**What do you like best about MYOB Acumatica?**

What I find fantastic is the Accounts Receivable management. The system allows me to record and track all transactions with my customers, providing detailed reports and account statements with a quick overview of outstanding balances and pending receivables.

**What do you dislike about MYOB Acumatica?**

One feature that may already exist, but that we have not yet discovered, is the ability to send automated reminders for outstanding balances directly from MYOB via email to our registered customers.

**What problems is MYOB Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the features that has enabled more efficient management is the ability to generate detailed Accounts Receivable Aging reports, showing overdue balances and categorizing receivables based on how long they have been outstanding. This allows us to develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluate the effectiveness of the company's internal credit and collection processes.

**What do you like best about MYOB Acumatica?**

Using the Myob system has made our day-to-day work much easier. The system in the browser is very fast, and information is generated within seconds. It consolidates information by projects, accounts, and subaccounts, which allows us to make decisions immediately.

**What do you dislike about MYOB Acumatica?**

As of today, I believe I have not found any significant drawbacks. Everything we have needed, Myob has been able to handle. What we would like to explore are opportunities to integrate another electronic invoicing system that we manage locally.

**What problems is MYOB Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest problems that Myob has solved is adapting to the consolidation of reports from the various projects we manage across approximately 13 companies, which allows us to review information in a very efficient and agile way.

**What do you like best about MYOB Acumatica?**

MYOB is a system that manages all types of transactions. The system has even allowed us to integrate other platforms that help us process accounts payable transactions.

Its Banking module is excellent, as it allows us to perform reconciliations and keep everything organized very easily and quickly. Thanks to the system, we can identify who registered the information and maintain full document traceability

**What do you dislike about MYOB Acumatica?**

One feature that would add tremendous value would be the ability to integrate MYOB with our banking platform. It would be extremely useful to download all the information and upload it directly to the bank without the need to manually handle this sensitive data.

**What problems is MYOB Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MYOB helps us keep all our information within a single system. We can upload any file related to any type of record, which truly makes it a very valuable tool when facing audits of any kind.

**What do you like best about MYOB Acumatica?**

I like how MYOB Acumatica improves our approval procedures and makes our monthly work easier compared to the software we used before. I find the payment part particularly helpful as it significantly shortens the time we use every month. Before Acumatica, we had to type payments into the bank one by one, which took a whole day, but now we prepare them all together and create an ABA file.

**What do you dislike about MYOB Acumatica?**

I would say the beginning of using it. The training can be more basic on every company's needs but not only the official instruction, that will help a lot. And for the data entry, if it can be imported from the software used before it will be easier for everyone. Initial setup was not easy actually, coz we really have a huge amount of data, and a lot needs to be provided. If we can directly transfer the data in the old system to MYOB Acumatica that will be perfect.

MYOB Acumatica improves our approval process, simplifies monthly tasks, and speeds up payment processing by allowing us to batch prepare and create ABA files, saving us a whole day.

I’ve found MYOB to be very user-friendly and straightforward to use, even if you’re not an accountant. Good customer support from your partner Acclaim Group. Has good features and easy to implement. I use it every day.

Sometimes I find that it’s a little slow when loading pages.

**What problems is MYOB Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Faster invoice processing and smoother reconciliation. Cleaner, more reliable data with less dependency on spreadsheets. Reporting is easier for managers, which helps improve reporting overall and supports better decision-making. Month-end pressure is reduced because automation saves time and cuts down on errors and other manual work. It also provides real-time financial visibility, with instant access to our financial position (cash flow, AR/AP, GL). Overall, it supports business growth without system limitations and lets us work more flexibly thanks to cloud access.

**What do you like best about MYOB Acumatica?**

I like how MYOB Acumatica helps me manage my workflow efficiently. It filters specific markets and identifies revenue and margin, which is quite helpful. The visual UI is also very employee-friendly, saving me from having to input data into Excel.

**What do you dislike about MYOB Acumatica?**

I'm a beginner, and there's so much more to learn. I feel like I'm only scratching the surface. I think MYOB Acumatica could benefit from a learning module or guided support (AI) and a space to practice fictional scenarios without impacting company data. It would also be helpful to have a gradual learning process based on modules to support users' growth from novice to power users.

**What problems is MYOB Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use MYOB Acumatica to filter specific markets and identify revenue and margin. It aids in managing my workflow by saving me from applying data into Excel, and its visual UI is employee-friendly.

**What do you like best about MYOB Acumatica?**

I like that MYOB Acumatica is a centralized software that allows me to approve all the invoices, saving me a lot of time instead of doing it manually. The interface is really nice, and it's part of a Chabot brand which I appreciate so much. I also find it very good that when I'm approving an invoice, I have the option to look at it and can delegate tasks to different groups. That's a great tool.

**What do you dislike about MYOB Acumatica?**

I would say it's the login. I have to log in quite often, but you always ask for email, password, or else you send me a text message. But it's just time consuming.

**What problems is MYOB Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use MYOB Acumatica to approve invoices. It centralizes the process and saves me a lot of time compared to handling everything manually.

**What do you like best about MYOB Acumatica?**

Seamless group accounting: all consolidation and elimination entries are processed, with real-time access and visibility across all entities in the group. The ability to store supporting documents directly within each record is very helpful. There are also supported workflows for Purchasing and Expense claims, which provide traceability from the beginning to the end of the process. Payroll functions are available within the system as well, enabling instant GL posting and reducing the need for manual handling of payroll data.

**What do you dislike about MYOB Acumatica?**

Recent updates have caused issues in the Project modules, leading to incorrect figures being posted. Unfortunately, this problem has still not been fixed, and it has been ongoing for more than a year.

  ### 9. Comprehensive and Customizable Payroll, but the UI Isn’t User-Friendly and Poor Ongoing Support

**What do you like best about MYOB Acumatica?**

We use Acumatica Payroll, and it has everything you need in a payroll software, plus automation features which make the pay run more efficient, such as bulk importing times directly into the software, and bulk adding public holidays to all employees who are entitled to them. It also has a lot of customisation available when you're setting up your employees, and your company pay settings (which can be good or bad), so it suits companies with more complex needs.

**What do you dislike about MYOB Acumatica?**

Whilst the payroll system has a lot of customisation, and all the processes you need, the UI is not user friendly at all. For example, when setting up a new employee, you have to enter information in a specific order (i.e. bank details first, then tax details, then pay details etc.), and you can only save your progress at random points, or you'll get error messages when you try to save or move to a different tab, and it will delete everything you've previously entered. And this information isn't laid out so it's clear in what order you enter things, there are 10 tabs, and you start with tab 10, then flick back to tab 3 etc... It's set up as to be as frustrating and painful as possible. Another example is, you can't always change the 'days paid' whilst you're processing a pay, you have to complete the pay, and then go back, re-open it and change the employee's days paid, when it would be so much easier to do it while you're entering the pay details. Furthermore, sometimes you can change them, and sometimes you can't, so they have different unnecessarily complex rules for when they can be changed in a pay-run. Also, MYOB's free support is terrible, which is possibly because they want you to sign up for their paid support plan. We had a paid leave item that wasn't working properly (due to MYOB setting it up incorrectly), and the support team couldn't fix it, so after a month or so of trying to get it resolved, they escalated it to their consultants (which you have to pay for), who were able to fix it very quickly, but we didn't think it was fair that we had to pay for them to fix their own problem, which the support team should have been able to fix. These are just a few examples, but cover the main things: unintuitive UI and poor ongoing support. In fairness, the only other payroll I've used is discontinued, so I don't know how they measure up compared to competitors.

It's providing us a payroll software, which covers all the features you need in NZ.

I find the reporting features in MYOB Acumatica to be really good and useful every day. The dashboards are great for setting up for leadership and management teams, allowing them to see important metrics at a glance. The filters in the reporting help in refining searches effectively, which is essential for our daily operations.

**What do you dislike about MYOB Acumatica?**

The app is no good. It's very slow and clunky. And for them to use the current, MYOB Acumatica desktop on their mobile device, I mean, on the road, it's just not optimized for it, so it's a poor experience. The initial setup was okay, but the transition has been challenging.

**What problems is MYOB Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use MYOB Acumatica for producing real-time financial reports like profit and loss and managing stock across countries. The reporting is really good, especially the filters, and the dashboards are great for leadership to see metrics at a glance.

I use MYOB Acumatica for financials, manufacturing, and distribution. I like the better reporting and the system being an all-in-one solution for ERP. The good flow of the screens makes sense and they flow onto related screens. Generic inquiries are useful for information and easy to create. I also appreciate that it is cloud-based and more comprehensive as a total package.

**What do you dislike about MYOB Acumatica?**

The system is a bit on the slow side which can cause delays and affect focus. I also need better totaling and grouping in generic inquiries to improve summarizing the data, as pivot tables are not ideal for this.

**What problems is MYOB Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use MYOB Acumatica for financials, manufacturing, and distribution. It provides better reporting and acts as an all-in-one ERP solution.

I like that managing stock items with MYOB Acumatica is much more efficient than using Excel. It's much easier for our company to manage customer POs. I appreciate that we can put notes and inventory items for our team members across the board. The logic of the setup is straightforward and easy to pick up, even though the data transfer takes some time.

**What do you dislike about MYOB Acumatica?**

The reporting function is not customized well, and there seems to be a limitation for building dashboards and reports based on some user licenses.

I find MYOB Acumatica makes managing stock items more efficient than using Excel and simplifies customer PO management by allowing us to put notes and inventory items for our team.

The best part of MYOB Acumatica is how everything is connected in one platform — inventory, manufacturing, sales, finance, and CRM all talk to each other in real time. The system is fast, flexible, and highly configurable, and the dashboards make it easy to see what’s happening across the business without running multiple reports

**What do you dislike about MYOB Acumatica?**

The biggest challenge is that upgrades can impact customisations, and even small schema changes sometimes require retesting or republishing extensions. Some screens also feel inconsistent in layout, and certain processes—like MRP or large BOM updates—can be slower without optimisation. The system is powerful, but it requires careful configuration and ongoing tuning.

**What problems is MYOB Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MYOB Acumatica solves our biggest operational challenge: having disconnected systems. It brings inventory, manufacturing, finance, CRM, and reporting into one platform with real‑time data. This reduces manual work, eliminates errors, improves planning accuracy, and gives us full visibility from raw materials to dispatch. The benefit is faster decision‑making, better stock control, and a more efficient end‑to‑end workflow

I find MYOB Acumatica to be a one-stop shop for managing numerous aspects of our business, like holding customer details such as delivery addresses and account status & credit terms. I also appreciate how it helps in managing inventory and stock levels efficiently. These features are essential for meeting and exceeding customer expectations, making MYOB Acumatica a valuable tool for us.

I think we do have a bit of an issue with speed. We have a lot of data, which impacts our speeds, especially in certain screens

I appreciate MYOB Acumatica's ability to manage data by filtering and sorting it into useful information. The Generic Inquiry feature is very useful and highly customizable to suit our needs. I also like the dashboards because they provide real-time data at a glance.

Some of the data provided were not as intuitive and has to be customized to provide the correct data. It also needs a few months to sort out the issues to make it more suitable to our needs.

I find using MYOB Acumatica easy, especially alongside Velixo, which makes producing Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet reports straightforward for our multiple entities. It's easy to reconcile intercompany loans, and I'm about to start using bank auto feeds, so that will save time. The multiple screens feature makes comparisons easier.

**What do you dislike about MYOB Acumatica?**

I wish I could amend transactions that have already been processed. It's frustrating when I accidentally post the wrong amount or process the journal incorrectly in terms of debits and credits.

I find using MYOB Acumatica easy for producing Profit and Loss and Balance sheet reports, reconciling Inter Company loans, and comparing data across multiple entities. It also saves time with future bank auto feeds.

Having everything integrated cuts down on the fragmentation you usually get when juggling multiple point solutions, and it makes the data feel much more consistent and reliable for decision-making.

It still doesn’t have a recruitment onboarding feature, which would have meant I wouldn’t need an HRIS in my company.

The Work Force Management feature allows better, easier self-service and the Payday super feature means no more clearing house, which adds up to additional savings.

The best thing about Myob is that it adapts to the needs of our locality in tax matters, for example, and also the interface is very fast and user-friendly, it is very intuitive and we have been able to develop customized reports.

What doesn't seem so good to me is that when support is required, there is a time difference with our country and it takes some time to receive the support.

Probably the BI part, we also think there is more potential to be extracted from MYOB, but we need to have the time to fully understand it. More relevant dashboard and more accurate data, I still think we need to work better on drawing the full potential.

I like being able to switch between modules with ease in MYOB Acumatica, and I quite like the functionality of the auto journals happening in the background. Its ability to customize to our needs is great, allowing us to create solutions exactly as we require, although it can have issues sometimes.

The modern UI has taken a long time to be realized and because we are payroll users, we cannot have the modern UI immediately. The expense module is a bit clunky and doesn’t provide ease for our sales people.

I really appreciate that everything is in one place with MYOB Acumatica, making it so convenient to link related items together. I also like having source documents available from transaction data. This is really helpful because when auditing transactions, we don't have to search through a different filing system for source documents since they're linked right at the transaction.

**What do you dislike about MYOB Acumatica?**

Service management is overly complex and wastes a lot of time, significantly increasing our workshop administration costs. The initial setup was terribly difficult.  Timesheeting is not easy for non-technical staff.

I like MYOB Acumatica because the chart of account sharing across all the companies makes it easy to do consolidation, and I can see the cash flow easily.

I don't like that MYOB Acumatica does not have standard balance sheet and profit & loss templates; everything needs to be tailor-made. Also, the period (months) is difficult to read. The initial setup was not easy at all.

MYOB Acumatica keeps all of our accounts and reporting in one place.  The features are clear and easy to navigate.  Training new staff is made easier as many are familiar with the platform.

Some features fall off our profile from time to time and we need to call the Business Hub to get them back.  Business Hub are very helpful and quick response time is great.

MYOB Acumatica is making running our customer monthly statements easy and stress free.  Much better than MYOB Advanced we had in the past.  So its a great upgrade.

Customer service is very difficult. Although the customer service has improved slightly with the care packages, receiving help quickly can still be challenging. The initial setup of MYOB Acumatica was very hard.

The reporting format is not really helpful for us at the moment. It’s not the format that our directors are familiar with, so we have to download the report in Excel and manipulate the data.

MYOB Acumatica links purchase orders with bills and lets us convert POs to bills upon receiving goods.

May be the first setup take longer hours to create and the cost to setup would be more costly. Hard to budget long term in the cash flow like the next 3-5 years but MYOB Acumatica only can budget for 1-2years only.
