  ### 1. Efficient EMR, Disappointing PM and Customer Service

**What do you like best about ModMed?**

I really appreciate how ModMed learns what I do and allows me to repeat those actions, which enhances my efficiency and suits my working style. Additionally, I appreciate the exam documentation by exception feature, which streamlines the process by focusing only on the deviations from the norm, saving me time and reducing redundant work. I also like that it is easy for new hires to learn, which reduces training time and helps them integrate quickly into the workflow. Furthermore, the ability to use ModMed on an iPad adds a level of convenience and mobility that I find valuable for my practice.

**What do you dislike about ModMed?**

I find the overall customer service to be weak. We often lack an identified support person, and when I report issues, it feels like the problem is always seen as something I'm causing, even when it's a bug report. The sales experience was particularly frustrating; we were misled by the sales team when adopting the practice management feature. This left me considering never doing business with ModMed again. Additionally, the practice management feature of ModMed is a disappointment, as it does not seem to be leveraging the technology effectively. It feels about 15 years behind in technology and does not harness the power of modern computers. The initial setup was also problematic; we were promised that all payor information would be transferred, but ModMed failed to do so.

**What problems is ModMed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I appreciate ModMed for learning my workflow and allowing me to repeat it, simplifying exam documentation by exception, and being easy for new hires to learn.

**What do you like best about ModMed?**

They continue to have issues with their analytics in their PM system. They are very slow to correct any issues.

**What do you dislike about ModMed?**

Yes, their billing system for all of the "add-on" products they offer for purchase. It should be a single billing system, not several invoices.

  ### 3. EMA is not overly user friendly

The lack paper - mostly easy to navigate

**What do you dislike about ModMed?**

The endless scolls of choices like anesthesia types bandage types suture types   - this is lazy programing and you change it to sticky note.  Yet some of the sticky notes dont stay sticky -- I have one post operative care note that I have tried to change for a year - it may go away for a time then suddenly returns

**What problems is ModMed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has solved paper but causes me exceptional longer time daily

Transparency of tasks. Protocols are fabulous!!!!

**What do you dislike about ModMed?**

Any lyrics scan be improved! Patient portal messaging should be more transparent and  able to filter messages by provider and or reason for message.

  ### 5. Terrible customer service and impossible to reach a human

**What do you like best about ModMed?**

The system looks nice and is somewhat intuitive for many tasks.

**What do you dislike about ModMed?**

They do not have an open API and make it very difficult  to integrate with other systems.

They are partnered with many 3rd party vendors, offer services that feel pieced together and require a lot of man hours to manage.

Modmed is expensive and offers poor support for the price.

It's impossible to reach a person for support. Separate logins are required for user, admin and support.

Reporting is robust but slow and difficult. It takes many man hours to create and update custome reports. They also lack proper tracker for cosmetic patients thought the process to know which stage they are in.

Quoting has improved but still leaves a lot to be desired.

They "update" often but usually create additional fees for any added services. I would expect so new features for the already high price.

Web based is great
