I had tried perceptif insight and found it as a unique concept of visualizing my data.

If you are having a data which is not organised and you are looking for gaining process knowledge then perceptif insight will be a great help.you need to upload .CSV file which will contain your data.It is necessary to have a time stamp on each process step.Process explorer feature analyse the data and and it's AI creates the process flow automatically.Also it will calculate the time taken in each process step.You will no longer need power point or other software for making the process flow chart.

It is solving a major problem,It is not needed to visit station to station and interview or observe each process step.No manipulation of facts or manual intervention.The catch is your time stamping method should be accurate and data should come from a reliable source.

Process will be carried out multiple times (customer orders,product manufacturing) it is not possible to complete the process in exactly same time.Here another feature which is variant explorer help out.you will get all the process data explored and you can check the variance in the process it will take all the process variance by time and provide report on distribution of each case.Process variation can be identified and bottle neck events can be determined.

Throughput time calculation is also calculated.it can also be calculated on statistical bases mean,median etc.

Not much ,but you may find data arrangement bit tricky as you need to align your data with their unique concept of case and event relation with timestamping.This might not work in some cases and you need to discuss with team for more help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like the problem that it solves - having been a part of several process mapping initiatives in big companies in the past, I know the manual effort required to interview stakeholders to understand existing processes, who is responsible for them, and what blockers exist. Even after this huge investment, I would often end up with biased views and oversimplified explanations that missed out on parts of the process and didn't account for exceptions and edge cases.

This is why I think the Process Explorer is a great feature of the Perceptif Insights app – it's very dynamic, powerful, and insightful. It shows users the most common path of a process and how long each step takes. Users can also identify the most efficient one in the Variant Explorer, analyze it and eventually replicate it in practice. This variant analysis feature can be a powerful tool for any business where there is ambiguity as to how processes are carried out, as it helps understand any process quickly and easily. I found it most helpful for identifying bottlenecks and drilling down to understand the other attributes of the bottle-necked events, such as which employees/offices take the longest to complete tasks, etc. This gives great insight into the kind of training and other adjustments needed to improve processes.

I also think the entire app looks amazing - the colors are in sync, the fonts are suitable and the impression it gives is of a stylish, modern app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some features still need enhancements to take the app to the level of sophistication of some of the big players in this field.

I also found it slightly challenging to use only a .csv log event files, where it could have been nice to support .xes formats too.

Finally, I would also recommend providing some form of intelligent insights that will make sense of process maps in cases where they are quite complicated for the user to grasp. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find the system really easy to use. Importing data is not something that you would require a specialist to do. The UI is intuitive so you don't get lost moving around between different areas of the system.

For me, the value is that it's easy to identify bottlenecks and focus areas in your process and also the amount of time that it saves you. As opposed to trolling through convoluted raw data, the data is visualized in a way that you can explore it.

In terms of speed the performance is also good, you don't need to wait half an hour for your data to import. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
