rate. Pipe17 could consider having different pricing models for different economies.

**What problems is Pipe17 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pipe17 allowed me to manage different e-commerce platforms in one go, keep track of inventory, orders required without needing to tally across multiple e-commerce dashboards thus reducing chances of errors.

1) There technology saves me time and money
2) SLA levels is great
3) In addition, I am very impressed by all the in-person interactions I with team members (including client success managers and technologists)

No downsides.  They've continued to excel even as they've experienced growth

As a 3PL, our customers need help with exploring more sales channels.  Since Pipe17 links to our API, we can offer to our customers all connections they build.

**What do you like best about Pipe17?**

Very quick integration time and quick response times from Pipe17 support teams. The interface is well thought out. Managing inventory buffers, bundles and integration settings are straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Pipe17?**

Pipe17 is a relatively new product and doesn't have all the connectors a more mature product may have. However, if they have the connections you need, I highly recommend them. I'm sure new connections will continue to be added.

**What problems is Pipe17 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Order management from multiple e-commerce stores to multiple 3PL providers in different states and countries. Also, inventory buffering and KIT SKU management. Increased flexibility for our stores and speed of team execution.

Focused on customer-orientated & very high problem-solving capacities. Easy going team, pleasant to work with. They know their ways through complex systems.

I don't have any complaints so far, they were helpful and they did their job properly.

They connected our Inventory Management System with a Fulfilment Service, creating an integration that wasn't available.
