Thanks for reviewing HAProxy. HAProxy 2.3 brought support for UDP syslog in 2020 and the team plans to support additional UDP protocols on a per-protocol basis, with DNS being next. The HAProxy ALOHA appliance currently provides generic UDP support using LVS.
