**What do you like best about OneSignal?**

I use OneSignal for my client's Logistic Web Application where I create web push notifications via the API to send notifications to drivers alerting them when a customer has paid for the package. The notification alerts the driver to perform the delivery.

**What do you dislike about OneSignal?**

Documentation can be a bit better, it was a little difficult to wrap my head around all the different features just to find the one I need.

Helps drivers stay informed about pending deliveries without having to check emails

OneSignal is incredibly user-friendly and offers a wide range of customization options. It has allowed us to send quick, effective notifications to our users, significantly improving retention and engagement. Highly recommended for any app!

What I didn't like much is that, at first, I struggled a bit to access the SDK in Flutter, but after that, everything was fine.

The problems it has solved in my project include improving the delivery of push notifications to users, which has increased app retention and allowed for more effective communication with our audience. Additionally, the integration was smooth, and the technical support was always available to assist when needed.

I recently joined this platform after I got to know about it from a friend of mine, this platform is the best for upcoming engineers and devs. It gives them a chance to publish their projects on a nice level scale for further improvements.

**What do you like best about OneSignal?**

If you ever used any CRM tool and have setup journeys, automations and audiences, you'll find it pretty easy to get a hang of OneSignal. It's pretty straightforward to use and gives a lot of fliexibility to setup mobile pushes and in-app banners, even if you have close to zero knowledge about CRM. I've been delegating OneSignal related tasks to junior staff and in a week or two they've been flying with little to no supervision. 

I was able to setup automated messages, sign-up and retention journeys with such ease. And even better: I could see the impact of each action week over week.

OneSignal also has a lot of integrations, which helps with in-depth analytics and with setting up cohorts with our CDP platform. It definetely became a daily tool for customer engagement and retention in our platofrm.

**What do you dislike about OneSignal?**

Only thing I actually miss in OneSignal is the ability to post a webhook in any other platform that fires a push notification through OneSignal (right now I can only use webhooks to send information out of OneSignal). And maybe a bit more flexibility on dynamic content (being able to fetch content from a source would be great)

**What problems is OneSignal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OneSignal mainly helped us guide new users through our app and later driving them back to our app if they stay away for too long. The impact of the journeys we've setup was huge.

It is the simplest push sending engine. The connection is very simple and soon we will go with our own custom designs.

**What do you dislike about OneSignal?**

APIs to obtain report data are missing. You can only get a CSV from the admin.

Today I have to save states in local storage and I have no way of knowing which notifications are opened by the users, and I can't mark their states without having a report of that information.

**What do you like best about OneSignal?**

The documentation is mostly good (better than competitors), and the support is very helpful. I have requested help from support on multiple times and they have always been proactive. Setup was easier than other options, like Firebase.

Furthermore, the UI is good enough for non-technical users to design in-app messages.

Pricing is reasonable.

**What do you dislike about OneSignal?**

Although the integration is mostly easy, there was some difficulty with integration when it came to adding more than one Notification Service Extension (NSE) when there is more than one build version of the app. Support were helpful with this, though, and it ended up not being necessary for us to even use multiple NSEs at all (for our use case).

Although the documentation is mostly good, there are some things that need to be improved, for example the migration guide for the latest major version upgrade misses some key information like needing to replace the swift code that we use for OneSignal with a slightly modified one, and the readme is just a doc on github and not a thorough page on their docs site, which they did for the previous migration guide.

Reliable targeting and sending of push notifications to users, and creation and segmentation of in-app messages for users.

**What do you like best about OneSignal?**

What I like most as an ios engineer using OneSignal in their app is the ability to find my device (the one that I use for testing) and see what segments are active on my device. It's also easy to send test notifications to my device when I'm testing our push notification.

**What do you dislike about OneSignal?**

Setting a tag was confusing at first. Because if I want to turn ON a tag, I need to send the tag with a 'true' value, and when turning it off, I assumed I should just delete the tag, but instead, I have to send the tag with a 'false' value. But once these tags are setup properly, it's all good. These tags were used in our app to "subscribe" a user to a particular "topic/notification," and then, they can receive such topic/notifications if they have subscribed to it.

The Push Notification, and In-app Messaging. We use OneSignal to send notifications to our users, and also send messages / promotions in-app, or even surveys. It's very useful for use to get user feedback. I am not from Marketing Team, but I coordinate with them a lot, since they are the ones who decide what events, tags to use and when to trigger them. It helps us raise our app engagement, and get feedback from the users by simply using the app.

I like the browser notifications they publish. When I publish a blog, I can send notifications to subscribed customers simultaneously. This will increase customer stickiness and greatly improve the number of return visits to my website.

I'm not particularly proficient in English. During the setup phase, I used the browser's built-in translator, but this caused onesignal to crash. It was extremely difficult for me to use it for the first time.

OneSignal has an east set up process that integrates with our Wordpress blog, making it no more than a click of a button to send out notifications to contacts who turn on push notifications in their browser. We can also track how many new people enable notifications for our site and how often people are clicking through, making it easy to track performance and to give us another way to engage with blog readers to help drive them to lead status.

**What do you dislike about OneSignal?**

Some of the free account features are a bit limited but if you're looking to simply try this tool out on your site, it offers enough for you evaluate the other elements it offers too.

**What problems is OneSignal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We get a pretty significant amount of blog traffic to our site that doesn't always engage with on-page CTAs or enroll directly into our newsletter sign up. Since this is enabled through the user's browser, we're able to take advantage of the notification option to help re-engage readers who may have not converted directly. As part of our strategy this helps us notify existing leads as well as potential leads about new relevant content we're sharing on our blog.

**What do you like best about OneSignal?**

It is very easy to integrate. I just started Mobile App development and the easiest part was OneSignal. Customer Support 10/10 because I can filter my customers and send notifications to the relevant audience with the right message in the most professional way. I send notifications to all my users twice a day. I liked Ease of Implementation very much. I also examined a few well-known notification sending servers, but I think the best one in terms of "Ease of Use" is OneSignal.

**What do you dislike about OneSignal?**

Currently, I do not want the photos I added to the user when sending notifications. But I will handle it. I'm reading the documentation :)

**What problems is OneSignal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves time and money as it is the fastest and easiest server for remote push notifications.

There is a bit of a gap between the free tier and the next one. I would be nice to have either a little more on the free tier, or a larger alottment of emails on the next one, or a lower priced tier between the 2.

We used OneSIgnal in an app for a very large client in Brazil. It helps us primarily with converting customers who do not complete their registration, but also in various moments when creating incentive and customer loyalty campaigns.

Nothing to dislike, but it could use some UX improvements.

During years, we have worked with OneSignal's push notifications festures, and it has been a success. Beyond how well the product has worked for us, I want to highlight the good rapport and effort of their Customer Success team in understanding the issues or challenges that customers like us present. Specifically, I would like to commend Italo Zunino. Firstly, Italo always seeks to understand the business and explore possible avenues for collaboration. This is evident in the questions he asks at the end of the discussion about the business. Secondly, the proposals he makes always adapt to the volume or circumstances of the business. It has truly been a pleasure to work with him, and in our case, the success of our continued collaboration with OneSignal is thanks to him.

I have been using OneSignal for a few months and I am very satisfied with their service. Google Chrome Web Push Notification fast, smooth. and also multiple site in one panel.

Web Push Subscirber and Total Records need to developed. I want to say it is not same. and also need to sent notification portion by portion on free version. first 1k and then 2nd 1k. 3rd 1k. various time various visitor. 1k sent but different subscriber on free version.

I like being able to create templates and segment the audience based on their interests and the language they speak. In our case, it is very important because we have two languages.

No poder tener siempre un UTM personalizado en todos los campos donde insertamos una URL. Esto nos obliga a usar otra herramienta para agregar un UTM de seguimiento. Tampoco me gusta que no cargue automáticamente la imagen de vista previa del enlace.

**What do you like best about OneSignal?**

I've had an issue implementing live activity with OS feature on our app and reached to get some help. 

I got nice, helpful and super quick replies from the start, from getting connected to the right person to setting up a call to discuss further. Juan was my point of contact, he was helpful provinding lots of detail, even after the call, sending me snippets of code and more links to the docs. I met Dominick on the call who shared his screen walking me through OS newest LA updates and helped troubleshoot what could be going wrong on my side. 

With both Juan and Dominick we managed to resolve my issue. I was positively surprised with the kind of suport I got, the speed and the quality of it, which were both superb. Thank you

With OneSignal its the same for Android and iOS.  Free for entry-level users.  And it works.

**What do you dislike about OneSignal?**

There are a lot of extra features that we don't need, we just use push notifications.

Relatively simple turnkey solution.  We have a chat app for the scouts, and you can't have an effective chat app without notifications.

Onesignal helps me be in touch with my online audience. I'm able to sent emails and notifications for free atleast my audience is still less than 10,000.

The is not beginner friendly, new user may some time figure out how to get started.

I like how easy it was to get everything set up. From signing up and getting my domain verified to integrating with OneSignal's API, I had no major problems. The support staff are really helpful and answered any questions I had.

What strikes me most is the ease of integration and abundance of functionality. In just five minutes of work you get access to segmenting your users and the ability to send push notifications, emails and even SMS!!
In addition, I am very pleased with the affordable price and individual approach!

Its nothing, lol! This is the most useful system I ever seen and used.

The fact that I can send notification from the Flutter SDK without writing API codes.
Individual Notifications, targeting a user across multiple devices
I can programmatically remove a notification. I used to dream of this one till I recently found out it was right there in the SDK

I really don't think I have any dislikes

1. When using Firebase Cloud Messaging, I have the challenge of writing Clou`d Messaging server side code, but here I can easily do that in Frontend.

2. Of all notification platforms I have tried, iOS set-up is always complicated and sometimes never works, Onesignal set-up has been so easy for me and effectiveso far

3. Also, I can see a dashboard for everything. The stats is there.

4. Lastly, the fast that I can everything notification in one place is pretty great. push, sms and emails.

Features are great and roadmap looks superb. I've been using Onesignal for atleast 8 years now and it's great how it started and the capabilities now. It's easy to use, implement and easy to integrate. But this time I am writing to acknowledge and appreciate the customer support team of OneSignal and how proactive and understanding they are. Juan who I worked with lately was very supportive and even would suggest best practices without request.

OneSignal workflows and journeys need much more architectural refinement and lot more options. Also, composability through APIs has to be more improved.

It's an extremely fast setup so you can be up and running with a new mobile app  using push notifications, and it allows you to grow as your app grows and need to use more of the features available in the paid plans.

We have used onesignal for about 12 different apps now and we still haven't found a downside to using a it.
