**What do you like best about IT Glue?**

IT Glue has been especially useful for organizing technical knowledge in a way that stays accessible across the entire support team. The relationship mapping between configurations, passwords, contacts, and procedures helps reduce time spent hunting for information during urgent issues. We also like how flexible the documentation structure is because it allows each client environment to be documented differently without losing consistency. Search functionality and integrations with PSA/RMM platforms also make daily workflows smoother.

**What do you dislike about IT Glue?**

Some sections of the interface can feel cluttered when managing large client environments with a high volume of assets and documentation. Permission granularity could also be improved in certain scenarios where more detailed access separation would be helpful. We have also noticed occasional delays when loading larger documentation sets or switching between heavily populated organizations.

It has significantly improved documentation consistency and technician collaboration across environments.

**What do you like best about IT Glue?**

I really like having documentation in a single, easy-to-use environment with IT Glue. It makes finding things specific to a client or piece of software very helpful, which is a big plus for managing IT documentation. I like how you can integrate with RMM and do a web remote session to use AI to create documentation. The ability to drill down and find documentation for multiple clients can happen within just a few clicks.

**What do you dislike about IT Glue?**

The ability to search and have a more automated flow of reviewing documentation and retrieving documentation and getting it linked to incoming tickets. It can be really difficult to find client specific information unless you know exactly how to search for it. There is sometimes lost time spent there. But I know there are AI improvements and integrations coming.

**What problems is IT Glue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IT Glue helps sys admins and techs document reoccurring problems, streamlining issue resolution. I appreciate having documentation in a single, easy-to-use environment, which makes finding client or software-specific information really helpful. The ability to be able to pull multiple teams together in the same system is really incredible.

After switching roles within my MSP, I begun to use this more and more. The categories are fitting and the tool has the potential to grow this out as much as is needed. Many options as to how you want information conveyed and shared. Certain teams can have certain access and very easy to set up minor customizations

The platform has become more reliable, nothing less to report on.

**What do you like best about IT Glue?**

It keeps everything in one place so I’m not digging through old folders or spreadsheets for passwords and SOPs. The search is fast, and the fact that it links everything together saves me a ton of time when I'm trying to get stuff done.

**What do you dislike about IT Glue?**

Sometimes the search pulls up too much irrelevant stuff if you don't use exact keywords. It can be annoying when you're in a rush and have to sift through old versions of docs to find the current one. The notification system is also a bit of a mess.

**What problems is IT Glue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main thing it solves is just getting everyone on the same page. We used to have info buried in random spreadsheets or just stuck in people's heads, which was a nightmare when someone was out of the office. Now, I don't have to waste twenty minutes hunting for a password or asking around for how a specific site is set up. It’s made our whole workflow way less messy and saves me a massive amount of time on the basic, day-to-day stuff.

**What do you like best about IT Glue?**

I really like the universal search feature in IT Glue; it's a big one for me. It helps me find related information and narrow it down to a specific client, which is really handy when dealing with client-specific issues. The customization options with flexible assets are a great plus too. I also appreciate the ability to share documents publicly with clients, as it enhances client interactions. The @relate function within documents is another standout feature, making it simple to relate items and cross-reference documents. Overall, I've been using IT Glue for years, and it's a really amazing platform.

**What do you dislike about IT Glue?**

The quick notes in IT Glue are very handy, but they have zero versioning control. If someone accidentally deletes a note, you can't restore it unless you have an export of it.

**What do you like best about IT Glue?**

I use IT Glue for storing all documentation related to client organizations, as well as for password management and rotation, which is really helpful. I love using the phone app 'Fusion' to access passwords quickly when I'm on-site at client organizations. I enjoy the ease of use and integration of IT Glue, especially the integrations between Datto RMM and IT Glue. The initial setup was simple, and IT Glue is only as good as the data we input. I find the overall functionality meets our needs well.

**What do you dislike about IT Glue?**

The phone application 'IT Glue' could use some revamping. If I close the phone application for more than a day, I am forced to reauthenticate each time the app opens. It would be 10x better if the app utilized face recognition after the initial login.

Its very easy to use. UI and design of the application works very well and its fluid. Syncing with M365 and Autotask is really useful, adds a large amount to your workflow and helps with documentation.

Their is no native integration with Entra App Registrations. More integrations with Entra/Intune/Azure would be something I want to see in the future.

ITG is a great central location for all kinds of documentation and a password vault, to name just a couple of examples. We use this tool alongside Autotask PSA, and it helps keep everything organized in one place.

The only downside I’ve found with this tool is the monthly cost per license/user.

I find IT Glue pretty convenient and easy to use with its intuitively structured design. I primarily use it for MSP customer management, especially for password management, and it helps in keeping a central location for my customers' data. When I create documents directly in IT Glue, they are formatted nicely and presented easily.

Uploading documentation can be a bit weird with formatting. When I create documents natively in IT Glue, they're formatted nicely and presented easily, but if I upload them, they just sit in a folder and can be downloaded.

It was really easy to set up IT Glue, especially since we had a guide for initial questions. Also, IT Glue works well with Dayto RMM, which we use together.

I like the ability with MFA inside of the existing password objects.

**What do you dislike about IT Glue?**

Search capabilities are still very primitive. Even with the latest AI assistant. Need a better search function like Google webcrawler instead of searching by titles throughout the portal. Not very integrated with asset management without purchasing the feature. Need a Apps & Services section in left pane for encryption key tracking and integration, without having to further customize in other modules.

I like that IT Glue centralizes documentation and makes it easy to find and reference information. I also appreciate the amount and type of information we can store and track along with the documentation for SOPs. It's easy to create and edit documentation and see the change history to the documents. The initial setup was fairly simple with the onboarding service.

The password management feature isn’t as robust as dedicated password managers and I’d like to see improvements in this area.

IT Glue has significantly improved the way we document and share information within our team. By keeping everything—such as client credentials, network diagrams, and procedures—in a single location, it has become much simpler to quickly locate what we need. The integrations with Datto RMM and Autotask are also a real time-saver, as they connect devices and tickets directly to our documentation.

The main drawback is that the initial setup requires some effort to configure properly. However, after everything is set up, it becomes a significant time-saver.

IT Glue addresses the issue of scattered and inconsistent documentation. Previously, important information was dispersed across various tools and files, making it difficult to locate what we needed promptly. IT Glue keeps everything in one place — credentials, client info, network diagrams, and SOPs are easy to find and update. The folder structure and relationship mapping make documentation logical and fast to navigate, especially when jumping between multiple clients. The search is quick, and integrations with PSA and RMM tools save a lot of double-entry. It’s reliable, well-designed, and genuinely improves technician efficiency day to day.

Sometimes the interface feels a bit slow when loading large client data sets, and the permissions model can be tricky to fine-tune for different roles. The password manager works well, but the browser extension could be smoother. Small things, but overall nothing that stops it from being one of the most useful tools in our MSP stack.

Before IT Glue, documentation lived across spreadsheets, OneNote, and random folders. Now everything is centralised and structured — passwords, site details, network info, SOPs, and onboarding steps are easy for any tech to find. It’s cut down a lot of wasted time and made handovers between engineers much smoother. The search and relationships make it easy to jump from a device to related configs or contacts without hunting around.

I really like IT Glue for its ease of use and unique interface. The catchy name is a bonus too. It was pretty easy to set up since we were already familiar with the program, and the support team from IT Glue was very supportive.

There should be more sections and sub-sections added to the IT Glue menu to collect more diverse information related to the client. In every section, we should have an option to add sub-sections and name them as we want, so they can make sense at least internally.

It’s extremely easy to use and implement. Development also seems very active, and it’s made securely storing and accessing our credentials a breeze.  It does take some time to get everything moved over, but the amount of time the onboarding takes to how much time it saves is immense.

There's a fair amount of small UI/UX issues that could be improved.

IE: You cannot re-order categories on the side bar, or set a "default" category to open when you first open the page.

MSPs deal with hundreds to thousands of different credentials, and having a secure but convenient repository to store all of them is 100% necessary.

I have been using IT Glue for a little over 2 years. Lately i have been giving more attention to the home page of the individual organizations we support, specifically the upcoming expirations which allows us to stay on top of renewals in order to avoid service disruptions. The Recently viewed by you overview comes in handy when you are constantly accessing a particular item within a organization. Also the documents feature is great to keep track of relevant client documentations which needs access by my team members and the ability to see revisions and who made the changes and when is a great way to which documents have updated recently and older dated documents may need review to keep them updated.

I still have not seen anything that i think needs improving. Been using it for a little over 2 years and its still reliable and has never gone down once while I'm using it.

Its a very effective password manager, Through datto we can select which ever credentials we need and there is no need to copy and paste like from other password managers that dont properly intergrate.
