# Should new Popl users lead with tap-to-share or the QR code?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">I'm trying to get a clearer picture of whether new <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/popl/reviews">Popl</a> users should lead with tap-to-share or the QR code. In the G2 reviews I read, the answer is to pick one and tell the other person which it is as you share, since new users and recipients are sometimes unsure which to use, and QR is the method people mention liking most. Setup is described as quick, often minutes, and the other early points people mention are the app prompting to add a contact and the chat feature taking a little exploring.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">For <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/event-lead-capture">event lead capture</a>, that makes Popl a good fit for people who want a card ready before an event without much preparation.
