"ICE software review"

What do you like best about RIB 4.0?

One of the greatest advantages of ICE software is that it is pricing as you build. Generating immediate quotes is a huge advantage, and it is very precise, including pricing down to the smallest part or detail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RIB 4.0?

Because ICE has so much “thinking” to do, it can be prone to frequent lags and possible crashing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about RIB 4.0?

The connectivity among all the requirements of the teams in the company. Information can be easily tracked along the project's cycle. It can connect different programs used by our teams in order to retrieve data. It has been a great way to standardize the processes in the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RIB 4.0?

The program can be slow at times. It has little flexibility in some key aspects making it hard to adapt to the clients needs. Some of the modules are not working properly and are still going through revisions by the developer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering RIB 4.0:

Make sure you want to take the leap into a standard workflow and have a team that is willing to go for the change. This is a long process and requires a lot of effort from the whole team. What problems is RIB 4.0 solving and how is that benefiting you?

Information loss due to the switching of platforms and programs among different teams. Time consuming activities such as linking and looking for information and how it changed through a project are done almost automatically.
