"Developer Friendly Document Automation platform"

What do you like best about Docupilot?

It feels more developer friendly now especially when dealing with dynamic data and automating end to end document generation. The UI also feels more fluid and responsive. It truly serves the purpose and does stand on what it's built for. The e-sign feature is really useful with multi party signature support. It natively uses advanced Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES) which is considered most secure. So I can safely use it without any compliance concerns. Their blogs and youtube tutorials are also regularly updated and very helpful goto resource for any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Docupilot?

Nothing major that I think needs improvement. Very satisfied with overall experience with docupilot so far. One minor thing is currently generated document urls have default validity of 24 hours and overriden to max of 3 days. It would be helpful if this override is configurable for a longer duration. "Great End Product, But Setup and Integration Challenges"

What do you like best about Docupilot?

I really appreciated working with Vamsi and Rohit, the engineers at Docupilot. They were excellent, easy to get in touch with, and responded quickly to my queries, which was very helpful. I liked that Docupilot would create a nice end product in response to what we asked for, which was exactly what we wanted. It was able to format specific information into a correctly presented Word document, gathering all the necessary data accurately and correctly. It did everything we asked for, making our end product deliverable to families. Additionally, Docupilot was considerably more cost-effective compared to HotDocs. What do you dislike about Docupilot?

In the end, it didn't solve the problem of having to put all the information into forms and then those forms creating the template. Existing AI tools now can eliminate time-consuming steps, such as looking at PDFs and manually importing data into Google Forms to be parsed by Docupilot. It took several months to figure out the setup, which was a complicated and time-consuming process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Docupilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

Docupilot initially helped with creating automated templates based on testing data, making document presentation accurate and well-formatted. However, it required manually inputting information and wasn't as efficient as newer AI tools for parsing PDFs directly. It was more cost-effective than HotDocs, saving us significant expenses. Glad to hear the team was responsive and that Docupilot delivered the kind of clean, accurate documents you needed. That’s exactly what we aim for.

Your point about the setup and manual data entry (especially with PDFs) is completely fair. This is actually something we’ve been heavily focused on improving recently.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve rolled out a good set of updates to simplify things:

* Built-in forms (so you don’t need Google Forms anymore)

* AI to help create templates and forms faster

* AI-based data extraction from PDFs, emails, and files to auto-populate data on Forms

* Ability to generate multiple docs from a single submission

* A HotDocs migration tool to speed up transitions

The goal is to remove as much manual work as possible and make the whole flow a lot faster to get up and running.

Really glad Docupilot helped you cut costs compared to HotDocs – that’s a big one we care about.

"Intuitive Templates and Airtable Integration That Streamline SOPs"

What do you like best about Docupilot?

I like that I can load multiple templates that integrate easily with Airtable. The interface is intuitive. It has a great amount of delivery methods which is also very helpful. I've had no issues with performance since using Docupilot. I don't have a specific figure for ROI, but this streamlines our SOP process and increases the speed in which we can get them done. What do you dislike about Docupilot?

"Seamless Certificate Automation with Zapier Integration"

What do you like best about Docupilot?

I liked that Docupilot worked seamlessly with Zapier, which I needed for my host website Thinkific to send my students their completion certificates. Thinkific allows for the creation of certificates, but not the ability to import certificates from institutions of higher learning or government agencies that I use. Docupilot allowed me to upload a unique government form to be sent automatically. Customer support was timely and helpful, moving me from a plan that didn't fit my business use to one that does. What do you dislike about Docupilot?

It took some effort for me and my limited computing skills to realize that I needed Zapier working together with Docupilot. That is on me, not on Docupilot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Docupilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

I offer a class on Thinkific and at the end of the class the students receive a certification form from a government agency. I would have to manually complete the form and send it to them via email. This took time to complete and often resulted in students not receiving the form until a day or two after completing the class. I needed to automate the input of the required student information and completion date. "Docupilot Makes my work easier"

What do you like best about Docupilot?

I tried Docupilot to help me speed up my paperwork, surprisingly it’s saved me a ton of time sitting around doing the same stuff over and over. I like the fact that I can write conditional logic and generate documents with APIs without any fuss.

My project deals with pretty sensitive info, and Docupilot’s compliance with industry standard regulations made it easier to pick.

What do you dislike about Docupilot?

I use Docupilot for document generation and e-signature. Before, I was making contracts in Word, saving as PDF, then sending back and forth for signing, It took long and was easy to miss small changes. Some of the advanced formatting options feel a bit limited, especially when you’re working with more complex templates. Docupilot removes all the manual effort involved in creating repetitive documents. Instead of formatting the same PDFs, invoices, agreements, or reports over and over, we just feed the data and the template handles the rest.
