## Kerika Reviews
  ### 1. User-Friendly Collaboration, but Limited Automation and Integrations at Scale

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arkajit D. | Chief Technology Officer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Kerika?**

For us, we applied it to manage product, engineering, and operations tasks that spanned various distributed teams that work on fintech delivery deadlines and client onboarding processes. First, it was obvious to us how user-friendly it is. While many project management applications end up being confusing when a project scales, Kerika maintains its simplicity and ease of use. Its board-based workflow structure made it easy for technical and nontechnical team members alike to track task progress, bottlenecks, and responsibilities without going through much training.

One other thing we found impressive about Kerika was its ability to facilitate collaboration. For example, during a certain software release where we had several payment gateway integration processes and compliance feature deployments at hand, it became necessary for various teams to collaborate on their respective dependencies at once.

**What do you dislike about Kerika?**

One of the aspects of Kerika that I did not like is the fact that even though the platform itself is very clean and user-friendly, it starts getting somewhat limited once the processes get too complex and operationally involved.

Specifically, once the fintech projects started scaling up across the teams of engineering, compliance, QA, and operations, the need for more automation and reporting arose. While Kerika was a great tool for seeing how things went and collaborating on tasks, some more complex cross-functional programs and their multi-release cycles required manual interventions.

Finally, when it comes to advanced integrations and operational insights, while Kerika proved to be very good at document integration and collaboration, compared to other, more corporate solutions, its ecosystem lacked the depth of such integrations. For instance, with the payments infrastructure rollout process tracking, some of our needs were addressed through the engineering systems.

**What problems is Kerika solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kerika successfully addressed one of our biggest issues related to cross-functional collaboration and visibility among distributed teams. Prior to using Kerika, our work-related communications, updates, dependencies, and discussions would be scattered among email threads, spreadsheets, Slack conversations, and various project management tools which required constant follow-up actions.

For instance, there was a recent fintech product delivery cycle where various integrations with payment gateways, compliance checks, quality assurance tests, and client onboarding processes took place at once. Various team members were involved, however, the operational visibility regarding blockers, responsible parties, and completion statuses was completely absent, leading to delays due to dependencies between engineering, operations, and compliance teams.

By using Kerika, we were able to create a very visual and logical environment in which task progress, current blockers, pending approvals, and deadlines can be tracked easily even for non-technical team members. Moreover, using Kerika, we were able to eliminate a lot of communication-related problems due to its board-based UI/UX approach to project management.

Finally, using Kerika also provided us with the ability to centralize all documents, collaboration, and communications inside the workflow itself which greatly increased productivity.

User-Friendly Interface
Kerika’s interface is clean, modern, and incredibly user-friendly. The drag-and-drop functionality for task boards is particularly intuitive, allowing users to quickly organize and prioritize tasks. Powerful Collaboration Features
One of Kerika’s strongest points is its collaboration capabilities. Real-time updates and notifications keep everyone on the same page, reducing the risk of miscommunication. Our IT department is pleased that Kerika saves our data on our G Drive, as it allows them to ensure that external parties cannot be joined to any boards or have copies of any files made. We are a Google shop now and Kerika works well with Google Docs and we can sign in with our old Google Apps IDs so that’s one less thing to deal with. Kerika has become my main way to use Google Drive now because I can find stuff as it’s connected to specific tasks and projects. That’s much easier than regular search, because sometimes you don’t even know what to search for, just that it was related to this project X.

Much easier to use compared to tools like Asana and Jira which we tried earlier. This is pretty similar to Trello but with a much cleaner UI.
