**What do you like best about myCOI?**

myCOI provides incredible customer support and the most rounded offering for insurance collection and review in the marketplace. Their concierge offering provides a true outsourcing experience that takes the majority of the burden off my staff to collect, review, and follow up on subcontractor insurance.

**What do you dislike about myCOI?**

No major complaints at all. To provide quality insurance review, people have to be involved and the complexity of insurance makes it impossible not to fallible. myCOI's support team isn't perfect, but neither are we. When mistakes are made we partner to make sure that reviews are updated and the certificate review personnel at myCOI have a better understanding of what our requirements are intended to mean and how to apply them.

**What problems is myCOI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

myCOI takes the burden off my staff to collect, review, and follow up on insurance. They also ensure that people with in depth knowledge of insurance are tasked with managing the process instead of those of us who are relative novices when it comes to the complexity of insurance coverages and endorsements.

the system is a bit bogged down with shortcuts and too many ways to do one thing. 
the standard set of insurance requirements you can use is outdated and could be optimized.

MyCOI is tracking insurance compliance for our entire risk portfolio and for some of our partnerships. This is savings us from having to run an entire team of employees just to review and process certificates and insurance documents.

**What do you like best about myCOI?**

MyCOI directly contacts the subcontractors and vendors with insurance compliance issues directly freeing up my time.  MyCOI contacts the vendors when their COI is about to expire.

**What do you dislike about myCOI?**

Looking for the COI you need can be challenging as MyCOI does not have a standard naming protocol for the insurance information stored in their system. The use the names of the documents that the vendors themselves assign to their uploads and it becomes very confusing to find what you need.

**What problems is myCOI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MyCOI is a huge time saver for us and a major cost saver as well. MyCOI eliminates the need for us to contact the vendors as MyCOI does that, and we would also have to hire additional employees just to handle insurance compliance if it were not for MyCOI.

I like they do all the tracking. They send notifications to vendors and/or insurance agents.

**What do you dislike about myCOI?**

Sometimes it takes longer for a COI to be reviewed.  If I need an expedited review, I will email my direct contact, and it will be taken care of that day.

**What problems is myCOI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They notify insurance agents and vendors asking for compliant insurance.  They also track current vendors to request renewal certificates. By MYCOI tracking insurance compliant allows me time to attend to other job duties.

**What do you like best about myCOI?**

The most helpful thing about myCOI is being able to see the compliance status of my vendors easily.  I use this weekly to check any NON-COMPLIANT vendors so that I can notify them of their status.  
I haven spoken with other companies and thier products are much more expensive.

**What do you dislike about myCOI?**

The least helpful thing is probably being logged out if you are not active over a short period.  
Since this is a security feature for myself and my company, it is a small problem.

**What problems is myCOI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can get a quick glimpse of non-compliant vendors for any action that needs to be taken. 
I am much more productive since I don't have to check every vendor myself.  The portal is very user-friendly.

myCOI has saved the administrative staff so much time by automating so much of the insurance collection and verification process. The reports that can be run are great, the myCOI staff are responsive, and the platform is easy to navigate and use.

It would be great if we could save the settings of the reports we run every week.

myCOI handles all communication directly with the brokers! And I can navigate the platform with ease to access all information needed.

I wouldn't say I like downloading one pdf at a time and when you update the vendor contact information, an email isn't sent to the new contact.

The use of myCOI has allowed me to spend less time going back and forth to get insurance certs to meet compliance.

It is great having a portal that helps us keep track of our Certificates of Insurance in one central place that is easily accessible by the personnel needing it.

I cannot come up with anything about this program that I don't like. I really like their new updated version.

We never had a central tracking system for insurance certificates. This program helps us track and organize our certificates by the departments that need them.

The MyCOI program is extremely easy to use.  I was expecting it to be cumbersome.  The Customer Service is outstanding... they always get back to us quickly.

We went from paper COIs to MyCOI... I can't think of one thing that I dislike about the program.

In a nutshell... they ensure that all vendors have adequate insurance coverage in our School Division (in all three areasL  Purchasing, Construction and School Facility Use).

**What do you like best about myCOI?**

I love that the responsibility of ensuring our construction projects are properly covered and meet contract requirements is off the shoulders of people not trained in the reviewing and language process.  I love that this system allows agents and brokers to speak to each other in a language they both understand and communicate the needed forms and coverages.  Direct communication leads to faster coverage and results and cuts out the middle-man trying to interpret what is actually required.

**What do you dislike about myCOI?**

The action item graph on the dashboard can be a little misleading because it only shows outstanding and unregistered; it doesn't offer a complete picture.  The new dashboard isn't easy to use; it bounces back up to the top each time when you are trying to do a search or a certain view. The time between upload and review can be a little long, especially if there is only one item left to bring a trade into compliance. It still falls within the agreed-upon review time period, but it feels long when it's just one item left that needs a quick look.  I dislike the certificate or document view drop down. It's chunky and cumbersome to navigate through to find the document and date you want to look at in the menu.

It is solving for us the problem of our Project Management teams reviewing endorsement language and contract compliance. This systems allows for our teams to focus not on the legal language found within insurance documents, but on the other aspects of our jobs and business.

The system takes out having to email so many people for COIs, and the ease of agent portals to decrease unnecessary communications.

The MyCOI system doesn't have anything I would dislike.

As someone who isn't very well-versed in insurance matters, I appreciate knowing certificates are being reviewed by the experts!

**What do you dislike about myCOI?**

The only downside of myCOI is we experience pushback from some of our vendors on their willingness to utilize the platform although this definitely isn't due to any fault of myCOI as they make it fairly easy for vendors and their insurance agents.

myCOI is helping us cope with the sheer volume of insurance certificates we receive.

I like myCOI because they offer internal service coordinators that correspond directly with tenant & vendor contacts to obtain all insurance documents & ensure proper coverage is fulfilled.

No commentary at this time, this service is very straight forward as is & if any help is needed their support team is quick to respond to any requests in order to help.

myCOI is taking a lot of correspondence responsibility off property management teams' plate by coordinating directly with tenant contacts, which benefits our team greatly & saves us time.

Not sure where all the positive reviews are from.  But, the thing that they have going for them is they actually have a phone number for you to call and talk to an American english speaker.

**What do you dislike about myCOI?**

Trying to use their portal is tiresome.  
As a subcontractor trying to get my insurance company to try and talk to a 3rd party company is not easy at all. I'm not sure where all the positive reviews are coming from, but as a vendor who is forced to go use this portal, it's not fun.

**What problems is myCOI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It doesn't help the vendor who has to use the portal from my experience.  Why not just talk to one of the company reps you are doing the project for and send it over directly to them like we used to do?

The FACT that I can set up projects and corresponding Subcontractors and then give the task of collecting required Insurance to someone else is what I like BEST!

**What do you dislike about myCOI?**

There is hardly anything that I dislike about myCOI!  If there is one thing maybe the "help" section could be a little more specific and hit more subjects or areas.

**Recommendations to others considering myCOI:**

Consider the time spent on communicating, collecting and reviewing required insurance!   Then consider the thought of someone else doing it for you!

**What problems is myCOI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, in hoping to get a better compliance number, we are working on getting different insurance sets established for specialized vendors and subcontractors.  One substantial benefit realized is the time saved in not having to constantly communicate with your vendors/subcontractors!  Gives you extra time to focus on other duties!!!

**What do you like best about myCOI?**

MyCOI takes most of the work away from a company regarding insurance compliance of vendors & subcontractors. MyCOI stays on top of all of the vendors and subcontractors to ensure all certificates that are nearing expiration are updated without having to involve your company personnel. All of the insurance certificates are easy to find and print if necessary.

**What do you dislike about myCOI?**

MyCOI takes longer than I would like to review insurance certificates and to process override requests. MyCOI does not use uniform titles for the documents uploaded by your vendors and subcontractors. MyCOI just uses the wording that the vendor or subcontractor uses when they save a file themselves then upload it to MyCOI. If would be incredibly helpful for MyCOI to rename files using standard file names instead of using what the file was named by the vendor.

**What problems is myCOI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having an insurance professional reviewing our vendor's and subcontractor's insurance certificates for compliance rather than just having our own personal being box checkers. With the volume of projects and insurance certificates we work with using MyCOI actually eliminates a position at our company that would be needed just to maintain insurance compliance. Also having all of our insurance certs located in one place in the cloud is very convenient as we do not have to file a paper COI or have to retrieve files from closed projects that are in storage if we need an older COI.

myCOI offers ease for their clients.  Their staff is knowledgeable and easy to get in contact with.  Not only are they a big help to the client, but also the client's clients.  Friendly and professional staff overall.

**What do you dislike about myCOI?**

Popular renewal periods are the only time when compliance reviews take longer to complete.  This really isn't the fault of myCOI or their compliance reviewers.  The volume of reviews they must perform is higher than normal, and it's just the nature of the beast.

myCOI allows us to identify where our users are lacking in insurance, and whether or not it is necessary for those users to carry certain policies.

The experts at myCOI assist our Administrative team in wading through subcontractor compliance for our many construction projects. They are constantly in touch with us, schedule quarterly review calls, are responsive when we reach out with an issue or request, and take our feedback seriously. Furthermore, they offer continuity and a streamlined approach for both our internal and external teams.

**What do you dislike about myCOI?**

Nothing! They're great. No complaints at all.

We are better able to focus on controllable compliance factors because myCOI  clearly pinpoints what our subs need to achieve and maintain compliance. With their assistance, our company has reached a gold standard rate of 90% compliance, something we were not able to do before.

Nothing I can think of at this time. But I know the team is always open to feedback.

This is a way for us to assist our clients in ensuring their vendors, tenants, sub-contractors, etc are carrying the right insurance types and limits.

**What do you like best about myCOI?**

MyCOI allows us to keep track of the insurance certificates of all of our suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors. We have the concierge version and they take our requirements and vet that the certificates match our requirements and deem compliant, non-compliant, or give me the opportunity to override. They also automatically generate reminder renewal notices and work directly with agents, taking the guesswork and explanation out of it for us.

**What do you dislike about myCOI?**

The DocumentHub is not super user-friendly and not well-integrated with the rest of the program. This was an add-on feature for MyCOI after we were already a client and that may be part of the issue. I wish you could upload documents with a title instead of having to create them on the back in before uploading.

**What problems is myCOI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has the streamlined the process of letting us make sure we are covered and protected and that all of our suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors are compliant with our subcontract obligations for insurance. It also allows the guess work to be taken out because the terms and what's missing is negotiated directly on our behalf from our account representative with the insurance agent for the supplier, subcontractor, or vendor. It also allows me to override contractual requirements for those third-party's who do not need to maintain the same level of insurance, based on job function, scope of work, or amount of work. I only know when someone is requesting an override, or is non-compliant, which makes it super easy on us to maintain.
