The platform is very easy to use and customize to whatever our needs are for that use case. The platform integrates with SSO and our IT security. It is very customizable and the team helps us adapt the platform for our various use cases. **What do you dislike about Ideawake?** Use on devices other than a computer (e.g., tablets or phones) can be tricky at times because there is no app. Screen size can impact ease of use. **What problems is Ideawake solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have been able to customize Ideawake to meet a variety of needs. It is currently used to submit performance improvement ideas, which are executed and posters of the results are submitted for various symposia. The projects (and posters of results) are then judged in the platform. In-person symposia are held and winners are announced there. Those that cannot attend events can view the projects in Ideawake, which has been approved for awarding CEUs to virtual attendees. We use it crowdsource ideas and feedback/comments on a particular idea, gather staff survey data, and collect outside vendor data. The platform has been very adaptable and customizable to meet our needs. This makes us much more efficient and allows us to get feedback from employees across our enterprise, located in several different states. We have used it to judge symposia, which allows for judges to be located across the enterprise and for individuals to judge who could not attend the in-person presentations. We are getting ready to use it to recruit innovative ideas from employees and get those employees into our facilities to turn their ideas into prototypes and other real world use products. ### 12. From minimal IT implementation through a custom program design, the Ideawake team were practical, responsive, and a pleasure to work with - Coby and Hanna are rockstars and provided top-notch customer support. The platform had every capability we needed and flexed to our workflow, scoring criteria, and custom dashboards. After a short overview, our admins were fully comfortable fine-tuning the back end. On the front end, usability was stellar—we didn’t receive a single question about logging in, posting, commenting, or voting. We set clear KPIs and the Ideawake dashboards were able to mirror them, making it easy to track progress and focus follow-ups. We also suggested a couple enhancements; Ideawake incorporated them into their release cycle, and we’ve seen steady improvements over the past few months. Bottom line: we exceeded our goals, drove broad engagement, and surfaced high-quality ideas now feeding our product roadmaps. During our implementation phase of the product we would occasionally come across minor bugs, but the Ideawake team was quick to incorporate them into their development cycles and inform when it could expect to be fixed. A workaround was usually offered as a stopgap during this period. **What problems is Ideawake solving and how is that benefiting you?** Previously, we had a very disorganised way of working with ideas. Employees in our lines of business often didn't know where to go with an idea to get help, funding, or technical resources to develop it. Implementing Ideawake allowed us to align our different SVP areas around the same process for submitting ideas for consideration, which ensured that the teams responsible for development/execution of new ideas received an idea that was well matured and described according to criteria that we specified. The tool is broken up into 4 simple system roles with different privileges across those roles. When it comes to idea management, it has the right objects in place to take an idea from submission to execution. We used Ideawake to support a pretty large and well-established innovation lab at an enterprise-sized government agency. They had a robust process and Ideawake was able to help support/replicate it. **What do you dislike about Ideawake?** While configuration activities are simple to conduct by someone new to the system, its simplicity can sometimes come at the cost of full-on customization. We had to make some compromises in how we stood up the system to make sure it mimicked our existing idea management process correctly. Additionally, we have found multiple bugs throughout the system. Nothing that is detrimental to our operation or use of the system, but more so with cosmetics and buttons not working / things not showing up on users' screens. The Ideawake team is very responsive and quick to get developers to look into these bugs though.
