What do you like best about Horizons?

Horizons is how smooth and dependable their Employer of Record process is across multiple countries. The onboarding was clear, compliant, and much faster than setting up local entities ourselves.

A big part of this positive experience was the support we received from Bala. He was extremely responsive, patient, and proactive in walking us through every step, from compliance questions to payroll timelines. What do you dislike about Horizons?

There is very little to dislike overall. As with most global EOR providers, FX rates can sometimes differ slightly from publicly visible mid-market rates, but Horizons has been transparent about how these rates are applied and what they cover in terms of banking, compliance, and operational risk. What do you like best about Horizons?

Easy-to-use platform and excellent customer service. Whenever I have a question or need a resource for myself or even for an employee, they are quick to respond. I like that I can submit my questions through their portal or reach out to them directly by email. The majority of the time, I receive an answer within the same day. If it is a more complex question, they reach out to me, letting me know they are looking into it and will get back to me as soon as possible. They are always quick to respond and so friendly. I use their portal at least once a month, if not more often. They also have great resources to find many of the answers you need without having to reach out to a representative. Horizons is really easy to use and very intuitive, which makes onboarding smooth even for new users. The interface is clean and well-organized, so it’s simple to navigate between features. Payroll is always reliable and processed on time, and their support team is quick to respond whenever help is needed.

Each section of the platform, like leave management and expense tracking, is clearly labeled and easy to understand. You don’t have to go through multiple menus just to find something. What do you dislike about Horizons?

Overall, each page in Horizons is helpful and easy to use. However, it would be even better if the time tracking feature had an extra tab for project details like project name, client info, milestones, and notes. I love using Horizons for tracking personal data included in my contract, as well as my annual leaves and details regarding my international contract. It provides an easy and fast solution without the need to worry about legal documentation, which is particularly valuable. The platform is fast and intuitive, even for new users like me. I appreciate that any necessary confirmation is sent promptly. The customer care center’s fast response is impressive, and I find the app easy to navigate. The initial setup of Horizons was very easy and intuitive, making the onboarding process smooth. I appreciate the simple web interface of Horizons, especially after the update, which makes it easy to request vacation days and access the pay slip history. This feature greatly simplifies the management of daily work activities and improves efficiency. Additionally, I like the prompt assistance and the active team in resolving any doubts, such as uncertainties regarding various points of the contract or clarifications on medical assistance. I find that there is a lack of multilingual support. A direct chat with Italian staff would be useful. Furthermore, even though the contract refers to Italian law, some points could be detailed more thoroughly, such as public holidays and the number of vacation days. The payroll team's overall responsive rate is not fast, with extreme delay in the past.
