Duel has an outstanding vision when it comes to brand advocacy. They go beyond focusing on the transactional value of repeat customers and aim to build lifelong brand advocates by delivering exactly what customers want, which is a program where fans can interact with the brand they love in a unique way. Their approach to emotionaly loyalty & community building is impressive, and their strategies for engaging communities and fans are highly effective, encouraging not only repeat business but also organic growth as customers refer their friends. The tool's lack of integration with Shopify was the main downside (which is something they're working on) - as well as the difficulty in proving emotional advocacy's $$$ worth to the business. For businesses that are highly revenue driven, it's harder to see an immediate big impact of a program that builds a community & true brand love. It's something that takes time to grow and should be deeply ingrained in the brand's vision and integrated with the customer journey.
