And licensing cost is high compared to other products in market. Pega feels burdensome, dogmatic, and relentlessly process-logical, and it isn’t particularly tolerant of deviation. If you’re looking to build a fast prototype, you’ve come to the wrong place. In my view, it’s best used for company orchestration where the cost of failure is very high. It also makes sense when you need to handle complex decisioning logic across legacy systems. If all you need is a simple data-entry application, you should look elsewhere. **What do you dislike about Pega Platform?** The customization of the UI in the Cosmos system of design is infuriatingly strict. Although the common structure makes upgrading compatible, attempting to make the display pixel-for-pixel and customized to the consumer's appearance means battling the structure.
