"The best app for onboarding"
What do you like best about GUIDEcx?

We are using GuideCx for all our projects daily. It is useful in onboarding process tracking, milestones and templates, customer direction and communication, Internal vs external messages, assigning people from inside the company and from the customer company for tasks and milestones, time tracking capabilities, and automated process workflows. Additionally, Time Tracking is also implemented going smoothly and is very helpful for our task tracking. Customer Support is prompt. It is easy to implement, and customize and is quite flexible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GUIDEcx?

Android app still requires lots of work.

The fields of emails need to be worked out properly.

The email should have the email ID of the person making the comment or note, and not the project manager every time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless, Transparent Onboarding"
What do you like best about GUIDEcx?

I use GCX daily whether directly in the program or through it's integration in Salesforce. The UI is really smooth and really outlines what has been and needs to be done in regards to getting customers onboarded onto our product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GUIDEcx?

This is a personal preference rather than an actual issue, however, I dislike the due dates and the due date notifications I receive. This would help helpful under a lot of cirumstances, however, I personally don't utilize it in the project I work on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Organize Your Projects"
What do you like best about GUIDEcx?

It's extremely easy to use for the clients that we partner with. It helps us to ensure we're checking all the boxes to get our clients to a successful onboarding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GUIDEcx?

One thing that can create confusion is that our clients don't always know that they need to "@" us when making posts or asking questions in the platform. It might be a couple days before we realize that the client has raised a question for us. If there was functionality that prompted them to tag one of our team members that would be a great feature add. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Elan Maynez of GUIDEcx

Hi Ben!

We're happy to hear that your team has been better able to stay on course and streamlined with GUIDEcx. Our goal is to help you work better with your customers! Thank you for your feedback on prompting clients to @mention you in the notes. The assigned project manager should be receiving notifications whether they are @mentioned or not (assuming they haven't turned that notification setting off), however I'm not sure if you're in the GUIDEcx community, so I've created this as product feedback for you. I recommend checking it out!

"GuideCX provides an efficient and timely Customer Onboarding Experience!"
What do you like best about GUIDEcx?

I love how customizable it is. It basically is a toolbox of building blocks where you can create a highly customized user and customer experience. My favorite part is the visual use interface that is bright and intuitive. There are different views of your tasks available, my fav is the "kanban-like" view where you can use your mouse and drag and drop tasks around the project. GuideCX's interactions with the customer are very flexible as well. They can interact with their tasks via email, a mobile app or logging into the GuideCX platform.

I like the company because they are very responsive to their customers. They are continually adding features - built from suggestions by their customers. The huge addition in 2023 was going live with an embedded program that allows us to interface our data with most all of our other platforms such as HubSpot, Slack, Calendly and Zendesk Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GUIDEcx?

Features that I would like that it doesn't have yet include 1) ability to have a "task library" that you can build a custom project plan easily and 2) ability to better customize the system generated emails to customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Elan Maynez of GUIDEcx

Jill, thank you so much for sharing your positive experience with GUIDEcx! We're glad to hear that you find the platform customizable and user-friendly. We appreciate your feedback on Recipe Builder and that you've found value in connecting GUIDEcx to your tech stack. We built that one with your success in mind!

Also, big thank you for your feedback on features you'd like to see. A task/template library feature is planned to be released later this year (It's already been discovered, designed, and all that's left is development!) In regards to customizing system emails, that is a beta feature you can turn on within Labs. If you need help exploring it, let us know!

"The Flexible Tool We Rely On"
What do you like best about GUIDEcx?

GuideCX has allowed us to segment the types of projects we need to manage easily. We rely on GuideCX to onboard our customers, as well as manage on off bespoke projects.

The support team and reporting team has been a great help in making sure issues are quickly and painlessly addressed, often going above and beyond in helping us address our enterprises specific needs. GuideCX makes it easy for our team to log their hours and execute tasks, as well as hold customers accountable to what they need to do to ensure the projects are moving forward with the speed and quality they demand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GUIDEcx?

The biggest issue is duplicating tasks and easily sending CSAT notifications (and resending them). Many of our projects cannot be fully templatized as they do not have strict end dates, and the tasks will have to be constantly duplicated. This process currently is quite cumbersome and can slow us down in the day to day flow.

While it is great that CSAT is available to send and can be done on two levels, it is not as transparent as we would like to ensure customers are reminded to fill out the survey, and we do not have the ability to send them as needed or resend them as one offs if they failed to complete them. This makes data collection of CSAT difficult Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Elan Maynez of GUIDEcx

We're thrilled to hear that GUIDEcx has been instrumental in helping you manage your projects and onboard customers. Our support and reporting teams are dedicated to providing top-notch assistance, and we're glad to hear they've been able to address your specific needs.

We appreciate your feedback about the task duplication and CSAT notifications, and we'll definitely take that into consideration for future improvements. We'd love to hear more about In fact, I shared your CSAT enhancement ideas with our product team. You can upvote the idea here: https://onboardingnetwork.guidecx.com/ideas/csat-reminders-resend-function-472. As far as your task duplication feedback, we have some future enhancements currently being worked on that should address your use-case! Stay tuned for that release.

Thank you for sharing the problems GUIDEcx is solving for your team, and we're pleased to hear about the positive impact it's having on your project management and profitability.

"Not perfect, but of the options out there it's pretty good."
What do you like best about GUIDEcx?

Relatively friendly UI for non-tech-savvy customers. Our Project Managers work primarily with non-tech-savvy customers so ease of use is key. GuideCX has several customer views available depending on preference.

Recipe Builder is a newer feature but seems to be a good leap forward in functionality and integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GUIDEcx?

Bulk editing in-flight projects is a HUGE pain. You can edit a template, but cannot push that to live projects. We have 450+ active projects at a time so bulk editing is always on our list of wishes.

Attachments on tasks are helpful, and live links seem like a great idea however in practice these links regularly break without explanation. Because of the above issue with not being able to bulk update projects attachments have to be fixed one by one. Sticking with static docs seems to be more reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Project Management Tool: Constantly Expanding"
What do you like best about GUIDEcx?

I love the ability to add checklists and attachments directly into tasks. This allows up to streamline our processes for specific pieces of setup and QA. I also enjoy that you can customize and have multiple different types of project plans. My one suggestion would be to have the due dates automatically update when the project end date is updated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GUIDEcx?

I do not like that dates do not update on tasks automatically when a project end date has been updated. it causes a lot of manual adjustments, when based on the timeline, it should be easy to identify the new updated dates, and mass update when the project end date is updated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Danni Thaw of GUIDEcx

Thank you for your review of GUIDEcx! We're glad to hear that you love the ability to add checklists and attachments directly into tasks, as well as the customization and multiple project plan options.
