## About Fulcrum
Fulcrum replaces ERP, MRP, QMS, and MES with a Manufacturing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform, allowing small and mid-sized manufacturers to improve efficiency through workflow optimization and automated data collection. Fulcrum delivers value through a fully digital, paperless workflow leveraging machine learning, automation, predictive analytics, and advanced heuristics to drive throughput and profitability. Software doesn't have to be complicated. The software you use in your personal life (Facebook, Uber, Amazon, etc.) is intuitive, and you don't need training to understand how it works. Why should your business software be any different? We're helping manufacturers transition to cutting-edge, future-proof software that lowers the stress of everyday operations, gets more out of good employees who are difficult to hire, automates tedious tasks, and operates more efficiently than what exists in the manufacturing software space today.

## Fulcrum Reviews
 ### 1. Fulcrum Aligns Teams with Clear, Visual Value Stream Mapping

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen R. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

Fulcrum intuitively connects upstream and downstream, and it really gets everyone rowing in the same direction. It’s a visually based platform that clearly value stream maps a manufacturing operation. It also links the shop floor to the front office, giving real traction to ideas and improvements. The interface captures tribal knowledge and helps connect the team, so information and progress don’t get stuck in silos.

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

The invoicing feature needs more search options to make it easier to locate specific invoices, and it would also help to have a way to link invoices to packing lists.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping scale our company by leveraging the knowledge of veterans and making that knowledge accessible. Fulcrum feels like a touchstone for developing future leaders in manufacturing.

 ### 2. Transformative Workflow Management Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen T. | Senior Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

I appreciate Fulcrum's ability to streamline workflows and automate decision-making. The ease of use and its powerful features are noteworthy. It helped create transparency and a single source of truth for our production line, which was a huge improvement considering we used to rely heavily on paper filing systems. The initial setup for the pilot was very easy, and I'm impressed by how it has the potential to shift our company from a people-dependent and paper-driven model to a more process-driven, data-supported system. Overall, I find Fulcrum to be a powerful tool when it comes to refining workflows.

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

Nothing of note. I would like quoting functionality to be more automated and robust, but it's still an improvement from our particular current tools.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fulcrum helped automate and streamline workflows, remove bottlenecks, and create a single source of truth for our production line. It moved us from a paper-driven model to a process-driven, data-supported system, improving scheduling and throughput while enhancing transparency and ease of use.

 ### 3. Seamless Quoting to Invoicing with Fulcrum

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessie F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

I love that Fulcrum is a single source software program that handles everything from quoting to invoicing. It streamlines our quoting and order intake process. I also appreciate how it allows us to build the BOM and routing for estimating and converts quotes to orders, seamlessly turning them into jobs where we can accurately track costs and margins. The ease of use, accountability, and user-friendly nature of Fulcrum are big pluses. The initial setup was super easy with the help from Joe and Allison.

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

The software is ever evolving which is a challenge but it gives peace of mind that our challenges and suggestions are being heard and action is taking place.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fulcrum streamlines our quoting and order intake, managing the process from quote to invoice in one program. It helps build BOM and routing for estimating, converting quotes to orders, and tracking job costs and margins accurately.

 ### 4. Easy to Use, Great QBO Connection and Quick Access to Job & Report Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael R. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

Ease of use. Connection to QBO, ability to see where a job is live and now that Archie is live, easily asking for reports and it giving suggestions. All our information is super easy to access

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

Job Tracking window doesn't show if you are logged in or not and that causes problems when starting or stopping the timer, picking material or completing a task.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Intergration with QBO, live data, easier to find information when needed. Pricing is great too compared to other ERP we have looked at.

Support has been awesome. Very fast response

 ### 5. Fulcrum Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin W. | President of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

We have been using Fulcrum ERP for approximately 18 months in our aerospace manufacturing environment, and the experience has been very positive overall.

Fulcrum provided us with a dedicated onboarding integration specialist who guided us through the setup process. This individual was not only highly knowledgeable about the software, but also flexible and open-minded in helping us align Fulcrum with our aerospace-specific requirements. That willingness to adapt was critical in ensuring that we could maximize the system’s potential from the start.

Fulcrum stands out as a job shop ERP system designed with manufacturers in mind. One of the strengths of the platform is that it allows customers to either build their processes from scratch or migrate data from an existing ERP system. The software itself is robust, intuitive, and comprehensive, covering a wide range of functions needed to run a manufacturing operation efficiently.

While Fulcrum cannot customize every feature for each individual customer, they actively listen to client feedback and often incorporate widely requested changes into future updates. Compared to other ERP systems we’ve used, Fulcrum demonstrates a clear commitment to leveraging new technology and adapting to industry changes.

After the onboarding phase, Fulcrum transitions customers to a dedicated customer service representative. This continuity has been refreshing — it’s much more efficient to have a consistent point of contact rather than working with a different support agent every time. Both the onboarding team and the ongoing support staff have been knowledgeable, professional, and responsive.

Fulcrum has proven to be one of the most forward-thinking and comprehensive ERP platforms we have worked with. However, as with any ERP investment, success depends heavily on the effort put in by the customer. Clean data and thorough employee training are essential. I cannot overstate the importance of working closely with the onboarding specialist to ensure the system is configured correctly and that your team understands how to use its tools to their fullest potential.

Fulcrum has exceeded our expectations as a modern ERP solution for manufacturers. Their commitment to technology, customer input, and professional support make them stand out in a crowded field. We would recommend Fulcrum to other manufacturers seeking a flexible, evolving, and customer-focused ERP system.

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

Like most ERPs, there is a significant learning curve. Success really depends on the quality of training and how disciplined the company is about keeping data clean. The onboarding phase requires a lot of focus and coordination. If a company isn’t fully engaged during this time, it can limit how effectively the system is set up for long-term success.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Fulcrum, information may have been scattered across spreadsheets, paper travelers, or legacy ERP systems. Fulcrum centralizes everything into one platform, reducing duplicate data entry and errors. Fulcrum helps us better manage work orders, scheduling, and capacity planning. This ensures we know where each job is in the process and can adjust quickly if priorities change.

 ### 6. Has helped our company make huge strides in traceability, job processing, and going full paperless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James P. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

Pros:

Looks great

Intuitive for those familiar with computers, laid out in an easy to navigate way for those that aren’t

Fast job processing speed, and fast repeat part reorders and previous job traceability

Paperless nature make in-process print revisions easy to execute
Everything is connected, so if you have a PO#, Quote#, job#, part#, or even raw material #, you can find your way to the information you need in the system.

The inventory system is very transparent, and it has all sorts of options for note taking when it comes to inventory changes.

Customer support is spectacular.

The launch process went very smoothly for us, and having personal support assigned to us is fantastic. Any issues we come across are resolved very quickly.

The dev team is on top of it, with frequent updates, many of them being directly from customer feedback. We've been with the company less than 6 months, and at least 1 of our requests has already been implemented as a feature, along with several other changes we wanted already being in the pipes before we suggested them.

Updated as of 9/26/25:
All of the above still applies and is going strong. Still love the ERP, and any customers or auditors that come in are always impressed with how quickly I can find information in the system. 100% still recommend

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

Cons:
The reports section is the weakest section for us. It does not output the data in a way that can be quickly read (Pretty charts and meters), although it does give you most of what you need to generate those charts and reports. The support staff is also excellent about generating custom reports that automatically update when something the system won’t make a report for is needed.

Associating multiple jobs to one PO is more limited than we would like, but that is on the roadmap

Once a job has been started, edits to it are limited. This has already been improved by small updates since we started using it though and I have no doubts it will be fully addressed.

The fully online nature of the system means that an internet outage leaves you in the dark. Nothing to be done about this though.

The scheduling system is decent, but you need to accurately estimate production times for each part/job for it to be useful (as is expected), and the display in the schedule tab is not as easy to read as I would like. (I like Gantt charts) It does lay out upcoming due jobs in the jobs tab via sorting by production date though, and that's still loads better than how we were handling it previously.

Updated as of 9/26/25:
They have made a lot of progress on the reports section!
Associating multiple jobs to one PO is no longer an issue
Edits are still someone limited once a job has started, but improvements have been made in this area that make it leaps and bounds better than when I first wrote this review
Web browser nature of the software can still sometimes cause issues in bad service days, but again, not on Fulcrum.
Still not where I would like it to be with the scheduling system, but I will admit I have not come bac around to trying to use it lately.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fulcrum supports our job shop environment better than any other software that I looked at. The traceability, notes sections, and how everything ties together makes it tremendously easier for us to generate and execute a new "Hot" job without losing traceability or causing too much confusion on the floor

Still Valid as of 9/26/25!

 ### 7. Fulcrum Delivers Outstanding Support and Seamless MRP Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John H. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

Fulcrum has been a great addition to our operation. We were struggling with other MRP systems and Fulcrum has been able to close the gaps that were present. The support and onboarding can't be beat. Fulcrum sets up meeting with designers and engineers on their team to identify issues that we are experiencing and actually implement changes.

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

The main thing that I would like to see is a broader material database or one which can be modified by end user.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fulcrum allows us to monitor work in progress and manage materials better than any other system we have tried.

 ### 8. From JobBOSS to Fulcrum: A Game-Changer for Our Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason S. | Vice President, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

Making the switch to Fulcrum has been a total game-changer for our team. Moving on from JobBOSS was something we were a little nervous about, but the transition was incredibly smooth, and the improvements we’ve seen across the board are truly amazing.

One of the biggest wins has been finally getting our inventory under control. It used to be a constant headache, but now we have a handle on it. Fulcrum gives us the visibility and tracking we need to manage our stock with confidence and accuracy.

The front office has been just as impressed. Our quoting and order entry used to be a bit of a maze, but now it's so quick and easy. The intuitive interface got rid of a ton of manual work and confusing steps, so our team can respond to customers faster and with way more accuracy.

Best of all, our scheduling and on-time delivery have gotten so much better. The advanced tools make it easy to see what’s happening on the shop floor, so it's way easier to plan out our work and get things done when we said we would.

In short, Fulcrum is a solid, easy-to-use system that’s solved some of our biggest problems. It's not just a new piece of software; it's a tool that's made us faster, more competitive, and ready for whatever’s next. We couldn't be happier with our decision.

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

Fulcrum has improved tremendously since we signed on. Since they launch new features all the time, you will sometimes run into bugs or workflow issues due to updates. So far they have been minor and the support team is excellent. Usually resolved within hours and at worse a day or two. This is in contrast to JobBOSS which never had updates, but was super stable.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Telling our production team what to work on and when. Streamlining our production processes and inventory so that we maximize throughput and on time delivery.

 ### 9. Powerful ERP built for modern manufacturing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam Z. | Automation & Data Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

Fulcrum is one of the few ERPs designed with manufacturers in mind instead of being retrofitted from another industry. The interface is intuitive, implementation is straightforward, and the cloud-first architecture makes it easy to integrate with other systems. Features like scheduling, job tracking, and live production dashboards give our team real-time visibility. The API is robust, which has allowed us to connect Fulcrum directly to our quality, analytics, and automation systems. Customer support is strong and receptive to feedback, which makes us feel like a partner rather than just another account.

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

Because Fulcrum is still innovating quickly, not every feature is as deep as older ERP platforms. Some reporting and analytics require building out custom solutions through the API instead of being native. There can also be growing pains when large updates roll out, and occasionally we run into edge cases where functionality lags behind our complex shop-floor needs. That said, the pace of development is rapid, and the product improves month over month.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fulcrum gives us a true end-to-end view of production in a way that legacy ERPs never could. Before Fulcrum, we struggled with siloed data, late visibility into jobs, and difficulty keeping our schedule aligned with real shop floor conditions. Now we have real-time job tracking, predictive scheduling, and integrated purchasing tied directly to operations. This has reduced late jobs, improved communication between departments, and helped us make faster, data-driven decisions. The API has been especially valuable, allowing us to extend Fulcrum into quality, analytics, and vendor scorecarding. Overall, Fulcrum helps us maintain control of a complex, high-mix, low-volume environment.

 ### 10. A True Partner in Efficiency and Growth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah D. | Director Of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

Working with Fulcrum has been a game changer for our business. Their software has saved us significant time and money by streamlining processes and improving efficiency across the board. Beyond the technology, the people at Fulcrum have been phenomenal—knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely invested in our success. It’s rare to find a partner that delivers both exceptional software and outstanding support, but Fulcrum does exactly that. Highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

We only wished we found Fulcrum sooner..

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fulcrum has helped our machine shop eliminate the headaches of manual scheduling, quoting, and job tracking. With everything connected in one system, we now have real-time visibility into production, materials, and costs, which saves us time and money while improving accuracy. The paperless workflows and quality tracking have also streamlined our shop floor and made audits much easier. Overall, it’s given us clearer insights into profitability and helped us operate more efficiently.

 ### 11. Essential Tool for Rigorous Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew S.

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

I like the ability to look up any project in Fulcrum and see where it is at in the process, including an estimated completion date. Being able to see up-to-the-minute status of each piece of equipment helps me quickly identify bottlenecks. I also appreciate that Fulcrum consistently improves and adds new features, addressing my initial complaints. Additionally, Fulcrum integrates with our accounting software, Netsuite, which is a big plus.

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

The quoting side is pretty basic but it is on thier road map for umorovement

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fulcrum helps track project progress and maintain accurate backlog and lead time metrics, providing up-to-the-minute status and identifying bottlenecks.

 ### 12. Centralized, Streamlined, Insightful

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom Z. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

Fulcrum ERP has been a game-changer for our team. It’s given us a centralized hub for key information, eliminating the need to chase data across multiple systems. Our quoting process is now faster and more consistent, saving time and reducing errors. Most importantly, Fulcrum has given us real visibility into what it truly takes to get a project out the door, helping us plan smarter and operate more efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

Fulcrum ERP has been a solid tool for managing our operations, though not without challenges. Integration with our accounting system has been difficult, and changing dates across multiple locations can disrupt workflow. Many of these struggles were self-induced as we learned and set things up. Despite that, Fulcrum has improved our visibility and organization, and with thoughtful setup it has strong potential.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fulcrum offers us a centralized system that we can access both in the office and while on the go, providing valuable insights whenever we need them.

 ### 13. Best in Class MRP

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe E. | President, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

Switching to Fulcrum has been one of the best operational decisions we’ve made for our business. As a custom jewelry manufacturer with complex workflows, we needed a system that could handle real-time job tracking, precious metal inventory management, and dynamic scheduling—Fulcrum has exceeded our expectations on every front.

The platform is intuitive and modern, making it easy for our team to adopt quickly. The real-time dashboards and reporting give us instant visibility into our shop floor, helping us identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency. What used to take hours of manual tracking is now automated, and our team has the confidence that the data is always accurate and up to date.

Fulcrum has also helped us streamline communication between departments. From sales to production to shipping, everyone is working from the same source of truth. That alignment has improved on-time delivery, reduced errors, and ultimately enhanced the customer experience we provide.

The support team behind Fulcrum is outstanding—they’re responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive in helping us maximize the system’s capabilities. They clearly understand the challenges of manufacturing and are constantly improving the platform with features that matter.

Overall, Fulcrum has transformed how we run our business. It’s not just software—it’s a true partner in our growth and efficiency. I would highly recommend it to any manufacturer looking to modernize their operations and gain a competitive edge.

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

While Fulcrum has been a game-changer for us, its constant stream of new features can feel a bit overwhelming at times. That said, it’s clear the team is committed to continuous improvement, and we appreciate knowing the software is always evolving to better support manufacturers like us.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

•	Unclear True Costs: Before Fulcrum, it was difficult to accurately capture labor, material, and overhead costs on each piece we manufactured. We often relied on estimates instead of real data.
	•	Limited Shop Floor Visibility: Tracking progress across multiple jobs required manual check-ins, spreadsheets, and paper travelers, which slowed us down and left room for error.
	•	Disconnected Departments: Sales, production, and shipping weren’t always on the same page, leading to miscommunication, delays, and occasional missed deadlines.
	•	Inefficient Scheduling: Managing workloads and prioritizing jobs was reactive rather than proactive, making it hard to fully optimize capacity.

Benefits We’re Seeing with Fulcrum
	•	True Costing Accuracy: We now have real-time visibility into the actual costs of each job—including labor and materials—allowing us to price more confidently and protect margins.
	•	Shop Floor Insights: Dashboards show us exactly where each job is in production, helping us quickly identify bottlenecks and adjust.
	•	Stronger Alignment: Everyone works from the same data, reducing errors and improving collaboration between departments.
	•	Improved Efficiency & Delivery: Scheduling is smarter and more proactive, resulting in better on-time performance and higher throughput.
	•	Scalable Growth: The system provides us with the visibility and control we need to grow without losing track of costs or quality.

 ### 14. Best ERP in machine and fabrication space

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cres F. | Managing Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

What do I dislike about Fulcrum? Honestly, not much. The software is designed like a modern SaaS platform, which I appreciate. We operate several shops, each using different ERPs, and Fulcrum stands out as the best among them. I wish we could implement it across all our locations. The service provided is exceptional, and their pace of product updates and innovation is far ahead of the competition. I would strongly urge anyone to think carefully before choosing another ERP in this space.

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

Nothing. All positive. I would have liked if they would have come out with bar coding earlier, but they have done it. They listen to their customers.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A full ERP that is intutitive and built on modern SaaS architecture.

 ### 15. Fulcrum is amazing

Fulcrum's interface is very user friendly while allowing management to gather insights into the company that were previously unavailable through other providers. Their team is top notch and helped us integrate to near full utilization while helping us with best business practices

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

Fulcrum can be slow at times but it has seemed like this issue has gotten better

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inventory management has been a huge success with Fulcrum as well as tracking work throughout the shop

 ### 16. Very good experience.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

Well thought out, intuitive platform shortens both the learning curve for the executive team and the onboarding curve for associates. Fulcrum's robust quoting module streamlines quoting and BOM configuration for one off assemblies and homogenizes repetitive assemblies with easy access to Rev creation to capture client review red lines.
The project manager that was assigned to us was knowledgeable and very proficient.

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

To be transparent, the only piece we struggled with was the integration into our accounting software - but to be fair, we pushed Fulcrum to integrate to what was for them, a non-traditional accounting software.
but they figured it out.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manufacturing data capture, streamlining estimating and quoting process

 ### 17. Modern Job Tracking, Scheduling, and Accounting/Inventory

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

The modernized job tracking, scheduling, and accounting/inventory is fantastic. Also, their Pricing structure is great for a growing business.

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

Very little downside. There have been a few glitches or errors but all quickly resolved by their support team.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clean inventory management and accounting. Great visibility in scheduling and individual job costs.

 ### 18. Take your shop to the next level

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim B. | Owner, Principal Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

What stands out most to me is how seamlessly all my company data is connected, from Sales and Production to Quality, Accounting, and everything in between. I absolutely love the interface—it feels modern, fresh, and is intuitive on so many levels. One of my favorite aspects is that I hardly need to use Excel anymore; the data I once managed there is now far more accessible. It's also impressive how quickly new employees can get up to speed, as the system is so user-friendly that they can integrate into the ecosystem almost instantly. I appreciate how it tracks and analyzes both time and expenses, and I now have a seamless way to store and manage certifications. Most importantly, I love that this product is still evolving, with its best days yet to come. It has already become a transformative, foundational tool for running nearly every aspect of my business, enabling me not only to manage data but also to gain deeper insights into areas I previously lacked the organization to address. With their ongoing development plans and focus on AI, I believe these tools and systems are poised to reach even greater heights.

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

I wouldn't say 'dislike' but I do see an opportunity to develop and utilize the AI tools they are working on to help offset the manual effort for data prep for import into the system. Ironically, and unfortunately, Fulcrum sets an expectation for an ERP to achieve a paperless and highly efficient workflow, where you need to handle the data as little as possible. At the moment, I find myself spending a lot of time setting up jobs because there is so much information to manage. While the system does allow you to track and handle more data, this also means more setup is needed. There are some clear opportunities for automation that could save a considerable amount of time, and I am genuinely looking forward to seeing these improvements implemented.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fulcrum is streamlining my entire business operations. I have two sites now, and many days I work from home running Fulcrum to quote and set up jobs, all while managing employees from afar. This would be impossible without Fulcrum. But with Fulcrum, information loaded into the system is instantly available across the entire company, regardless of where they are. It becomes a huge multifactor force multiplier, where my company is getting 2.5 of me from all of efficiencies I am gaining.

 ### 19. Almost perfect

Good travelers, its very flexable, Keeping time on jobs and keeping track of job costing is very easy

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

I was promised during the sales stage something that's very critical for my business. 2 years later, they have delivered on this critical feature! It took a while, but they implemented it

Invoicing is a bit of a pain, but it works well

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

-Keeping time on jobs

 ### 20. Driving Small Business Forward

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zachary H. | Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

Coming from a dated ERP system, Fulcrum was a breath of fresh air to our facility. As long standing users of a very common system, we were inidated with issues and mistakes that we were never able to understand and over 15 years later most of those features were left to side. I found fulcrum through a google search and hearing about it from another local fabricator. Instantly I knew this was the system for our shop and how we operate.

The biggest compliments I can give to Fulcrum is its Ease of Use and its Customer Support. We had the luxury of having Jack onboard us and through thick and thin he stayed by our side and helped us through the million roadblocks we encountered. Being able to quickly edit BOM and Routings, to Sales Order/Quotes/Inventory Auto saving, and ability to tie PDFs/drawings to a code at an instance based level is working wonders for our operations.

The introduction of using a tablet in our facility was always thought of as far into the future, but since Fulcrum is relatively user friendly, onboarding an entire shop to 1. Use an iPad 2. Use the System we have has been an quick and painless transition. The typical hiccups I was expecting were maybe an issue for one day then the team was off and using the system to about 90%. At this point its just adding the last 10% as we grow and continue to use the system to better make it fit to our standards and systems.

Finally being able to track setup/production/machine times instead of hand notes has also opened our eyes to see that the math we had from years previously doesnt apply to our now standardarized production. We have been able to adjust pricing and track sales to ensure a consistent marginal growth is being met along with beign able to lower costs to customers which has positevly grown relationships.

10/10 would recommend - love it - has some issues but they are willing to fix it when needed and I appreciate that they dont view their software as unchageable! We use it everyday and was integrated as easily as easily if not easier than described!

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

Our biggest issue with Fulcrum was during implementation - data coming from our old ERP to Fulcrum was a mess. Mainly at the fault of us since we didnt use our previous to the fullest extent so alot of information was missing / we just didnt have. This creates a mind numbing few weeks during implementation trying to get everything figured out or atleast close until you can start using the system to the fullest extent.

Alot of our other issues are based just how work flow / numbers are figured in Fulcrum. We were stuck in our ways from a previous system and making the adjustment to how we think about jobs had to change.

QB intergration works but it is a bit choppy at times, work orders work for a company that does the same thing over and over again for high mix like us it doesnt work the best.

 ### 21. Great Platform That's Always Growing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

This is the first Manufacturing ERP built and designed for the modern era. Fulcrum is constantly changing and growing while maintaining a culture with its customers that most companies strive for. When choosing Fulcrum, you become a part of this close-knit community where you're on a first-name basis with most of their team and other Fulcrum users. Everyone involved Is so enthusiastic about helping one another. The culture alone puts Fulcrum above Jobboss; Fulcrum's pure focus is providing a product that constantly meets your need as you expand and grow. The Platform Is great and open-ended, meaning no matter your size or specialization in the manufacturing world, you can tailor Fulcrum to meet your needs. Great for service providers to turn-key providers fulcrum can adapt and support your business. With weekly update rollouts, Fulcrum finds new ways to bring innovation to your company.

The key difference compared to other ERP Systems is that everything revolves around the Item you are producing and the machines you're running it on. Employees or companies are not tied to a particular item or device, allowing for flexible solutions while reducing redundancy. Everyone is in sync and aware of jobs, articles, revisions and changes going on with an order from your office to your shop floor.

Fulcrum should be your first choice to keep your company competitive while fostering a foundation to grow, especially in automation. Fulcrum's open API opens integration with many powerful tools, allowing basic communication improvements to complete a department's workflow automation.

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

Honestly? Diskiles about Fulcrum are so short-lived with my company. With weekly updates and improvements, what might be a pain this week could easily be solved following an update. The platform is constantly changing, and Fulcrum is always listening to feedback. If something may not work for you in particular, reach out to your Rep, I guarantee they are either already working on an update for it or have solutions in place to help adapt Fulcrum to your needs.

Listing my current dislikes would be mute because Fulcrum today may be different from he Fulcrum tomorrow.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The complete organization and automation of our day to day business

 ### 22. Fulcrum - Game Changer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Logan W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

We looked at various ERP systems as a small to medium-sized medical device manufacturer. Ultimately, we decided on Fulcrum for a variety of reasons:

-	User-friendly interface and ease of use
-	The scheduling platform was superior to other ERPs.
-	Not limited to # of users, based on the size of the company then every employee has access without additional costs (Huge for us to get entire buy-in and use from all employees top to bottom)
-	Job tracking and cost analysis
-	3D part viewer under each item
- Continually releasing updates and new features at no additional costs

Fulcrum was an easy and right choice for Qualitex, Inc. It has been a tremendous help in improving our process flow and scheduling to help ensure on-time deliveries. The cost analysis and reporting features are enormous for ensuring we maintain margins and where we can improve. The onboarding process with Fulcrum was in-depth and systematic to ensure we ran smoothly without hiccups. We integrated with QuickBooks, and while we were initially nervous about that, the Fulcrum team ensured everything went well.

I would tell anyone considering an ERP to consider Fulcrum strongly, do the demos, talk with the team and let them show you the power behind it.

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

There isn't much not to like about Fulcrum. I've expressed my only "dislikes" to their product development team.

- A way to track tooling/fixturing costs under items & jobs (there are roundabout ways to do this, but a straightforward way would be excellent)
- When logging in and out of jobs on the job tracker, it would be nice to be able to set a stop time for when you are running lights out overnight and know when the machine will stop at a specific time (currently, you have to go manually enter the time)
- A little more flexibility in controlling the schedule where you see fit. The scheduler is very powerful and uses some form of algorithm and AI to generate the best manufacturing schedule. However, as we all know from running businesses, there is still a human element. You can turn a setting on to drag and drop the scheduling, but it can be cumbersome.

All the items about there are work-around ways to achieve what you want, but if they were more straightforward, it would save some time and give visibility.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling and cost tracking for profitability.

 ### 23. Modern Software for Modern Companies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roggen F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

My biggest draws towards Fulcrum were the user interface and the scheduler. During my research, Fulcrum appeared to be to only MRP with an auto-scheduling feature. During our launch process, we had to tweak it a little bit, but once it was fined tuned, it began to represent what we needed on a day to day basis. We barely have to do any manual scheduling any more.

The user interface was a crucial element for me, as my workforce is primarily welders, who have little computer experience in the workplace. I needed an easy-to-use, and easy-to-learn user interface that was going to help the process. Fulcrum got it right by making a user interface on the job tracker that is click-and-play.

I also have to say during my trial runs of different software, Fulcrum had the best customer support. If you have worked with any management software before, you will discover that Fulcrum is easy to set up. Even though it's fairly easy, you have a dedicated launch manager with you every step of the way to answer questions, help overcome challenges, and help make you successful. The other MRPs on the market were hard to learn, and they didn't set you up for success.

Fulcrum is also receives updates weekly and is built on modern web-based technology. It can work on any device and is accessible from anywhere in the world. It's great for me, as I oversee my business remotely often.

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

The biggest feature I am missing in Fulcrum is bulk editing or the ability to export all items, modify them in excel, and reimport them. Most my products are similar, but have slight variations, so when I need to make a change I have to go through one item at a time to make the changes happen. It is important during your launch process to consider how you may need to change your products in the future when building out your bill of materials, routings, and subcomponents.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fulcrum is saving us time and money by improving our, scheduling, inventory tracking, purchasing, and automation processes. We launched an ecommerce storefront on shopify, and Fulcrum integrates seamlessly. Once an order is placed on the store, it goes straight into Fulcrum. Fulcrum also reports to shopify our current product inventory levels. Once we ship the item in Fulcrum, it notifies shopify that the order is fulfilled.

On the operations side, we have reduced our inventory checking from daily to weekly, saving us important time. We are also saving approximately an hour every purchase order we place, as Fulcrum shows you what materials you need to purchase and making a PO is as simple as clicking a button to add the item to the PO and it will email directly to our vendor. It integrates straight into quickbooks and allows us to link our bill.

We are saving alot of manual data entry now.

Also, Fulcrum is allowing me to manage my manufacturing operations remotely. That is not common in our industry, but all of the data that Fulcrum offers allows me to make decisions even if I'm not present.

 ### 24. Fulcrum transformed my small cut & sew factory

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh Y. | Co-Founder, Head of Supply Chain & Manufacturing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

I run a 10 person cut and sew garment factory in Detroit. We're a small and bootstrapped business that needed a tech tool to scale to the next level, but hadn't found the right solution, and more importantly that fit our very small budget. Fulcrum consolidated all of our 30+ Excel sheets into one easy to use format. It keeps us organized and all on the same page. It also saved a ton of time from entering data and cleaning data. My staff was all tracking production times on their phones and with pen and paper before manually entering it into Excel at the end of each day, now it's all done in real time via iPads that everyone keeps at their work station.

The Fulcrum team is all amazing and very accessible even a year after implementation to help us with all issues that arise. I couldn't recommend it more for small manufacturers.

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

Sometimes there is a little lag between data entered and when it shows up in the system, which throws my shop staff off when everything isn't lining up right away, but it almost always corrects in time and matches up. Overall I'm very impressed how little issues we have, we just need to resync data on occasion.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helped organize our business in one easy to use platform, tracking inventory, reducing data tracking and entry for staff members, organizing our purchasing process, warehousing process, and overall forcing us to clean up our processes and drive consistency.

 ### 25. Great UI/UX, Solid Features + Updates

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Massimo C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

I think the best thing about Fulcrum is its overall simplicity and layout, as well as frequent feature updates and support. At times this simplicity can be limiting, but the team is pretty good about taking in recommendations, and updates are both regular and useful! Having a specific onboarding team member there by your side during implementation and then a success manager to help with questions after the fact is amazing, and easily the best part of Fulcrum when compared to other MRPs which just leave you to figure it out yourself.

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

At times, the limitations mentioned before can be a bit of a block. I'd say 80% of businesses that run conventionally will never have issues with Fulcrum, but our particular setup is fairly complex and constantly changes thus leading to some issues that we have to address ourselves.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inventory, purchasing, tracking workfloor/production times, accounting (to some extent), job tracking.

 ### 26. effective shop floor management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tony M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

FulcrumPro creates an excellent solution for paperless shop floor management. Using tables critical data is collected for the manufacturing process

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

Some of the back end user interface is cumbersom at times

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paperless solution to quality mangement

 ### 27. Fulcrum has transformed our business!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chad J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

Fulcrum has allowed us to significantly grow our business through timely and accurate quotes, shop-wide communication and on-time delivery.

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

Every so often, we discover a "bug" as they are continually improving their software. These are quickly remedied and we rarely skip a beat.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fulcrum allows us to have a cohesive system across our company, enabling efficient communication and complete visibility to jobs.

 ### 28. Fulcrum Software and Support is Excellent !!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

The software is excellent for managing our fabrication shop workload. What I like best about Fulcrum is that their team will listen and input our feedback!

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

I would like to be able to talk to people on the phone, versus email.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of all our customers, projects, orders, etc.

 ### 29. Has the potential to become the key driver of growth in your manufacturing company

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew H. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Fulcrum?**

We have been implementing and using Fulcrum at our manufacturing firm in New Zealand since December 2020. Our company has a headcount of 25, half spread across sales, marketing, engineering and admin, and the remainder as production team members working on the shop floor. We’ve doubled our headcount in the last 12 months, and are looking for tools to help us scale more rapidly. We believe that looking back in 5 years from now, Fulcrum may well be the tool that had the biggest effect on our growth.

The launch team that we were paired with from day one of our implementation were instrumental in our successful launch. We had weekly video calls with them to help us understand the basics, they answered our myriad of questions and they helped us with preparing the data we needed to get Fulcrum live, but it’s also fair to say the implementation did take us a lot longer than first anticipated. A lot of these delays came down to the data set that we had. Our BOM’s were lacking clarity, and the process of getting the data into Fulcrum was not very streamlined. More details about this are in the section below.

We rolled out a staged launch of Fulcrum in our business, with key components being switched over from the outgoing systems over the course of around 6 months. First Inventory management, then Jobs, and then lastly the Job Tracking component that is utilised on the shop floor by our production team members. We also had to complete a full stocktake on the day Job Tracking went live, to ensure the system had all the right information for scheduling.

We are still getting our team completely up and running on Fulcrum’s automated schedule, but once we do, we believe that the superhuman knowledge of the Scheduler understanding every product, sub-component, machine, operation, staff member, inventory level, lead time and many more data points will allow us to scale our manufacturing at a rate not possible via anything else we’ve seen in the market.

**What do you dislike about Fulcrum?**

We have a good relationship with the key staff at Fulcrum. From their implementation team, right through to their CEO. This is because their company is young, the product is still maturing, and they are experiencing the same growing pains that we are - and so with that, we have a lot of communication with them regarding the product, and the resolution of the problems or questions that we raise.

We believe the core of the product is sound. The Scheduler is the magic sauce, and it works. But the user experience within the product from onboarding right through to day-to-day usage of the system by our team has room for improvement. It is also accurate to say that they *are* improving it. The product has been refined incrementally over the 10 months we have been using it and we hear that the pace of improvement will only increase into the future as they scale up their engineering team.

Regarding the setup process. We have less than 2000 unique item numbers in our company, spread across 10 or so core products. Unfortunately, our previous inventory system kept these as flat BOM’s, so adding the data to tree those products for Fulcrum to understand took us a lot of time. Being based in New Zealand also didn’t help, as we needed a US-based Fulcrum team member to upload our data set each time we had another version to test. Due to the timezone differences, this was usually just a once per day operation whereas if the upload was possible via a user-facing page, we believe we could have been testing uploads multiple times per day. I wouldn’t be surprised if Fulcrum launch their own upload tool in the future just to take that load off their launch teams.

There are a lot of other unique “Fulcrum characteristics” in the platform, that we’re not used to experiencing in other more mature SAAS platforms, but thankfully these are decreasing weekly, and we look forward to the system eventually being simple, clear and robust enough for all our staff to understand and use without too much oversight.

Finally, the lack of quality user documentation due to the rapidly evolving platform also hindered our onboarding timeline as most information was learnt during our weekly meeting. While the meetings were good and I understand the reason behind the lack of docs so far, I was pleased to recently hear that user documentation is high on their priority list.

**What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our end goal for implementing Fulcrum at our company is to help enable rapid, scalable growth. More product out the door, faster and easier than before. We expect we will see that in the future, but because we’re only a few months into what we believe will be a multi-year journey, we’re not yet able to conclude whether this was made possible with Fulcrum.

In the meantime, the process of preparing our data for entry into Fulcrum immediately gave us better quality BOMs. The flow-on effects from that mean better purchasing and inventory management. We also have greater visibility around what the team are completing each day and the real cost of manufacture.

However, the key thing we’re still waiting to see the results from is the Scheduler. Once our production team members start to trust the Scheduler and work on what it asks them to work on, we believe that is when we will start to see efficiencies previously not imagined possible.

I’ll update this review in 6 months with further details around the benefits we are seeing at that point in time. Keep an eye out for it sometime in mid-2022.
