"Keeps Me Organized Across All Platforms"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Outlook?

I really like how easy it is to keep everything in one place, like emails, calendar invites, and tasks. The calendar reminders are seriously a lifesaver, and I especially appreciate being able to schedule meetings directly from an email. It also syncs smoothly between my phone and laptop, so I don’t miss anything important. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Outlook?

It can feel a little clunky sometimes. When it glitches or takes forever to load, it really slows me down. The interface could definitely be a bit more modern and user-friendly; some features just feel buried. Although it's nice to be able to integrate it with other software or signatures. "Simplifies Calendar Sharing and Integrates Smoothly Across Microsoft"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Outlook?

I've been a longtime user of Microsoft Outlook, but I do like the way that it simplifies the way that we can share calendars across an organization. The majority of our workforce is remote and it significantly cuts down on the number of back and forth emails. I also appreciate the way it easily integrates with other Microsoft products. What do you dislike about Microsoft Outlook?

The system keeps trying to push me to the newer version of Outlook, but I don’t find the interface nearly as user-friendly. It doesn’t feel like an improvement over the current version, and I’m concerned about how it may impact my productivity if/when I’m finally forced to switch. "Emails, Meetings, Panic: The Full Experience"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Outlook?

The biggest upside of Outlook is reliability. It’s been around forever, and it shows. It handles email, calendars, and contacts in one place without much drama. I use it daily, and it does a good job of keeping everything organized, especially when you’re juggling a lot of emails and meetings.

The calendar integration is a huge plus. Scheduling meetings, sending invites, and syncing with Teams feels seamless if you’re already in the Microsoft ecosystem. I also like the rules and folders feature; once you set them up, Outlook quietly does a lot of the cleanup work for you in the background. Search is another underrated win; even when my inbox is overflowing, I can usually find what I need pretty fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Outlook?

Outlook isn’t the lightest tool out there. It can feel a bit heavy, especially if you’re using the desktop app with a large mailbox. I’ve had moments where it lagged or froze right when I was trying to send something important (never a great feeling).

The interface can also feel cluttered at times. There are a lot of features, which are great in theory, but it can be overwhelming if you just want to do something simple quickly. On top of that, notifications can get noisy if you don’t fine-tune them; it’s very easy to end the day with inbox fatigue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Outlook on Windows, solid for client emails and calendar, recall helps a lot even if its not perfect"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Outlook?

I’ve been using it for close to eight years, and it’s just become part of my routine. It feels familiar, and I don’t have to think about it much. Day to day it’s easy enough: search is quick most of the time, and the focused inbox keeps junk out so my client threads don’t get buried. Recall has saved me a few times inside our org when I hit send too fast. It also feels more reliable lately than it used to, although it won’t help if the email has already gone to someone outside the company. For client communication it’s solid—I don’t fight the app—and security-wise, sign-in is tied to our company account, so it feels locked down and sensible.

Getting it up and running on new machines has mostly been smooth. I sign into Microsoft 365, it pulls down my mailbox and calendar quickly, company policies kick in, and I don’t need to fiddle with much. Years back we did have a couple of profile hiccups and a massive OST that got cranky; I had to reset things and rebuild the index. It took a chunk of a day, but once it was done it stayed stable. Since then, updates roll in quietly and I just keep working. I’m in Outlook basically all day, five days a week—reading, writing, scheduling—so my usage is high, and it keeps up.

Feature-wise, there’s a lot I actually use instead of just ignoring. Rules and categories help me keep client work sorted, and delay send is a lifesaver when I want a second look. Shared mailboxes make teamwork simpler, and calendar invites drop in a Teams meeting so I don’t have to think twice. Attaching files from OneDrive is clean, and it turns the attachment into something that stays updated, so versioning doesn’t bite me as much. Search across years is good, though sometimes the index gets weird and I have to rebuild it—annoying, but not a deal breaker. Integrations are strong for me: Outlook plays nice with Teams and SharePoint. A couple of add-ins like CRM were hit or miss; one made things sluggish, so I removed it and it was instantly better. Support-wise, the official help pages and community posts usually get me unstuck. It’s not perfect, but it’s enough to move forward.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend it. It’s the most complete email and calendar app I’ve used on Windows, it handles client comms without drama, recall inside the org has bailed me out more than once, and the whole setup feels secure under our company account. It’s not flawless—no app is—but for day-to-day work it does what I need and stays out of the way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Outlook?

Time zones and recurring meetings can get weird. I’ve had a few double bookings because an update didn’t sync correctly to a shared calendar, or the meeting showed up late. Forwarding meeting invites to a client also isn’t always straightforward; sometimes people end up with two versions, or the attachment gets lost. The new Outlook direction versus classic adds another layer of confusion: buttons move around, some features seem to disappear, and I have to re-learn where things are, like Delay Send or Message Options. It’s fine once you settle in, but the constant changes still steal time.

Email recall is much better within the org now, but it can create a false sense of safety if you forget it won’t pull back something sent externally. I still double-check sensitive emails and often use Delay Send, because recall isn’t a magic undo. Sync on shared mailboxes can lag too; unread counts get out of sync, and it makes me think I missed a message when the cache just didn’t update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect Email Format for my Needs!"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Outlook?

How simple it is and the fact that I can have the app on both my iPhone and my Macbook Air. There's nothing fancy about it, but it works great and I never have issues with it. I also know that Outlook is widely used within the business/legal field, so it's nice to know that while I'm in school, I'm becoming very familiar with the email system that I'll likely be using for th erest of my career. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Outlook?

I wish that the user interface looked a little more modern/sleek. Sometimes it looks like an older or more boring user interface, and I think if they updated it something more in line with Gmail or just did a facial refresh, it would be even better. As it currently stands, it looks like something from the early 2000s. I understand that Outlook is probably geared more towards business professionals, so making something like fancy and cool isn't really a huge priority, I just think it would make the interface more fun to use and maybe attract more people to use it. Adding more color or just providing and overall update to refresh the look would be a big step in modernizing it for younger generations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use and Feature-Rich—Microsoft Outlook Stays Reliable"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Outlook?

Overall, I like how easy it is to use—Microsoft Outlook remains a constant for me, even with updates. I use it daily for both work and personal needs. I also enjoy the features it offers, such as delaying sends, callback messages, and being able to like or use emojis to react to messages instead of having to write a full response. I’ve also found the Copilot integration features helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Outlook?

Dragging files for download — I used to be able to drag and drop attachments directly from Outlook, but now I have to download them first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Outlook Keeps Communication and Scheduling Organized in One Place"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Outlook?

Outlook keeps everything organized in one place. The email management, calendar scheduling, and reminder features make it easy to stay on top of business communication and appointments. It’s reliable, professional, and integrates well with other tools we use daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Outlook?

Overall it works well, but it can be a little overwhelming. There are so many options and menus that it’s easy to get lost. I’ve also had a few small syncing issues here and there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Email With Handy Sleep Mode and Scheduled Send"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Outlook?

I really like the sleep mode and scheduled send features. Overall, I find it user-friendly and easy to navigate, with all the necessary folders and helpful automated rules that keep everything organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Outlook?

I don’t like that it always defaults to Teams for meetings, and I’m not sure whether I can change that to Zoom instead. I understand Teams is part of the ecosystem, but my group uses Zoom, and the meeting invites don’t feel smooth or straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Microsoft Outlook is a powerful and reliable email tool, especially for professional and corporate use. It combines email, calendar, meetings, and contacts in one place, making work organization easier. Integration with Microsoft apps like Teams, Word, and OneDrive adds strong productivity value. However, Outlook can feel slow with large mailboxes and slightly complex for new users. The interface isn’t always beginner-friendly, and search or sync issues may occasionally occur.
