## Journey Reviews
 ### 1. Fantastic Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Journey?**

Super simple & easy to use! I used to email prospects PDFs, links, and case studies all separately throughout the whole sales process. Now with Journey, I can easily post all of that information in one place that prospects can access any time.

It saves them time so they dont have to dig through emails and try to remember what I've sent. It makes their internal discussions easier

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

It was a bit overwhelming at first, but didn't take long to figure out

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a software sales rep, I used to email prospects PDFs, case studies, links, and all sorts of things. This would lead to them having to dig through their email inbox to pull material to build their business case.

Now I can create their business case for them so they have everything readily available to present to their leadership

 ### 2. Unlimited use cases, valuable insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Spencer T. | Director of Strategic Accounts, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Journey?**

I'll start with the end. The insights on views, percent of Journey completed, and time on each page is HUGE. Timing is everything and knowing if/when your customers are viewing is a difference maker.

The flow for the recipients is great. There's the option to download as PDF but PDFs are boring and has ZERO wow factor. Journey takes customers from the mundane

I've used this for prospecting, multi-threading, recaps of calls... being able to add docs and video is huge.

I actually used this when searching for a job too. I created a Journey of my background and philosophy on sales. I got better response rates from Journey than I did from sending video intros.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

There's a lot of great ways to customize already but the only thing I'd want on the roadmap is more ways to change font and minor things like that.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visibility on engagement with my content which helps build pipeline for sales. It's also increasing efficiency. I can make a template of a few personas or based on company and send that way.

 ### 3. Journey is a simple way to personalize at scale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris B. | VP, Revenue Generation, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Journey?**

Ability to copy from prior Journeys and to tie in multiple sources of information to present together.

Update - paid for Journey for the last ~year and really like it. I've built 100s of journeys and it takes roughly 2 minutes to make a new Journey by re-using old blocks.

We use as a digital sales room, as a way to deploy company-wide updates, and as a client onboarding checklist.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

Nothing so far - I have been using the free version for nearly 2 months and enjoy it thoroughly.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personalization at scale and the ability to interact with prospects beyond traditional email attachments.

 ### 4. Journey has been great for our start-up customer journey!

We use journey for every client onboarding for our product, as well as training journey's.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

We haven't found anything that we dislike.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A simple, intuitive flow for onboarding new clients to our product.

Increases speed of clients setting up their account, training, and user activity.

Easy for our customer success team to create, update, and add new features to the journey.

 ### 5. Journey makes it easy for the customer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Srinevasan M. | Mid Market Account Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Journey?**

Journey solves a very important problem in the sales cycle, making it easy for customers to have all the related information in one place.

It's been a game changer for the customer experience.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

Nothing I have encountered that I have disliked

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of access from the customer's standpoint to help with their decision making process.

 ### 6. Simple but effective platform that helped us build sales resources

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Journey?**

There is a very flexible drag and drop builder that can aggregate multiple links or resources into a single repository. The analytics and tracking on the engagement by our prospects is what is a big value add.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

It can feel a little overwhelming at the start. It took us a bit to really think about how to use the tool for our process, specifically.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Journey helps us send out sales resources quickly all across our sales process. Instead of sending out multiple links without knowing which ones were shared or interacted with, we can build out a very personalized single link that makes it easy for our prospects to share the right resources to the key stakeholders. It helps us move opportunities through the sales process.

 ### 7. The software that makes you champion's job easy (as a salesperson)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pablo G. | Account Executie, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

I'm a salesperson and after my meetings, I used to send a recap email with a bunch of links and attachments, in the hopes that they trigger something and that my prospects would buy my solution.

However, I can't track and I don't even know if they read these emails. Emails are plain and I need to stand out from the crowd as a sales professional. Journey helps me with that.

With Journey I can send comprehensive, neat, and organized recaps with videos, links, and information arranged in a landing page, best of all is that I can track everything.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

The tool is pretty straightforward, which is something I love but I can see some people might need extra features. It does the job well!

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can stand out from the crowd as a salesperson, people remember my solution more which gives me higher chances of selling my solution and making more money for me and my business. I can also track what I used to just guess!

 ### 8. Simple but effective platform that helps us write great proposals for clients.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Journey?**

It is very easy to write and link essential info about our services in our proposals. We also use Journey internally during presentations.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

I haven't found any downsides of journey as of yet.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is cutting down the time of writing proposals for clients and giving a better platform for showing our services.

 ### 9. The new, unique way to showcase your startup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

It was a platform I didn't realize I needed, and now has become a vital part of my communications. The most helpful aspect is the beautiful design, interface when presenting to prospects. Additionally, the templates are useful and I'm sure will improve as the platform grows, and using the platform is extremely intuitive. Each time I think to myself of creating a demo, pitch, brief about the business, my first thought is initially to create a journey. I have now started using Journey as a verb in my outreach!

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

There is nothing I dislike about the platform. If I could make a recommendation, I'd love to be able to edit the table of contents to remove the unnecessary links (don't really want the title page and contents in the TOC). This is still a nice to have over a need to have - the platform has been delightful to use.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Main problem is an easy way to present our business, and value prop. It helps because it's not the standard pitch deck, rather its an interactive way for people to learn about our business and make the sales process much nicer and less sales-y. Our demos have gone much better as a result of using Journeys.

 ### 10. Essential for Sales and Fundraising.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin B. | Co-Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

Journey simplifies all collateral (pdfs, reviews, slides, memos, etc.) into a single workspace. As a founder, it has been pivotal both in enhancing my storytelling capability during fundraising as well as with our sales & gtm.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

It's actually extremely simple to get started since the pattern is so similar to building a deck (just with a ton more integraiton). Since we leverage it for sales, they could do more to to improve their CRM sync.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Journey is addressing the challenge of fragmented and cluttered email communication by consolidating them into a unified workspace. This makes the sales and fundraising process more organized. For me, as a founder, Journey has been instrumental in refining my storytelling both in fundraising and in sales. The platform's analytics feature provides insights into engagement across each part of the journey, which helps me hone in on what's most compelling to each user/company we work with.

 ### 11. Useful tool for founders

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alder R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Journey?**

Great tool for keeping investors up to date about your journey

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

The auto-selected thumbnails for videos leaves something to be desired

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Investor relations

 ### 12. Highly Recommended: Feedback on Ease of Use and Great UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trisha P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Journey?**

easy to use, great UI, highly recommend.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

None so far. Thank you and keep up the good work!

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Journey.io simplifies storytelling, customer engagement, and deal closure by offering a single, powerful link for all these purposes. It makes sharing stories, managing interactions, and finalizing deals easier and more efficient, ultimately saving time and improving outcomes.

 ### 13. We land twice as many projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meg S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

We use Journey as a sales tool for our web design agency. And since we have been using Journey we've landed twice as many clients than before, when we sent cold proposals through an email.

We combine our proposals with a loom video of us talking the client through the project, a link to sign up for a meeting on Calendly we include various links to projects, case studies or get to know us videos. It makes us look super buttoned up. And we now have a hub for tracking proposal changes - something we didn't have before. The mobile view looks super solid and I'm obsessed with tracking the metrics to improve the UX of our journey experiences.

Keep making great tools! We need them!

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

Making sure links from figma are displayed the proper way to fill the screen has been a challenge.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving proposal review sales hub
Solving user metrics for living docs

 ### 14. I love journey because it feels and it looks different. Different stands out.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keith B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

Journey is easy to express creativity, and share your ideas with your audience in a new way that is trackable and traceable. I spent some time with the completion but like the uniqueness of journey. I do love and I know my readers of my pitches love the interactive chatbot as well.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

Loading sometimes is sluggish anf navigation isn't as good as it could be. There is certainly room for improvement with both of these areas.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like taking my ideas and easily being able to express them in a journey. It's quick, and easy for me to get my ideas, packed them up and get them out the door quickly.

 ### 15. Excellent deal hub for sales teams and their buyers to collaborate.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

Super easy to build and use. Way more interesting and dynamic than a slide deck and gets everyone out of digging through emails.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

like any other new tool, product is still maturing. they are super responsive and eager to build/improve, so the support makes up for any bugs/issues.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

for any deal that has multiple stakeholders and a lengthly process, it is imperative to keep all relevant info in one place and get your champion and the DMs out of email. Digging through their emails to get the right quote, decks, case studies, etc in order to facilitate internal conversations is miserable. Keeping it all in a journey that is easy to use and looks great is 100x better.

 ### 16. Experience with Journey

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ritika S. | Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

It is so easy to create and share updates using Journey. Me and my team are using Journey for investor updates and the way it has been designed it makes our life as founders very easy. Also, the customer support is very responsive so it makes user experience really good.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

There is no dislike thing. Product features keep on evolving over a period of time so I expect some features to evolve!

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using Journey for investor updates. It is very easy to manage and update and doesn't change the link. Also, my team can collaborate easily.

 ### 17. Fantastic concept that works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

We use Journey to provide a better follow-up experience for our prospects. Rather than having to search through endless emails to find the information they need, everything's neatly stored in their Journey instead. It's slick, looks great, and provides us with real added value throughout our sales process. Prospects like it and simply put, it just works.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

As with any younger company, there have been a few teething issues and little bugs that have impacted functionality. That being said, Jason, Brendan and the team have been super responsive and new features and improvements don't just happen this week or this month, but sometimes even on the same day.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Avoiding lost data: So many emails go back and forth in the sales process and can easily get lost. We use Journey to keep things neat and ensure that the important information is easy to find.

Better buying experience: It's slick and customers like it. We leverage Journey's platform to make us stand out from our competitors. Where others would get a dreary email, ours get an engaging Journey.

Better champion management: So much of the sales process happens in the shadows when you're not around. We provide our internal champions with tools in their Journey to help them sell the Hire Genious platform internally, when we're not around

 ### 18. Simplifies the buying process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex R. J. | Strategic Sales Development Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

I love that it acts as a central hub for prospects to refer back to throughout the deal cycle. Gone are the days of sifting through emails to find attachments!

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

It's sometimes a challenge to get people to use the tool; however, I don't think this is always a bad thing. It can help qualify-out and it's also on me to be sure they know what it is and how to use it to begin with.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Information and content gets lost constantly within a deal cycle - especially the longer that cycle is. This can lead to more work for sellers constantly resending things, and more importantly, lead to losing deal momentum and/or losing the deal completely. It simplifies the buying process for buyers, saving them time and also saving the seller time.

 ### 19. Journey > Docsend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David O. | Founder and Chief Vision Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

I use Journey as an alternative to Docsend for fundraising, and it is perfect. Unlike Docsend, I can guide my users through a curated journey of how I want them to experience my presentation.
I love the ability to have a mixed media of documents and video.
Similar to DocSend, you can also require an email address for access to your presentation and then view the analytics of the viewer's interaction with it.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

The starting paid plan price is steep for early-stage startups, but this isn't a deal breaker because the free plan is exceptionally stocked with excellent features. However, it would be nice if there could be a package for startups.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DocSend's free plan is a joke - it isn't for early-stage startups. Journey has provided a better alternative. I can have unlimited views of my presentation even with the free plan.

 ### 20. Visual recaps for your prospects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

I like the best that is easy to set up and create recap journies that are easy to digest for my prospects. Plus the visual identity they have is beautiful.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

At the beginning it was a bit bulky to learn, however as soon as they noticed I was making mistakes, they shared a tutorial with me to solve it, without me asking for it.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Well, recapping a 45 to a 60 mints meeting can be tedious and boring for some prospects to read, so now that they have more visual aids with the information I'm sending through Journey, they reply back more often to those new recaps.

 ### 21. Great expereince

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris H. | Head of Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

Few tools are as engaging as Journey.

easy to use.
easy to loop in stakeholders and customize the experience to every buyer.
easy to make copies of previous journeys, which saves reps time...but each journey feels unique from the prospect's PoV.

recommend 10/10

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

There's not anything noticeably unlikeable about the tool.

Your first journey will take some time to set up because you're figuring out your own flow - but that's on the user rather than the tool.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problem it's solving
- every sales rep deals with multithreading and looping in multiple decision makers. Journey's created an easy way to create alignment across the buying team. catch people up who missed out on specific calls, review previous discussions, etc...
- love that it's something that can be revisited over and over again. so much stuff get's lost in google docs or emails that go back and forth across multiple people. Journey puts an end to that

 ### 22. Great for follow ups

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andreas L. | Sales Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

I love Journey for creating a room where I can create a visually appealing and professional place where all follow up and material collection happens.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

Journey is not yet widely-known which may cause hesitation and limitations to access from corporate organizations.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Journey I can create beautiful follow ups that are easy to share and collaborate with larger decision teams. There is no need to send pdfs that will get lost. All information is in one place and accessible for everyone that should see it.

 ### 23. Journey makes the buying experience more pleasant for prospects

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael E. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

For sales reps, Journey includes valuable data on prospect engagement and an organized place to communicate with multiple stakeholders.

For prospects, Journey creates a unique buying experience that allows information to flow easily as the the opportunity progresses

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

Parts of the UX could be improved, especially on the prospect side.
A more seamless way of editing documents in the app, and configurable permissions to determine when/how a prospect can edit their journey page.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Journey allows me to organize all sales-related materials with multiple stakeholders in a single pages, rather than multiple email threads.
This also makes it easier for prospect stakeholders to share information and get visibility into the project.

 ### 24. User-friendly tool help with achieving relevance & value in nurturing customers & leads

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madi M. | Customer Success Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

- user-friendly and easy to get started
- onboarding and support is consistent and proactive
- AI integrations make it quicker to produce written content, so i can focus on personalisation and adding value
- all other integrations are super helpful when embedding videos, images, links etc, easily and effectively.
- detailed insights on views, time spent per section are also helpful so I can improve journeys built over time

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

This is not a deal breaker - the shareability of the journeys is good and useful for email. It would be great to improve regarding sharing on social platforms (e.g. LinkedIn DMs for B2B sellers), in Slack or even in the help documentation for SaaS products.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Two key problems addressed:
- it is easy to create content that is of high value, relevance and use to our customers. As CSM, using journeys in email nurture has improved email engagement and progressed next steps.
- visibility over what content shared is engaged with, when, how long and how much. Helps me to prioritise what to improve.

 ### 25. I love it! Easy to use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pamela N. | CPO & Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

It like creating a presentation/web page in 3 seconds. I think it is really intuitive and it just takes you down a "journey" very easily.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

maybe the images look like they have a "light gray" background, instead of "looking like they are part of the background too"

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For now I explored it as a way to give our "investors update", but we haven't actually launched it. We have just explored.

 ### 26. A must-have tool for

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dennis S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

Journey is a platform for storytelling - to craft compelling and coherent narratives that resonate with customers, partners, investors, and other stakeholders. Whether you're using Journey for sales, customer success, or fundraising, you can now tell the stories you need to through a single lens without the friction of breaking up that story across multiple files, emails, or written materials. For our team, Journey has been an incredible resource.

Journey's commitment to user experience and innovation is evident in the quality of the product, and I'm excited to see how it continues to evolve. I highly recommend Journey to anyone looking to elevate their storytelling and engage their audience in a meaningful way.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

There's very little to dislike about Journey. The platform has exceeded my expectations in terms of functionality and ease of use, and their team is constantly iterating on new features and improvements.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In business communication, stories and narratives often get broken up across multiple files, emails, or written materials, leading to fragmented and disjointed messaging. Journey solves this problem by providing a unified platform where users can craft compelling and coherent narratives that can be easily shared with customers, partners, investors, and other stakeholders.

 ### 27. Every business needs Journey

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rey C. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

Journey gives me the ability to create custom microsites for client engagement. I know most people use Journey in the sales process, but we've found it to be super effective for client success.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

I don't know that there's something I dislike. I'd say that the company is still working on building the product to be better but they're good about listening to what clients need and factoring it in their plans. They have a change log and I like that they announce what they're working on. Maybe a public pipeline would be cool, but that's asking a lot out of a company. Gotta keep surprises for users.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Journey, we had assets living in different places and building landing pages took time. Plus, we had no good way of creating multi-step pages. Journey helps us add content in different pages and users can navigate with arrows at the bottom of each page.

 ### 28. An amazing tool for complicated services to introduce potential buyers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert B. | Junior Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

We love the insights journey provides us. Also it gives us the ability to show our potential customers how easy our service can be. It is easy to edit and intuitive to use.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

Different people in our organization have different versions of Journey. We work a lot with embedded Drive videos and their format changes on different screens, staying behind journeys true potential for a great user experience.
We have also noticed on our first trial that Apple users cannot open the videos!

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Breaking down our services by providing a low effort way for our potential clients to grasp how we benefit them. We hope it can further our outreach.

 ### 29. I love Journey

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Investment Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

The immediate simplicity of setting up a basic sales proposal that includes slides, video, text, sharing, analytics and customer support! Extremely fast and effective.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

I appreciate pricing simplicity, but I wish there were a tier between Basic and Pro that would allow me to pay them $5 to $10 per month for using the service. All I need is Basic, for now, but I feel that I owe them something!

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very simple implementation of sales packages that include slides and video (and other media), with sharing and tracking capabilities. The ability to professionally and seemlessly share slides and video in a single Journey is actually a major improvement from what I've used in the past.

 ### 30. Journey is the client pitching software you didn't know you needed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heist C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

As a branding agency, Journey's great for showcasing work to future clients. The ability to embed websites into the journey makes reviewing documents frictionless for the client, allowing them to look over additional work without opening multiple links.

The analytics provided also allow us to understand the client's path through each journey and adjust accordingly. This has been particularly useful when deciding the order of work for clients to review. Without the granularity of Journey's analytics, getting such a rounded picture of our onboarding experience from the client's perspective would not be possible.

Another aspect of Journey that works well for a branding agency is being able to upload additional items as the client is taken through the branding process. This gives the client a centralized platform to view designs as they are created without getting lost in endless email threads. A bonus for us is we also get to see how long a client is looking over the designs proposed and can use that as a talking point during our design sessions with them.

Overall, we highly recommend Journey to creatives as a portfolio tool.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

Thus far, there have been few, if any, downsides to using Journey.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us establish a centralized platform to house work completed for our clients in realtime. By being able to continually update client journey's, it reduces the friction of using email and attachments / sending dropbox links.

 ### 31. A creative story-telling tool that stands out

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

Facts tell, stories sell. The question is, how do you ensure the right story is being told to the right people in your deal cycle, even when you're not in the room?

That's one of the biggest problems Journey is solving for. It's an elegant tool that makes follow ups, business cases and proposals easier, ultimately accelerating your deal cycle. It's 2023, no one wants to read a boring email follow up with a million one-pagers. Journey simplifies this entire process with their easy to use platform. You can use whatever media you like (text, video, pdfs, etc.) and ultimately create a far more personalized experience that leaves an impact. Through their platform, Journey keeps you and your buyer on track and moving the deal in the right direction throughout the entire process.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

Hard to think of any, at least for my use case as an AE. They recently released a big update that made the process of creating a journey even more intuitive, which improved upon an already seamless process. I'm curious as to what they'll do next to make this tool even stickier for sales reps.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

-slow deal cycles
-siloes of information
-pre-existing clunky solutions (email, etc)

 ### 32. At first was skeptical... but it has been a game changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devin H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

When my manager introduced a new tool to our setup, I was naturally skeptical, as we already have a lot of tools at our disposal.

After seeing the ability of Journey and seeing my customer feedback and insights, Journey became crucial to my sales process in a matter of days.

After every demo call, I can create a custom site for my customers instead of sending many attachments that get lost in customers' inboxes, providing a single source of truth for my customers to evaluate our product.

Journey allows me to highly customize each experience for my clients in a matter of minutes.

Love this tool. ( I never leave reviews, but this one deserves it)

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

I haven't experienced any downsides of using Journey.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 33. Most useful GTM tool I found in 2023

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura C. | Co-Founder | Advisor , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

If you have a hybrid PLG - PLS (aka sales assisted) motion, and if you are selling a product that's ~$60K per year you need to have this, because you need to educate the buyer and the buying committee:a landing and a pricing page will NOT be enough.

I like Journey because it's really use to use, it makes the experience personalized and interactive and also integrates w/other tools we are already using like Loom, Hubspot etc. -- I mainly use it for pre-sale but it's also great for onboarding and training.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

The mobile interface can get better, but I am certain it will (the product is already pretty great). Then again, most buyers are probably interacting with Journey from their laptop, as they are like not buying $60K software from their phones..

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jorney is perfect for hybrid PLG - PLS (aka sales assisted) motion -- Which I think is where the industry is going -- most companies are starting to have both. Again, if you are selling a product that costs more than $15K/year, most people are not going to put that on their credit cards... so you actually need to educate buyers and the buying committee.

Personally, Journey is helping me a ton with both our pre-sale effort and cross sell motion (we send journeys to current customers as a way to educate them on an additional software and really explain the benefits). Our CS team is also building out Journeys for onboarding

 ### 34. Incredible platform!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carmen B. | Awetomate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

I use Journey to present services and I just love the beautiful layout and easy to navigate content I can customise for each client. It has literally saved me HOURS of human time.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

Honestly nothing to dislike. I'd have to make something up

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I present my demos using Journey. Clients often need to revisit some of the content I present, and they also share this among their team members. I update journeys based on client requirements which cuts out clunky email threads and miscommunication.

 ### 35. Journey has been a revelation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clay W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

It makes delivering gated content to prospects a much more valuable exercise by allowing us to gather insights into how they interact with what we send.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

Nothing of note! It's been a very smooth process getting up and running with journey, and the customer support is excellent.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Journey is helping us more intelligently deliver content and allowing us to gain valuable intel into prospect behaivor. The personalization components also support our ABM efforts.

 ### 36. Journey is dream brought to reality

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian C. | Director, Sales, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

The platform is easy on the eyes and makes the information download process a cinch for both prospects/clients and the reps sending. Best yet, it makes your expectation setting easy and straightforward while also making your company look well organized and put together!

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

Honestly, nothing yet. There are some super minor cosmetic features that could be added but the simplicity for me is key and I think adding too many new features could take away from the user experience.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting concise information like pricing, overviews, FAQ's, Customer Surveys, Success Stories, etc to the stakeholders of a company. Yes, being able to quickly template and get them out is huge. Also seeing when the client is looking at them and for how long is incredible insight.

 ### 37. Transformed the way I interact with potential clients

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

Journey has revolutionized how I follow up and share information during deal cycles.

No more long emails with 5+ links - I've seen a significant boost in follow-up engagement when sending a Journey vs. our standard follow-up email template.

This is also just the beginning; I haven't rolled out many helpful use cases yet.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

Nothing to dislike; Journey is a fantastic product!

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cluttered follow-up emails, links to important information being lost, difficulty multi-threading and sharing value props during the sales process.

Journey is a true differentiator for sales teams and the future of how sellers and buyers will share information.

 ### 38. Simplifies user onboarding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

The user interface is easy to navigate and quickly set up a Journey. This platform helps consolidate multiple sources of information and content into one easy link to share with users onboarding onto a new platform. The engagement tracking feature will be helpful to track content popularity and allow us to iterate and improve. The free Basic subscription plan is a great way to try out the platform and understand the nuances before converting to a paid account.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

Nothing as of now... All is good so far.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consolidating targeted training and onboarding resources into one simple link.

 ### 39. Great insights into your buying team while keeping everything in one place!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

I like how Journey let's to tell the full story of your interactions with prospective customers and let's them visit your shared narrative over time in a linear way without having to search through countless email threads to find the documentation, slide decks and links you've sent.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

It would be great to have a dedicated mutual action plan list that has the ability to assign due dates!

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, Journey solves the problem of creating and maintaining a cohesive narrative with prospects without the ability to securely keep all shared files in one place and make them easily accessible without becoming fragmented in email threads.

 ### 40. Beautiful way to share docs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ignacio P. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

The stats are the best. It helps to improve or remove unnecesesary things. Customer support is excellent.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

The arrows in v1 were a little confusing, but with v2 that isn't an issue anymore

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing docs

 ### 41. Most professional alternative to DocSend we've found.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

Journey doesn't gouge out your wallet. As a small business with limited capital, we appreciate Journey's platform allowing us to send pitch decks, presentations, and other correspondence to clients for free.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

Links in PDF documents aren't clickable from our experience. This isn't the end of the world, but it would be a nice feature to work on. Also, it'd be great if we could send direct links to presentations, similar to DocSend. for a more streamlined process for viewers.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Products like DocSend charge outrageous prices for the ability to send presentations to clients. In Journey, we've found a professional alternative that satisfies our needs.

 ### 42. Amazing product for startup founders to present their companies!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Givi B. | CEO, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

Possibility to embed all kinds of information about your company, including presentations, links, media, calendar etc.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

Everything in general works great. There are little UX issues, which is in process to be fixed, as far as I am concerned.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a startup founder main goal is to somehow present your idea shortly to the investor with one link. Journey helps me to sum up all the info I have in one link and easily track it anytime it will be opened by the receiver.

 ### 43. Fun tool to easily create presentations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** keith s. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

It was so easy to create the presentation. Having it be able to index my website and pull out revelant content made it mushh easier. Beiing able to customoze it and feed it data so people could type question at the end and get real time answers is amazing.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

I can not think of anything at this time. It was very easy to use.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to ealsy create content

 ### 44. Ideas are quick to implement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Günter S. | Consulting und Support, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

Uncomplicated
Logical structure
no unnecessary gimmicks
easy to access and navigate for the viewer

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

too little adaptation to my CI
Fonts are terrible
Apple Keynotes only implementable via workaround

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

a quick overview of my services
Video integration and presentation
Acquisition

 ### 45. Personal assistant + designer + Logic layer + ESP = Journey

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian B. | Sales Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

I could write about all the things that Journey and the team have done for busienss, BUT I think the best way to highlight what this software has meant to us can be summed up in one word ......Necessary!

This software has helped us raise our seed round, sign up some of our first customers, faciliate partnerhsips with large palyers in our space and beyond! As a founder if you are not using this software you really need to! Plus the team is incredible!

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

I would say the first version lacked on the reporting UI front (if I am reaching for something), but that was quickly an old problem with their new UI/UX push :). So I guess nothing.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralized and simplified! The solution acts as an autonomous logic layer between ideation and deployment. Meaning, the software helps to stay organized and acts as an almost full time BD rep for us. We are able to use intelligence throughout our outbound strategy right now because of Journey.

 ### 46. So much better than emails with a gazillion hyperlinks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter H. | Director of Sales and Partnerships, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

I'm getting so much per engagement with my content now that I'm using journey. Previously I would send follow-up emails with five or more hyperlinks to resources. There is a very minimal tracking and I imagine minimal engagement after anyone hit the first link. Journeys a really cool software that helps me compile all my resources for my customers in a very customized bespoke way.

My favorite feature is the ability to create a custom URL for every single client. It really feels like going the extra mile. Because of journey, I believe I'm getting more engagement on my proposals and thus increasing the likelihood of closing more deals.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

I imagine they're working on this, but some aspects of journey feel a little clunky. I'd ideally like to see an integration with Google sheets and quicker ways to share this link with customers.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem the journey is solving for me is creating customized proposals with all necessary resources in one place, for my customers. It benefits me by saving time and looking more professional.

 ### 47. Helping our tiny startup do big things!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

I really enjoy the flexibility of the platform. I've been a "user" for over six months now, but Journey has really stepped it up in the past quarter or so with massive upgrades.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

What is included in the free Journey account vs what automatically moves you to a paid user isn't totally clear.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are now starting to work with larger enterprise-level companies that have many stakeholders who care about different things. Journey is allowing us to speak to all of them in one cohesive setting.

 ### 48. Journey - A new way to showcase your offer

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julian D. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

The flexibility with which different sources can be integrated into one reader experience. I can't wait to see how the chatbot develops.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

It would be great to be able to upload sources and hide them from the reader's view.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Embedding chat into the marketing and sales process (pre-sale) and then the client experience of delivery (post sale). It is more productive but also a new way.

 ### 49. User-friendly and great support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

How easy it is to create a Journey and include everything we want to add to it! The interface is very user-friendly and the support team is helpful and prompt in responding to my questions.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

I'm unable to embed a video in the original video but I can do that in 2.0. Other than that both versions are very user-friendly and attractive to use for external parties to interact with.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Journey has provided the Contents on the side of version 2.0 so that we can navigate easily and see all sections on the left-hand side of the screen. Support is very prompt in addressing requests!

 ### 50. Finally, an app that increases productivity without the mess.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin M. | Sales Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Journey?**

What I like most is that this tool truly does increase productivity from a client onboarding perspective. It is straightforward to set up, very easy to share and most importantly, it is impacting my day-to-day in such a positive way.

**What do you dislike about Journey?**

The only downside I see is the reporting behind each Journey. I know robust reporting comes with time, but for now, it is the only thing I can truly say I dislike.

**What problems is Journey solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Journey is decreasing my need for multiple calls while onboarding new clients. This prevents the inevitable mess in communications from having multiple calls, with multiple different teams and contacts. With Journey, I can create our go-to-market plan and send it off to all of the contacts needed for the project and they can share it internally with anyone else who may need eyes on it.
