Employees and Managers can easily track hours, pay, and career development. Netchex offers plenty of learning modules, live and recorded to assist administrators. The Customer Support Offered post-deployment is excellent. **What do you dislike about Netchex?** The initial setup is extremely time-consuming and very demanding. If you work in a business that does not have the luxury of freeing up multiple days to work on the set-up, you will find this very challenging. We were lead to believe that our current systems would synchronize with Netchex, only to be tasked with rebuilding processes, something that the Teams for those other systems did for us. **Recommendations to others considering Netchex:** If you are able to schedule days to devote entirely to set up and deployment, do so. It is extremely cumbersome to manage the demands of their Team with a busy workday. **What problems is Netchex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Netchex simplifies payroll and as the updates roll out to make it compatible with existing systems, should greatly reduce administrative tasks for Managers, giving Employees more accountability. ### 2. I can view all manager tasks for my employees and then switch to my employee view very easily. We previously used another service that did NOT offer the same level of visibility as Netchex offers. We are incredibly pleased with it. **What do you dislike about Netchex?** We recently added NetLearn and NetScheduler to our account; these are a bit clunky for us and not as user-friendly as the basic Netchex experience. If these two pieces could be enhanced to be a bit more seamless with the basic service, that would be much more helpful for our organization. **What problems is Netchex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our employees were not previously able to manage and see their PTO or RTO, having Netchex has solved that problem. We've also noticed a benefit with employees being able to see more payroll data than was previously available. ### 3. Support is always there by phone or email with a person whom you can understand. **What do you dislike about Netchex?** Currently, we are waiting on some updates in the scheduler. Waiting on the ability for restaurant staff to see everyone on the schedule may force us to use an outside product while waiting on the new roll out. **What problems is Netchex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Hiring documents, weekly bank deposits, payroll reporting is all done, employees can get copies of their own payroll with no HR person. I wish that part would have been designed differently but other than that.... All online, access from anywhere, No time clocks needed. We reduced paperwork by 50%. **What do you dislike about Netchex?** Like all programs, there is an occasional glitch with employees signing in, but it is always resolved quickly with no lingering issues. **Recommendations to others considering Netchex:** You won't find a better web-based software at this price with all the bells and whistles. Cheaper competitors do not have the technology and abilities that Netchex has. More expensive ones are not worth it when you can get the same thing with Netchex. I would take them over ADP, Paylocity and Paycom, any day! I have used several competitors and Netchex is the best by far in every category. **What problems is Netchex solving and how is that benefiting you?** Much easier to navigate than old ADP software (saves time). Much more cost-effective than competitors (saves money). Web-based, easier access (reduce paperwork/save time). Phased out old-time clocks, employees use smartphones and computers to clock in/out. ### 8. It tracks our employees' time, and we use it to process payroll. Their system enables us to have shift differientals and set times for holiday hours. They process our SUTA and 941 reports on a quarterly basis, as well as paying our payroll taxes timely. Their help is typically very effecient and knowledgeable. **What do you dislike about Netchex?** Even though we have a group who answers our questions, lately their response time has been longer than normal. This probably relates back to COVID-19. I wish they were setup better for FMLA eligibility and tracking. **What problems is Netchex solving and how is that benefiting you?** With Netchex handling our timekeeping and payroll, it has enabled me to spend more time on other important tasks. I have peace of mind that they are processing our 941 and SUTA reports timely and accurately. They are also processing our payroll taxes in a timely manner. ### 14. Taking onboarding from all paper to digital was a HUGE win and has allowed us to improve our overall onboarding experience for our candidates/new hires. Also like being able to build our own custom reports in there. Very easy and intuitive to use. **What do you dislike about Netchex?** There are some parts of the system that don't talk to each other well (or at all). An example is the ATS and EEO reporting. The ATS gathers EEO data, but when someone is hired, it's not transferred over when they are hired. Entering that data is also cumbersome because it's not part of the employer onboarding. **What problems is Netchex solving and how is that benefiting you?** We switched to Netchex because it allowed us to run payroll more efficiently compared to our old platform. ### 18. The web-based platform is user-friendly and much more than just a payroll SaaS. Not only have I moved almost all HR functions to Netchex, I even use it as my company's intranet. I can use it for recruiting as my ATS, then onboard internal and external applicants, deliver the employee life cycle, and seamlessly initiate COBRA at the end of employment. Netchex is a compliance dream! You also have many options for communication - from a dedicated service team and a phone number with a human on the other end, to an online community where you can submit issues/questions, or just email the support team. They will even log your requests for tracking so everyone is on the same page. I like a company that self-audits and holds accountability in high regard. **What do you dislike about Netchex?** I can always think of more the system can do to help me with my daily work and special projects, and not everything has an easy answer when it is a complex request. **Recommendations to others considering Netchex:** Get the whole package! And it is great how team members can take ownership and control over customizing and updating their account. This has eliminated a lot of the paper trail that we had before for things like time off request, direct deposit, and paystubs. **What do you dislike about Netchex?** The only thing that I don't like is the dashboard - now that I am familiar with how it works I use it but I know a lot of the managers at my company don't use it because they are still learning how. I think it needs to be a little more inviting when you first log on. And I have found that sometimes it can be hard to fix a mistake under employee events if I mis-entered information and need to do it again. **What problems is Netchex solving and how is that benefiting you?** We partnered with Netchex in order to have our payroll and employee information consolidated into one site.
