# What is the most affordable website monitoring software for SMBs?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">I’m helping out with a couple of small business sites and trying to figure out the best <strong>budget-friendly monitoring tool</strong>. For SMBs, it feels like the sweet spot is something reliable that covers uptime/alerts without the enterprise-level complexity (or pricing). </p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">From <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/website-monitoring/small-business">G2’s small business grid</a>, these stood out:</p><ul>

<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/uptimerobot/reviews"><strong>UptimeRobot:</strong></a> super simple, high satisfaction, seems like a great fit if you just need reliable uptime checks.</li>
<li>

<li>

<li>

</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">I’ve also seen folks mention <strong>Pingdom</strong> and <strong>StatusCake</strong> as affordable options.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">From what I keep hearing ( and as many G2 reviews show), it feels like:</p><ul>
<li>For pure affordability, UptimeRobot and Freshping are hard to beat, especially if we are just focusing on uptime and basic alerts.</li>
<li>If deeper performance insights are needed, people often recommend Pingdom or Uptime.com.</li>
<li>For a blend of free, scalable, and easy-to-use, Site24x7 comes up a lot.</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Curious if others here running SMB sites would agree with this, or if there are other underrated tools worth checking out.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Which tool gave you the best bang for your buck?
