**What do you like best about Kickflip?**

What I like best about Kickflip is how it makes product customization feel simple and smooth. Customers can personalize products without confusion, and that really improves the buying experience. The interface is cleaner and easy to understand. Even first-time users can figure out how to customize a product without extra instruction. I like how flexible the kickflip is. It supports different types of products, options, colors, text, and variations without breaking the flow. The live preview feature is very helpful. The customer can see changes instantly. which builds confidence before placing an order. It integrates well with the existing e-commerce platform, so it doesn't feel like a separate system to manage, and performance is solid. Customizations load quickly, and the experience stays smooth even with multiple options.

**What do you dislike about Kickflip?**

One downside is that initial setup can take time, especially when configuring a complex product with many options. There is a learning curve for advanced customization features, especially for non-technical users. Pricing may feel high for small businesses just starting out. Some design customizations require trial and error to get exactly right. Advanced analytics around customization behavior could be stronger. Documentation is helpful but could include more real-world examples. Occasionally, managing a very large product catalog feels a bit heavy.

**What do you like best about Kickflip?**

I find Kickflip really simple to use, and it integrates very nicely with Shopify. I've been very happy with it. The initial setup was super simple, and I didn't have many problems at all. The few questions I had were easily resolved with Chat GPT and Claude API.

**What do you dislike about Kickflip?**

I think it's mostly on Shopify's end, but trying to print out the orders in a manner that allows me to order my blanks and designs could be improved. Right now, I have to use Python and the Kickflip API and a Shopify download to get what I need to make the orders work for me.

**What problems is Kickflip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kickflip allows me to show dynamic images of various t-shirt colors with designs, making it easy for the customer to select and visualize their final product. It simplifies handling multiple color options without manual scrolling.

**What do you like best about Kickflip?**

I appreciate that with Kickflip, it's easier for people to see and customize something on the computer, which cuts down on the back and forth and personnel needed. There's no confusion about what they’re getting because it’s right in front of them. I've never been able to have them customize something, see it, and approve it so seamlessly before, and that's really all I needed from it.

**What do you dislike about Kickflip?**

The phone version of Kickflip is not as good as the computer and iPad versions. It's also not easy to configure. It could benefit from having different options for computer versus iOS. Additionally, the initial setup wasn't very easy for us because what we're doing is a little complicated, so it took some time to get set up.

**What problems is Kickflip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kickflip saves me time by letting people create mockups on the computer, so they can see and approve immediately. It cuts down on back-and-forth communication and avoids confusion about orders since everything is clear and right in front of them.

**What do you like best about Kickflip?**

I like the UI and the flexibility that Kickflip allows me. I've been very happy with it and the support has been great. I attended a product demo where they covered the basics of the product, which was great, and there was also someone in the chat available to answer technical questions. It's flexible enough that I can do things that might not be intended, and I can mainly do what I want to with it.

**What do you dislike about Kickflip?**

It took me a bit to figure out how to set a default value for a question. It's a little costly, and I hope it ends up paying off with more orders.

**What problems is Kickflip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kickflip allows me to collect detailed customer information by showing relevant questions in succession, unlike Wix. This results in a better experience for my customers.

**What do you like best about Kickflip?**

I like the simplicity of 'use first of all,' and therefore the concrete result of what you want! 
I've tried several software programs that at first seemed to have a better structure, but in the end turned out to be either too complicated or too limited.

**What do you dislike about Kickflip?**

There are two things I don't like that I've noticed and are important. One is that, for some reason, the images in the configurator are not centered, and I can't explain why. The same images used elsewhere have no issues. The images are first checked, prepared, and then uploaded.

The second thing, which is very important, is that it's not possible (in my case) to create a base price, and within that base price, create the logic where a print is free, and the customer has the option to choose any printing area, without being forced, for example, to choose front printing because it's included in the price, meaning no extra charge.

**What problems is Kickflip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a customizer for clothing, specifically tailored to my case. I do DTF printing, and I wanted to give customers the ability to choose from a catalog, configure the product with colors, sizes, and quantities, and have a preview of everything. I wanted customers to be able to select as many print areas as possible, but I also needed to make sense of it all with some specific logic — for example, in some cases, size M might not be available in certain colors. Since a sweatshirt can have more print areas than a t-shirt, and so on. I also needed to be able to set price tiers, which is really important in my line of work.

It’s just a real shame not to be able to access a bit of the app’s code when integrating with Shopify or the platform being used.

Kickflip is a really powerful and well-built tool, but what truly impressed me the most is the customer support.
The support team is incredibly patient, friendly, and helpful. I had several questions and some technical issues, and they took the time to explain everything clearly step by step. You can tell they genuinely care and don’t just send generic copy-paste replies.
Even with more complicated problems, they stayed calm and motivated to find a solution, which is something you don’t see very often these days. Their professionalism and kindness really stood out.
Overall, Kickflip is a great tool backed by an excellent support team. Highly recommended!

There’s honestly not much to complain about. The only downside might be the price, which is a bit on the higher side, but you definitely get what you pay for.

What I really appreciate about Kickflip is how easy it is to set up and actually use  both for me as an admin and for the end customers. The interface is super clean, and the real-time visual updates make customizing a product feel seamless. It gives you a lot of control without overwhelming you with too many settings or complicated logic. Plus, the fact that it works well across devices is a big bonus for us.

Kickflip is easy to use and integrates well with our shopify theme. Kickflip is versitile, offering many features meaning it can be used for multiple purposes. The help team are always quick to respond and offer friendly support.

Some of the theme settings and branding is not as flexible as I would like. The theme is also universal, so settings apply to all products if using multiple.

Kickflip has allowed us to offer our customers the option to completely personalize our products without the need to add complex code to our shopify theme. It's allowed us to integrate a high value feature at much lower cost with the option to easily update and add to the customizer.

Kickflips’ customization tool has been a great asset for our business, allowing clients to design a wide range of custom watches with ease. Their ability to host all our product data and provide a flexible formatting tool ensures flawless integration with our Shopify store. The clean, intuitive UI makes it simple for us to work on the app, streamlining our customization process and enhancing the overall customer experience.

**What do you dislike about Kickflip?**

Despite Kickflips' strengths, there are several limitations that impact our experience as a paying customer. The inability to customize the editor's backdrop with our own videos or branded images is frustrating, especially given our paid plan status and the substantial fees we're investing in the platform.

The lack of custom CSS support severely restricts our ability to enhance the customization tool with essential elements like customer reviews, product information links, and FAQs that could significantly boost our conversion rates. For a premium service, we expected more flexibility to align the editor with our brand identity and marketing strategy.

Additionally, despite our plan supposedly including unlimited variants, we've encountered restrictions when trying to add all our product variants to the system. This contradiction between what's promised and what's delivered is disappointing, particularly considering the investment we've made in their premium features.

These limitations prevent us from fully leveraging the tool's potential and creating a seamless, branded experience for our customers.

Hopefully they can change this

The user experience blows away all the other apps I installed, tested and ultimately uninstalled. The back end builder is simple and the demo stores made it easy to understand how to get it set up. I can now add a customization option to all my products in no time. I use kickflip to do custom laser engravings. The image previews and order folder contain all the files you need to quickly turn customer uploads and text into laser engravings. We process over 50 custom orders a day and kickflip makes this easy and streamlined. Did I mention the customer's experience??? It's INCREDIBLE. If you want to give your customers the ability to personalize your products then look no further! DON'T SETTLE FOR ANOTHER APP.

**What do you dislike about Kickflip?**

There could be more features to help the customer adjust their image (ie turn it negative). I have submitted this in their feature requests!

**What problems is Kickflip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kickflip allows my customer's to personalize our products with custom images, logos and text. It translates seamlessly to our laser engraver and we are able to process 50+ orders a day. The user experience on our site is what I love most.

Software quite simple to use, the 14-day free trial allows you to learn how to manage each option. The rendering on Shopify is done very easily. I recommend.

I encountered a maintenance issue, and it would be really appreciated to be able to recenter each image directly, instead of having to manually adjust each one on our side.

**What do you like best about Kickflip?**

Compared to other apps with the same functionality, KickFlip definitely offers the most user friendly interface both front and back end. Their support are great, and the customisation of the app is also great for businesses who have a certain style or theme to follow for their branding. The customer support chat is super helpful, it keeps you on chat with a support agent, Cindy is a great help,  get instant answers to questions about how to do things.

**What do you dislike about Kickflip?**

There are some limitations with functionality such as moving the Add to Basket button, but you can request and vote for the functionality which is really helpful.

**What problems is Kickflip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We offer engraving functionality on stone products we sell. We have always wanted an integrated platform offering our customers a more easy to use way of personalising their engraving and choosing options. Kick Flip is perfect, and displays the options in such an easy to use way.

We're a VERY small business who wanted a way to have guests personalize gifts that we normally offer only at live events. I looked at most of them, but the Kickflip "pay as you go" option is what really sold me. This is a vast experiment for us and I like that we're taking a risk on each other. It took me a while to figure out all of the tools, but the AI support and the live support were fantastic and had immediate answers to any question I had. I was able to get up and running with a lot of options very quickly. Integration with WooCommerce on Wordpress has worked quite well too.

**What do you dislike about Kickflip?**

There's not a way to select a color palette that is saved other than duplicating a product, questions and logic and then resizing things. I figured a workaround, but if there were a "shop color palette" or set of defaults store wide to choose from that would save a lot of work.

Once you get through the learning curve that comes with every customiser, it's pretty straight forward. The customer facing UX and mobile responsiveness is good - much better than the other options I've tried. Really adaptable with options to show/hide descriptions/pricing/largs vs small thumbnails etc. 
The customer support was fantastic - the team are friendly and helpful, going over and above.

**What do you dislike about Kickflip?**

Technically haven't quite launched yet - but so far nothing to complain about. It's been a bit harder to iron out the final kinks (packing slip, cart, order confirmation) compared to other cusomiser apps I've used, but if that's the price you pay for a better platform then it doesn't bother me.

**What problems is Kickflip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We make customisable crystal mining buckets. We needed a solution that allowed our customers to build their mining experience from the ground up. The interface is really important. Our previous builder had issues with mobile responsiveness, the pricing didn't show for individual items, and customers weren't able to edit their final product once it was in the cart. It looks like Kickflip is solving all these issues for us.

I'm just getting started but the initial setup of the custom product was very easy and was so much faster to complete than I expected. It was integrated into Shopify in a few clicks! The interface is so nice looking compared to the other options out there, and certainly seems to include more features.

I had to rely heavily on the support articles to get set up. The hardest part was adding/connecting the product into shopify. But there were plenty of help articles to go over the steps necessary to get it done.

It seems you have to click a lot of different places to get it to appear correctly.  Some of the rules are not ituitive.

**What do you like best about Kickflip?**

No only does the plugin allow me to accept custom orders, but it also provides a live preview for customers. Also Kickflip offer a fee per product sold rather then monthly subscription which makes it super easy for small businesses to get started.

**What do you dislike about Kickflip?**

Can be difficult to integrate with Woocommerce. Make sure your editor and plugin is compatible before installing.

Provides a live preview of custom product before customer orders.

**What do you like best about Kickflip?**

Kickflip provided an easy-to-learn, transparent interface for 100% customisation of my products. It can be easily linked to the webshop.
As I wanted to make a very specific product customizable, I browsed the internet with great doubt as to whether there would be software to do it. To my great delight, I found Kickflip. All the tools are available on the site to allow me to create the product I want for my online store. I could easily create the product. A plus point is that I don't have to spend a small fortune to use the site, I pay as my webshop grows, which I think is very fair.
I use the site frequently and the support team has always been available to me. They are very kind, patiently answering all questions within a short time.

**What do you dislike about Kickflip?**

I can't think of anything I didn't like about Kickflip

**What problems is Kickflip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I make candles with a message hidden in the top layer of wax, which gradually becomes visible as the wax melts. Customers can choose from a range of colours and sizes, I wanted them to be able to choose visually. My main concern was that they could design their own message hidden in the wax, which I was able to do with Kickflip.

**What do you like best about Kickflip?**

The customizer is very easy to set up and use, and the design is clean and modern. It was very easy to integrate into my existing Wordpress site. They are very helpful and easy to work with. There are numerous features that allow me to offer complete customization for my POD business. I use Kickflip all the time, and we are extremely happy.

**What do you dislike about Kickflip?**

There are still a few more features I would love to see, but the product keeps on improving and I'm hopeful it will be added soon!

We used to hire graphic artists to customize our designs for customers, and now we use kickflip to allow them to customize themselves. Now we can service more customers, and we're saving on salaries.

**What do you like best about Kickflip?**

Kickflip mostly makes products easy to create for cusomization without the use of coding.

**What do you dislike about Kickflip?**

I wish they allowed us to adjust the pictures/layers on the program itself. It is very time consuming and a pain to constantly switch programs and re-upload to ensure the pictures are perfect for customization. That isn't as user friendly as I wish it could be.

I am not sure what they are solving and not sure what would benefit me at this time.

I have been researching and testing customizers that aren't too expensive, especially for a small business that is trying to test out a product. Here is what I like about Kickflip:

- Mobile friendly
- Free to start
- Reasonable pricing for small businesses
- Friendly customer service 
- Constant updates with new valuable features
- Easy to integrate and implement on your website

If they add 3D customization, that'd be interesting.

No fee to start was a big deal breaker compared to other customizers that required a big commitment from the start before showing their platform. The ease of use for our customers was a huge plus.
