**What do you like best about Duel?**

Duel has been a great way to help us at Katie Loxton build and engage a community of nearly 2,000 ambassadors across the UK & US. The platform allows us to interact and utalise our brand ambassador relationships, increasing our reach and brand awareness. 

We love that we can work across multiple social media platforms, the output of UGC has also been amazing and we frequently use on our socials, email campaigns, and paid advertising. We are currently planning to add the UGC gallery feature to our website this season, and we can’t wait to see the results!

Our team uses Duel daily, and we’ve found it to be an easy adjustment to our day to day roles. The support we’ve received from the Duel team has been outstanding, from implementation and integration to tech queries, in-depth review meetings, and forward-thinking strategies. They are always there to assist us whenever we have any questions. 

We recently held an in person event for some of our KL Icons and the response has been amazing, Katie has also mentioned how wonderful it was to meet the community IRL and we cant wait to build on these events and working more with our community in and out of the program!

**What do you dislike about Duel?**

Tracking parameters could be better, however i have seen that this is being improved so excited to see the new tracking and reporting features

**What problems is Duel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Duel helps us scale and build on our community in one place, making the management of 2000 amabassadors super easy! It has really helped us to build of UGC gallery also which means we have a consistant bank of content we can use across all channels.

**What do you like best about Duel?**

We recently partnered with Duel to launch a client's first ambassador program. We love the fact that Duel lets you own the relationship with your ambassadors and that it's platform-agnostic. The tasks can be customisable to suit our client's business goals which is exactly what we needed.

**What do you dislike about Duel?**

It could be harder to explain the difference between Duel and any other UGC / content-creator tech provided, especially to senior clients who are not socially-savvy. But the team has been super helpful in getting this over the line and providing their clear USPs.

**What problems is Duel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our client has an engaged community on social but they are not activating them at scale. With Duel, we are able to host our community of brand fans and consumers and reward them for their participation in social engagement and content tasks through Duel's automated, scalable platforms which removes a lof of the manual work.

**What do you like best about Duel?**

It's a great way of managing a large content creator community, easy to set tasks, easy to grow our community and once set up easy to run. Customer Support is really helpful and get's back to you quickly. It's also a great revenue driver for the brand and is a great way to connect with creators in a scalable way.

**What do you dislike about Duel?**

The analytics functions aren't as good as they could be, the gallery view only shows images, when most of the content we get is video, discount codes get leaked. Often technical issues that come about that are hard to solve, so then means we need to get in touch with customer support and it is quite a timely process when you have lots of ambassadors.

**What problems is Duel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We get alot of UGC content through duel, also are able to connect with a wide pool of ambassadors which is great. We are able to set specific tasks to gather any content we want, and drive promotions in key sales periods, as well as growing a community of brand lovers.

Duel has been an amazing resource for us and provided us with the tools to create an engaged community of brand ambassadors! The platform is easy to use and I love that everything is in one place. The Duel team has been incredible to work with and always provides helpful suggestions for how we can best optimize our program.

Some data is not available and/or a bit more manual to pull. It would be ideal to be able to categorize our creators, pull data from specific tasks, etc.

Duel provides a one-stop-shop for our brand ambassador program, making it easy to track everything from who our members are to how we're engaging with them, and managing the content we get back from them.

**What do you like best about Duel?**

Duel has an outstanding vision when it comes to brand advocacy. They go beyond focusing on the transactional value of repeat customers and aim to build lifelong brand advocates by delivering exactly what customers want, which is a program where fans can interact with the brand they love in a unique way. Their approach to emotionaly loyalty & community building is impressive, and their strategies for engaging communities and fans are highly effective, encouraging not only repeat business but also organic growth as customers refer their friends.

**What do you dislike about Duel?**

The tool's lack of integration with Shopify was the main downside (which is something they're working on) - as well as the difficulty in proving emotional advocacy's $$$ worth to the business. For businesses that are highly revenue driven, it's harder to see an immediate big impact of a program that builds a community & true brand love. It's something that takes time to grow and should be deeply ingrained in the brand's vision and integrated with the customer journey. Transactional and emotional loyalty are linked - businesses should no longer only be focusing on one or the other.

Duel is giving us a unique opportunity to create long-lasting relationships with our customer that go past the product. Building a community that raves about your products and keeps coming back for more is the ultimate benefit!

**What do you like best about Duel?**

I love that it's a channel that connects our brand with our VIPs beyond a customer level, and the client support that comes with it is excellent. The launch of our US program was made very easy because of this.

**What do you dislike about Duel?**

The user interface is not always very friendly. A few things are still a bit manual eg sending digests

**What problems is Duel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not neccesarily a problem but it has given us the opportunity to communicate with our biggest fans and making them feel valued, on top of our site wide loyalty program. Benefits include stronger brand advocacy, reaching audiences that may be hard to reach or create an impression on via traditional digital marketing, and having user generated content.

**What do you like best about Duel?**

DUEL has been a fantastic plarform for us. It was easy to implement and has always been super easy to use, allowing us to get closer to the community and reward them for creating content with our products.

The team are incredibly helpful and keep in touch regularly to ensure we are using the platform to the best of its ability and answe any questions we have. They also help us on creating a programme that is tailored to the business' objectives, rather than us feeling like we need to fill a regimented plan they already have in place.

Overall, DUEL is a vital tool for the social and content team.

**What do you dislike about Duel?**

I would love to see more detailed reporting from DUEL around different territories. A lot of the current set up means if things weren't done initially, it can be time-consuming and more challenging to implement at a later date which is hard when business needs change.

We use UGC in several marketing channels and its key that we are always working on creating and generating high levels of top-quality content which DUEL supports us with.

**What do you like best about Duel?**

Duel is such an amazing platform for allowing brand communities to come together. The best thing about Duel for us is that we are able to not only spread brand awarness but create relationships with creators and general lovers of our brand. We are able to give back to our community and the work that they put into creating content for our ambassadors programme.Our brand executive Caitlin is incredible at guiding us through any issues we may come across and is always there to support us. In my line of work I use Duel everyday and find it very easy to use and am able to implement things umoung our programme seasmlessly.

There is nothing that sticks out to me at all about disliking Duel.

Duel is an amazing platform as it has allowed us to access a huge bank of small creators who adore the brand and are willing to create content for us that the entire business can repurpose through all of our different channels.
The team are amazingly helpful, particularly Caitlin who has been a huge support.
The ease of use on the platform and ease of uploading tasks is a huge benefit.

**What do you dislike about Duel?**

There are very few downsides, perhaps looking at the way the video tasks are uploaded can be sometimes complicated for users as they have to compress their files in order to complete.

Duel allows us to access a wide bank of content for us to repurpose across our various communication channels
It allows us to find UGC creators that we can work with.

Simple to use for both creators and company.

Lots of ways to work the platform, to make it customisable to you. Really easy to communicate with account managers, feel very supported the entire way.

Easy to integrate onto website.

**What do you dislike about Duel?**

Cost is high, especially if you already have a dedicated community and customer base. 

Some content doesn't pull through if it deems it as 'inappropriate' which doesn't work for our brand.

**What problems is Duel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We first got Duel to try and grow our customers in the US and rest of world. For companies who don't already have a dedicated customer base, this platform would be really useful in getting UGC content that they're not getting organically. To choose who's wearing / using your products and curate the content which they create.

Always there to answer any questions i have had, and always keen to give great insights to the programme and how we can improve.

There have been some technical glitches with some mission submissions that we are still working on, as its hard to pin down how these are affecting our advocates (but i totally understand that duel are working on this)

Duel is helping us build an ambassador program based around passenger, giving us huge amounts of UGC & generating revune through affiliate codes.

**What do you like best about Duel?**

I like the gamification Duel provides. The ability to create different activities for your customers and how you can have the content they upload all in one place.

**What do you dislike about Duel?**

I don't like the lack of easy customization. It should be much easier to add photos in each activity and organize each format. Also, the inability to do other activities well like quizzes or surveys. 

In general, there is a lot of room for improvement in the user experience and visual aspect of Duel.

It is helping us drive more sales, with the discounts we provide in our loyalty program in Duel. Also when members share their photos through social media with their community.

**What do you like best about Duel?**

Duel is superior to competitors for several reasons. First, the technology is an all-in-one solution. (Previously, I had a sales platform, a separate education platform, and a separate community platform.) Ambassadors have one single login. Second, the platform allows for multiple levels of engagement--from curious customers to superfans. There's something for everyone. Last, the Duel system is so user friend, and the Duel team is responsive and best-in-class. Implementation is so simple and intuitive!

Duel allows us to faciliate content creation with micro influencers at scale. We have regular catch ups with Customer Success who feel like an extension of our team. Any bugs that are raised with support are quickly resolved

**What do you dislike about Duel?**

The reporting capabilities of Duel are not up to standard when comparing with similar platforms/ social listening tools, however I'm aware this a product update that the team have been working on. The platform can be glitchy/ clunky e.g. can't download video content, set up of social challenges require multiple 'work arounds'.

Duel allows us to automate rewards and communication with advocates in order to grow at scale.

A simple platform and easy to use. It has great features and we're able to customize it to suit our needs. The customer support team is probably the best I've ever experienced. Always quick to respond and so helpful.

It can take a while to learn all the functions of Duel but the customer support team always helps with that

**What do you like best about Duel?**

The amount of high quality UGC that can be used across all platforms across the business. It creates a tight knit community within the brands audience and gives them a sense of purpose and direction with their UGC content.

**What do you dislike about Duel?**

There's always something new to learn with our ambassadors questions - however, the support team are always super helpful and on hand to support us with our questions!

**What problems is Duel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Without Duel we would have a lack of UGC to use across channels. It allows us to use organic content across channels such as paid, email etc. which we wouldn't be able to otherwise. It also allows us to request specific UGC content from our ambassadors that we may not have budget for.

We are almost 1 year in, and still finding new features with Duel that we can implement to grow our community. Our members find it very valuable, and we are gaining revenue, reach, content and brand awareness.

**What do you dislike about Duel?**

Some tech issues at the start, growing pains include issues with promo codes outwith UK, tech bugs in some missions, etc. The team are helpful and on it though.

Allowing smaller accounts and customers to get involved with the brand.

Allowing community management of 17000 creators to be manageable and efficient. Providing an engaging and personal experience for creators/advocates.

**What do you dislike about Duel?**

Lack of elevation on the customer facing program. It isn't exciting and is quite clunky when it comes to custom css but Duel are always onhand to advise where/how improvement can be made

It's solving for revenue and new customers as part of our existing acquisition strategy. 

It also solves for UGC and campaign support

**What do you like best about Duel?**

Duel is a great platform to help start and build an affiliate program. The team are great, friendly and easy to work with too.

**What do you dislike about Duel?**

It would be great if there was more tools to help identify new customer data. Wish there were easier ways to look at individuals performances month on month rather than downloading everything.

The team have always been quick to answer any questions. Once you get your mind wrapped around the platform it is quite user-friendly.

The inability to srach creators via their social handles.
