The ability to set up departmental approval processes has been a big win—everything is consistent, structured, and easy for staff to follow. The platform is also very user-friendly, making it simple to train new team members. **What do you dislike about Lightyear?** Initially, getting your head around the process takes a little time, but with training and practice it becomes straightforward and easy to use. **What problems is Lightyear solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our experience with Lightyear has been excellent. It has reduced processing time, improved accuracy, and made training new staff much easier. The support we received from Krishane was outstanding—he worked hands-on with our finance team, tailored the setup to our needs, and was always available to quickly resolve any hurdles. It makes my AP role much easier and faster. The customer support is fantastic, the features are valuable and they introduce new ones all the time to streamline or to make improvements on existing features. The MYOB integration is very easy and you can have as many users and departments as you need. I use it every day. The best feature is it can read all types of invoices, not just PDF's. **What do you dislike about Lightyear?** I don't dislike anything about lightyear. **What problems is Lightyear solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used to manually enter all my invoices which took days. This has streamlined this for me so it is much more efficient and faster. It also removes human error. They are always available to assist and the pricing for the integration and support portion is reasonable. Especially in comparison to competition. **What do you dislike about Lightyear?** Would be great if you could import historical invoices in larger batches then 50 - bulk csv etc would be fantastic. The best part is that, whenever I encounter any problem, Lightyear Team is always ready and willing to help me through Chat or Email and they quickly resolve my issues and concerns! **What do you dislike about Lightyear?** To be honest, none so far. I have not encountered any problems with this software yet. It is a fast and reliable too! that meets my expectations and needs. I appreciate its user-friendly interface and smooth performance. **What problems is Lightyear solving and how is that benefiting you?** Lightyear is an amazing tool for invoice automation. It eliminates the hassle of manual encoding and frees up my time for other tasks. I love the features that allow me to monitor the history, processing, deletion and archiving of invoices. Whenever I encounter an issue with an invoice, I can easily check the activity log to see if someone has altered the data or if the invoice has been processed already. Lightyear can also detect duplicate invoices. Incredible! ### 10. Lightyear automated the this side of our business and saved us a tonne of time, reducing data entry and ultimatly increasing accuracy and speed with AP. **What do you dislike about Lightyear?** not much.. i think maybe if could show some more snippets in a dashboard for a quick overview, but i guess all the infomation is availalbe in the reports anyway. **What problems is Lightyear solving and how is that benefiting you?** Two things, i removed data entry and sped up the AP side of our business , but most recently i we have been using to to scan incoming purcahse orders to convert to invoices in XERO. ### 11. The volume of invoices we process daily can be quite large and the time that took to process individually in Xero was turning into a full time job. We had tried a similar app before but found it wasn't saving much time and we still required to input a lot of data. A huge benefit is not only do invoices need little handling from the team now but also anyone can pick these up, it's so easy to see what stage an invoice is at and it can be moved along by any of the team. The approval process is great, saves us lots of time chasing staff and I've had very good feedback from managers of how much easier they find approving invoices on LY compared to emails. I can also see Lightyear has so much more to offer than how we are currently using it and will definitely be looking into what more we can do. Lastly, the support from the Lightyear team has been exceptional and made the whole process so much easier. They’re continuingly looking for ways to help us and make everything smoother. **What do you dislike about Lightyear?** Honestly, nothing yet. It does exactly what it says on the tin and we've had next to no issues. Any issues we've had has only been something which we were still learning about and could be fixed with the help of the support team. If I had to input an answer though, not being able to overwrite VAT. Sometimes there's a difference due to rounding and a manual adjustment similar to Xero would be easier than the auto rounding. **What problems is Lightyear solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's a huge time saver. It helps us identify any duplicates which is very important. Chasing for approvals was also a very time consuming admin job before which we no longer require to do. Checking statements, a manual job that took a lot of time. ### 12. Have been able to streamline AP process and more than halve the time taken to process 100s of invoices each week, with improved accuracy and consistency of GL coding. The automated statements function is invaluable for invoice reconciliations, and makes following up missing invoices so easy. Ability to export invocies for use with POS software to maintain inventory and accurate item costings **What do you dislike about Lightyear?** Nothing to dislike! It is so easy to find bills and credit notes. Love the Reconciliation process - LY makes it so easy Using LY ensures that paperwork does not go missing and that adequate records are kept on who is working on the bills. The support we have received is five-star service. **What do you dislike about Lightyear?** You will always have to make some adaptions because every business is unique in its needs. This is understandable, and the small changes we had to make do not come close to comparing to the advantages we have had in using LY. **What problems is Lightyear solving and how is that benefiting you?** Paper invoices that go missing. No more filing cabinets and files are saving us space and decluttering the desks and filing systems. When we have to look for any bill, it is now at the end of our fingertips. ### 16.
