**What do you like best about LogRocket?**

We've been using LogRocket ib our company the last half a year, and it’s been a game-changer for understanding user behavior, debugging faster, and improving our UX. Being able to replay user sessions and see exactly where friction happens has helped us make smarter, data-informed design decisions. It’s like having x-ray vision for our product. Highly recommend it to any team serious about user experience and product quality!

**What do you dislike about LogRocket?**

It takes some time to fully understand how to get the most out of all its features, especially for non-technical team members.
If not configured well, you can end up with tons of sessions that aren’t relevant, making it harder to find the valuable ones without solid filters in place.

**What problems is LogRocket solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LogRocket helps us deeply understand how real users interact with our product. It allows us to replay user sessions, identify points of confusion, and uncover bugs that would otherwise be hard to reproduce. This has significantly improved our ability to validate design decisions, prioritize issues based on real user behavior, and deliver a smoother UX. It’s especially useful during usability testing and post-release monitoring, where we can quickly verify whether users are engaging with new features as expected.

As a product manager without a technical or engineering background, I love that LogRocket gives me powerful insights without requiring deep technical expertise. Session replays are especially valuable because I can pinpoint the exact moment a user encounters an error and quickly view the associated network activity to understand what went wrong. There’s nothing I actively dislike, but I’d love to see more product-focused capabilities, or features designed to help product managers bridge the gap between product and engineering even more. For example, more intuitive reporting or built-in product analytics could make it an even stronger tool for cross-team collaboration.

The collection of errors across multiple user sessions and how it's organized is super helpful! It's allowed my team to identify urgent issues and given us the tools to diagnose the root of the issue. LogRocket even enables non-tech professionals to communicate with their IT team to resolve issues.

LogRocket is extremely helpful at first, and then becomes insurance for the long run, which costs. So you may not need it permanently, but it you are making ongoing changes to your website, then I think it's invaluable.

LogRocket is identifying customer issues on our website and enabling our team to resolve those issues quickly by giving us tools to diagnose.

**What do you like best about LogRocket?**

It allows you to trace errors from your users without asking them to do a "Teams meeting" or things like that... Among being able to trace errors automatically that you can't replicate... That feature alone for me justifies the product, but among that you get heat maps, surveys and other features you can see in "similar" products...

**What do you dislike about LogRocket?**

The cost is "per session", and for web apps a user that it's using the app the whole day can consume various sessions in a day... So depending on the use of your platform it may be session consumming, so unless you want to have a very big plan you may need to limit I all your sessions use LogRocket or just some of them (for example on request of support).

**What problems is LogRocket solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking the errors that some users have was super painful, as each user can have different browser, OS, some may have a VPN, etc... And our support team was always saying things like "we can't reproduce the error, let's meet via Teams/Zoom/etc"... Now we can track and hunt the errors much faster, see in video what makes the error and make our customers happier, losing less time. Honestly, for SaaS this is priceless. You can also detect "rage clicks", and track bottlenecks in performance.

We had many issues with people bouncing from landing pages, and understanding why our ads were driving clicks but not conversions. LogRocket helped us to fully understand why we were having these issues, where people dropped off, what they looked at, and how best to improve.

I appreciate being able to go back and review exactly what the issue was, all without needing to disturb the end client. We sometimes run into issues with our internal software that tracks, but we're always able to resort back to LogRocket to double check the data flowed properly or not.

The "Anonymous User" feature sometimes states this even when an email is presented.

LogRocket is powerful, but filtering sessions by custom tag events can be clunky at times. I would love more intuitive ways to isolate specific user journeys or debug tag logic without stitching together multiple filters. I started to use log rocket a few months ago and I liked it session replay I allowed to me to see exactly what user were doing and this is very great insights for me as it helps me replicate the issue. filter by user is one of my favorite one

LogRocket for session replay but as developer who have tried other tools like sentry, I found it had to find the exact code that caused the problem, if we can have a way to locate a code that caused the problem, it will be great experiance

Instead of trying to guess what a customer experienced, you can literally see their journey click-by-click, scroll-by-scroll. I use the Session Replay feature almost exclusively at this time. It is very easy to find a session to replay. The replay feature helps me troubleshoot issues that used to take me forever to pinpoint. I gather such helpful insights that will help our company solve many issues that our users face but tend to not report to us.

**What do you dislike about LogRocket?**

The only downside I have found so far is that I am sometimes not able to pull up a session replay even though the email/time are filtering correctly.

LogROcket helps me solve issues in out intake process that users may not know are issues and therefore, they tend to not report the issue to us. We are gaining valuable insights that we otherwise would have no way to gather!

We can watch how user interacts with the page and all the events happening, both in the network and in the state. It has been easy to integrate in the page with every new feature. We used it daily whenever we want to reproduce a bug. Customer support is always willing to help.

**What do you dislike about LogRocket?**

At some point, some repeated events are dismissed, but they should give users the option to set the limit or to see them if required. It doesn't matter if it is costly.

It is helping to reproduce bugs and replay the session where it happened. This case in particular has helped to resolve problems quickly and to identify the root cause of them. In consequence, less time is spent in the development process.

**What do you like best about LogRocket?**

LogRocket is an indispensable source of insight for our team. Its wide array of metrics and high fidelity session capture enable us to improve our product in a way we couldn't find elsewhere. It strikes the right balance between simple and complex, with an intuitive interface that doesn't water down capability.

I've used LogRocket in several projects over the course of several years, and each time we've been able to get telemetry flowing from the frontend to LogRocket within a matter of minutes by leveraging their simple embedding implementation. This level of integration simplicity without running into strange edge cases or delays is simply unbeatable.

As a daily user, it's become a key part of my workflow. Whenever I have a question, the LogRocket support team is excellent and highly responsive.

You can't go wrong with LogRocket.

**What do you dislike about LogRocket?**

The only area in which LogRocket falls short is price relative to analytic capability. While our use case is primarily technical in nature, I would appreciate access to more charts. Additionally, session capture is capped at one month under the base plan which can be limiting on occasion.

**What problems is LogRocket solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With such a wide variety of device and browser types, you can only optimize so much before needing to see it in the real world. This is where LogRocket shines for us -- the ability to watch sessions from our users paired with technical logs shows us exactly the areas where there's friction and deeper engagement. The insight we get from this enables us to improve our product, content strategy, and market positioning.

The ease in which I can create custom views to truly understand how customers are interacting with my products is fantastic. Once event logging has been implemented, a treasure trove of information is at your finger tips. Very simple to understand where we need to provide additional training or enhanced user interfaces to drive return on our development investments.

We have had struggles with the session replay functionality, although this is likely due to our implementation as a component within another products main interface. It also would be nice if there was a way to allow low code implementation so that non-developers on our marketing team could initiate event tracking.

LogRocket allows my team to review user sessions going back months in time and instantly identify problems with our web app that users report to us. LogRocket provides a service otherwise not thought possible in an easy-to-use, intuitive, and data-rich user interface. The features that I find most helpful about LogRocket is being able to personally audit any logs to collect all of the necessary information and context needed to assist clients and/or colleagues with their specific inquiries. Being able to view what EXACTLY occurred leading into an issue/bug is extremely helpful.

I find that the platform can take some time to load especially when viewing many records at a time, but this is a universal issue for most apps with a large volume of data.

I love how effortlessly you can select features directly from a session replay to build charts or create definitions. The ability to define custom metrics and reuse them across various reports; especially in path analysis, makes it incredibly easy to track and monitor common user journeys.

It would be really helpful to have more advanced conditional filtering, specifically the ability to include certain criteria while excluding others. Additionally, having the option to build basic tables or display data in a table format directly within dashboards would improve the ease of reporting.

There are certain sessions that don't appear to be logged or tracked, although this could be due to user error rather than a problem with the platform itself. I think there are few things "wrong" with LogRocket, but look forward to more updates, capabilities and improved processes as time goes on.

What I appreciate about LogRocket is that it doesn't restrict my ability to address problems. Whether it's a straightforward issue or a complex, multi-page error, I can track problems and provide support to our users.

Integrating LogRocket into our app was a very straightforward process. Individual sessions also load much faster than with competitors such as FullStory.

However, the best thing I like about LogRocket is just the number of quality-of-life features that they provide. For example, the timezone is editable when looking up session timestamps, which makes it significantly easier to find the specific user actions that I am looking for.

Instead of relying on vague user reports, we get clear, video-like evidence of what actually happened. It’s also incredibly useful for spotting UX friction or design gaps that users don’t always report but clearly experience.

There are a few areas that could be improved:

Performance Overhead: Depending on implementation, it can introduce some load to the client-side experience.

Session Limits: On mid-tier plans, you can quickly hit your recording quota without aggressive filtering.

Advanced Setup Complexity: Custom tracking and metadata enrichment require dev time, which can slow adoption for non-technical teams.

Search & Retention: Session search is good, but can feel limiting when trying to analyze granular trends over time or across large datasets.

LogRocket has become an indispensable tool for our team, and we highly recommend it. We primarily use it to track failed actions in our application, which has been a game-changer for our debugging process. Instead of relying on user reports that often lack crucial details, we can now instantly see exactly what went wrong. The ability to watch a user's session and view the console logs, network requests, and state changes simultaneously is incredibly powerful.

A new and highly effective practice we've implemented is conducting weekly reviews of problems based on the data we gather from LogRocket. Each week, our team reviews the most common errors and user struggles, prioritizing them for our next development cycle.

The data export using the API is not free. It would be good if free access were allowed, even if not for session replays, but at least for analytics.

I think that I can quickly watch recordings of users doing real work and get a lot of learning and understanding from it to improve my designs continually.

**What do you dislike about LogRocket?**

I find it hard to decode the bottom bar of when someone is not active, or on another tab, etc. Which can make it hard to stitch together their experience, especially because our product's aim is to get users out of multiple disparate systems and remain in ours. 

We also have the basic plan, so this might be something that is easily accessible in the Pro version, but I have weekly metrics checks per client that I pull from the system (such as Average Session time) but to be able to quickly analyze the datasheet that I export, I need to use AI to help me. I would like this already done for me in Log Rocket.

**What problems is LogRocket solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is allowing me purely to see what users are doing, in an environment where they don't know I "am watching" which is crucial to understanding the customer journey, especially when users may not be super willing to give indepth and nuanced feedback.

We've used other platforms in the past that were far more expensive and required extensive mapping and custom code to implement that did not offer the saem level of detail as LogRocket.  Immediately after adding the tracking snippet, we saw immediate results in more detail than our previous provider Pendo which required countless hours of mapping features and would break everytime there was a UX update. Integrating LogRocket into our daily CS and Product analytics workflow only took about 15 minutes.

**What do you dislike about LogRocket?**

I would like more of a focus on the analytics side of the process rather than the sessions but the data is there and retreivable.

**What problems is LogRocket solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User adoption and workflow analysis without having to set time to meet with the users is the highest priority.  Along with that comes the obvious benefit of being able to experience a failed workflow or bug that a user experienced that may be difficult to recreate later on in a test environment.
