For incident management, D4H strikes a strong balance between usability and flexibility. It enables teams to respond quickly and consistently to incidents, while also offering the customization needed to reflect organizational structures, regulatory requirements, and operational best practices. Initial learning curve required but necessary in order to accommodate desired customisations.

D4H provides a consolidated space for incident management, offering centralized oversight and structured playbooks that can be applied across a wide range of events — whether cybersecurity, environmental, health, safety, or other operational scenarios.

  ### 6. D4H does it all

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2025

**What do you like best about D4H?**

D4H is the software that we decided upon when Mission Manager left us high and dry with a very short notice regarding it's end of service. We formed a committee and looked at various solutions and this seemed like the best solution to our needs.
We use it for:
Tracking Attendance at trainings and events,
Monitoring our required training expiration dates,
Group-wide Calendar of upcoming events, with the ability to acknowledge your plans to attend,
Equipment tracking and inventory,
Incident data capture with the activity Log and Roles tracking,
Fully customizable checklists that can be assigned to personnel in various Roles,
Importing your member names into Incident Manager so that your drop-down menu shows only those personnel who have responded,
many, many other uses that I have just forgotten.

Their customer support is FANTASTIC. I have gotten responses very quickly and they were quite knowledgeable about what they are working on.

It took a bit of time getting everything set up the way we want (and we aren't done yet), but that is because it is SO flexible and customizable. I wasn't planning on even looking at the Equipment Management portion, but we received some new equipment and had to get it inventoried before it was deployed. That too was quick and easy.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

When I have asked Tech Support about improvements that I would like to see, they usually tell me that I am not alone in asking about those issues. I just wish they could get these new improvements rolled out a bit faster. (former programmer, I realize there are only so many hours in a day.)

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are receiving donations of used Handheld radios from several local Police and Fire departments. These radios sell on E-bay for close to $2,000.00 each. We can now track them by serial number and who they are assigned to. We are also tracking our member's qualifications and training expiration dates.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> Thank you so much for a fantastic review! It’s great to hear how flexible and customizable you’ve found D4H, and we’re especially proud to hear your praise for our customer support team!

Thanks for your feedback on feature updates too, this input really helps shape our improvements.

  ### 7. Excellent program and resource for our SAR unit

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Enforcement | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2021

**What do you like best about D4H?**

Continues to be quality and put out even more than we expect!

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

Interface can always be simplified and the reporting system for year end items could be more user friendly

**Recommendations to others considering D4H:**

D4H has lots of options; make sure it meets your criteria and does not go overboard. I love it for our SAR tracking and can see it in use for several different mission types.

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of each member's accomplishments and requirements is enormous. Also, the mission count for the year coupled with trainings and meetings be separated is priceless.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> Thank you for your honest review! Great to hear D4H is working well for your SAR team.

  ### 8. Easy to get started with

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Micah B. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2025

**What do you like best about D4H?**

It took very little to get my team up and running in D4H. With only a couple hours of work I had our personnel imported into the system using the D4H import tool, and had our basic training and incident reports up and running.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

I wish the apps allowed for more. The ability to take attendance at a training event, or start an incident report would be beneficial.

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

D4H allowed us to combine multiple Google Forms and other "group organizer apps" into one specific, mission center platform to conduct our team's bisuness. it quickly allowed us to generate clean professional incident reports for our agency cooperators and track statistics that we couldn't see before without excessive spreadsheet work.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with getting your team up and running in D4H, Micah! We understand your feedback about the apps and are working to enhance this.

  ### 9. Great product, but French translation is incomplete.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Recreational Facilities and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about D4H?**

The several modules integrated into D4H and the Help Center

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

The French Translation is not complete or accurate at some places.
We can not easily add several periods under one activity.

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to manage all of our members information, trainings and competencies.
The ability to extract the data from D4H.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> Thank you for your review!

We’re working to improve our language support and appreciate the feedback.

Regarding multiple periods under an activity, it’s currently possible to record multiple attendance periods, though we recognise this may not meet all operational workflows. This is an area we’re actively reviewing based on customer feedback.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience.

  ### 10. D4H provides all the back office functions so we can focus on training and attending incidents.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about D4H?**

We are a small volunteer search and rescue K9 team that needs to adopt the administrative functions of a much larger organisation to deliver a quality professional service. This requires us to maintain long term continuity and consistency of our management systems using an integrated system such as D4H.

D4H handles everything we need for the day to day management of our members, K9s, inventory and incidents across a single platform. This frees us up to focus on training and effectively deploying our SAR capability.

The features we get the most from are:
-	Day to day access using web browser or mobile app
-	Dashboard accessible by all our members to view upcoming events and our overall readiness status
-	Simple, secure maintenance of our members’ personal information
-	Managing and updating qualifications, including expiry alerts
-	Separate modules for maintaining K9 details
-	Simple update by members of their on call status
-	Integration with third party apps to manage call out notifications and attendance reporting
-	Capture of key information relating to incidents we have responded to
-	Easy management of equipment issue to members, returns and stock control
-	Flexible reports in spreadsheet format.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

We do occasionally have login issues with both the browser and mobile app versions. We have found that these are usually best left to the help desk to resolve and this is usually handled very promptly.

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small volunteer team and do not have a lot of time to devote to administration. As well as the day to day management of training and incidents, D4H always sits in the background looking out for the less glamorous stuff like qualification expiries and kit inspections.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> Thank you for a great review! It's great to hear how D4H has streamlined your team's admin tasks.

  ### 11. D4H for Local Mountain Rescue / SAR Team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2024

**What do you like best about D4H?**

Super fast customer support when needed. Easy to manage and allows appropriate user levels for needs. Good UI and APP options for users.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

Sometime suggestions are taken on and said will add to list, but slow progress to see updates on these. Would be good for more customisation options both within reports and oncall reporting as well as completing drafts for those who didnt respond to events having to be manually updated on each individual event.

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SMS to those on call for ongoing incidents in clear way to manage.
Management of equipment and reporting checks required.
System of users booking on and off call for simple management of callout via sms.
Management of groups and qualifications
Simple GUI and user friendly application

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for highlighting the strengths of D4H! We're delighted to know these aspects are making a positive impact on your local mountain rescue team's operations.

We appreciate your comments on the pace of updates too. Each feature request we receive is guided by a complexity vs. demand assessment to ensure that we're prioritizing updates that benefit the widest range of our users. We keep tracking every suggestion, so you can always reach out to help@d4h.com for updates on specific features. Our help desk can let you know whether a feature is currently planned, remains under consideration, or if there might be another way to achieve what you're looking to do.

  ### 12. Excellent experience with D4H.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve H. | Director/ Emergency Management Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2024

**What do you like best about D4H?**

GP and the staff at D4H have been outstanding in helping us integrate the Alerting feature to our system. It is truly an outstanding software.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

I haven't found anything I don't like yet. The way it is going I can't imagine anything I wouldn't like.

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

D4H is bringing most of what we have had on multiple platforms before. Internal alerting is being added and should help us greatly.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> Wow! Thank you so much Steve!

  ### 13. Incident Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2025

**What do you like best about D4H?**

This is a platform that is largely intuitive and can be used ranging from very basic ways to very complex ways depending on the need. The cost to benefit ratio for this one is off the charts. I have not seen other solutions in this space that can do this much, keep it easy to use and keep it at this price point. I question if any are doing it this well at any price point. Every person I have interacted with at D4H has been great. They are easy to work with, passionate about the solution and those it serves, and take feedback seriously.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

I always want more from software we use. Nothing is perfect and software is never "done". While there are odds and ends features that aren't there today that I want to see, it's positive that D4H listens and that new things are rolling out all the time. I honestly can't say anything rises to the level of "dislike".

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use the platform for incident response and high level joint operations for special events. Condensing the benefits down to concepts I would say consistency and clarity is what it is delivering for us. We can clearly see what is going on and by use of this software we have created consistency with processes and documentation that reduce risk. That documentation is also vastly more robust than in the past. If we need to look back and review incidents we know where everything we need is located.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> What a fantastic review, thank you so much! We're thrilled to hear that you find D4H intuitive, versatile, and cost-effective.

  ### 14. The Ultimate Solution for Seamless, Customizable, and Versatile Incident Management in Healthcare

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher K. | Division A Incident Management Team - MEDL, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2024

**What do you like best about D4H?**

At our healthcare system, we couldn't be more impressed with D4H Incident Management Suite. From the very beginning, the implementation process was seamless, thanks to their immaculate customer service. The team's expertise ensured that our transition to the platform was smooth and efficient, exceeding our expectations every step of the way.

One of the standout features of D4H is the remarkable customizability of the software. Whether it's adjusting forms, updating status boards, or creating custom workflows, the ability to make real-time changes on the fly has been a game-changer for our operations. Despite its powerful features, the platform is incredibly easy to pick up, even for new staff who have never used an online-based incident management or critical event suite before. Training time has been minimal, and the intuitive interface allows team members to dive right into managing incidents with confidence.

Beyond its primary use in incident management, our staff has been thrilled with the suite's versatility. We've repurposed it for regulatory surveys, safety meetings, and ensuring compliance with state high reliability organization standards in healthcare. The flexibility D4H offers makes it a valuable tool across multiple aspects of our operations.

Overall, we couldn't be happier with the D4H Incident Management Suite. It's become an indispensable part of our workflow, improving our incident management capabilities while also enhancing our broader organizational processes.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

While our experience with D4H Incident Management Suite has been overwhelmingly positive, there are a few minor areas that could be improved. That said, it's worth noting that most of the suggestions or changes we've proposed have already been acknowledged by the D4H team and are either in their development workflow or slated for future updates. Their responsiveness to feedback is truly commendable.

For the few features we need immediately, we’ve managed to find effective workarounds, but it would be ideal to have these built into the system natively. The team has been proactive in providing solutions and ensuring that our needs are met while we await the updates.

Overall, these are small considerations in the grand scheme of things, and we appreciate the fact that D4H continually evolves and adapts to user feedback. We’re confident that the platform will continue to improve in the future.

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

D4H is solving several critical problems for our healthcare system, particularly around incident management and operational coordination. One of the main challenges we faced was streamlining the management of complex incidents in real time, and D4H's suite offers an intuitive platform to coordinate, track, and document everything efficiently. It has greatly improved our ability to manage critical events, allowing us to keep teams aligned, quickly adjust workflows, and ensure that all necessary information is easily accessible.

The platform’s customizability also resolves the issue of rigid software that doesn’t adapt to evolving needs. With D4H, we can make real-time changes to forms, status boards, and workflows, which is a huge benefit in dynamic environments. Additionally, the ease of use for new staff, combined with its alternative uses such as regulatory surveys and safety meetings, means we’re also getting value beyond just incident management. The ability to meet state high reliability organization standards has been a significant advantage as well.

In short, D4H is benefiting us by enhancing our efficiency, improving communication, and ensuring compliance across various operational areas. It’s become an indispensable tool that supports both day-to-day operations and emergency preparedness.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> Thanks for the incredible review, Christopher! We're thrilled that D4H is making a positive impact on your healthcare system. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to make D4H even better.

  ### 15. Customizable formats and information

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** H Bucky B. | State EMS Planner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2022

**What do you like best about D4H?**

One of the things I find most important for us, is the ease of updating a specific incident/event to capture and report out different information, based on the needs of the Incident Commander or AHJ. Having local access to update that on the fly is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

Security settings on the Team Manager product are generic and are not able to be customizable based on a users position. This is a security feature we have requested and told it is being worked on.

**Recommendations to others considering D4H:**

If you are looking for a suite of apps that provide for preparedness, response and recovery of your Emergency Management team or agency, this is a product you should consider

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking of personnel, training & qualifications, and equipment status for grant reporting. Ability to share information to internal or external stakeholders on a live basis.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> Thanks for the great review, Bucky! We're glad you appreciate the flexibility and on-the-fly updates D4H allows.

Regarding the Team Manager permission levels, we hear you! We're working hard to make those more customizable. In fact, the recent launch of our D4H Team Manager API v3 is a key step towards enabling more granular permissions. We're phasing out the older API version and focusing on the new one, which will give us much more flexibility in how we manage security and access controls. So, stay tuned for updates!

Thanks again for your feedback and support!

  ### 16. D4H works great for our recordkeeping.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike M. | Instructor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2025

**What do you like best about D4H?**

Categorization of inventory is helpful and the program is easy to use. Customer service is excellent. Support is fast and responsive.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

You must teach other users to actually use the program.

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

D4H is allowing us to keep records that are easy to turn into reports. This allows us to use our past history to better plan. The inventory management is extremely helpful.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> Thank you so much, Mike!

  ### 17. D4H Incident Management has been a major positive shift for our organisation (Local Government)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2020

**What do you like best about D4H?**

It's functionality fits our command centre operational routine - the tools are fit for purpose.

It's simplicity means very little down-time required to train our staff; and easy to keep pace with the demands of the emergency (we've used it in a minor flood event, a business continuity incident and for COVID-19).

Critically, it provides excellent situational awareness and common operating picture.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

There is nothing in the D4H Incident Management product that we dislike.

**Recommendations to others considering D4H:**

Buy it!

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clear situational awareness and common operating picture; and effective and efficient incident information recording.

> This is such a lovely review, thank you for recommending D4H so highly!

  ### 18. One of the Best Software to Streamline Emergency Response Operations with Real-Time Coordination

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2024

**What do you like best about D4H?**

What I like best about this software is, how it simplifies real-time coordination during emergencies. It has the ability to track incidents and monitor equipment in one place. Really helps in keeping everything organized and efficient. Also, we love its user-friendly interface as it makes it easy for everyone to stay connected.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

One thing that I dislike about D4H is that some of its advanced features still have a bit of learning curve. It takes time to fully grasp everything, especially for the new users who are not tech savy like me. Also the dependency on internet connectivity sometime becomes an issue, specially in remote areas.

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

D4H solves several problems by streamlining incident management, personnel tracking and equipment monitoring. It helps in keeping everything organized in 1 platform, thus helping in reducing miscommunication during emergencies. It also has the ability of tracking team qualification which ensures the right people are deployed for the right tasks. Overall it saves time and improves coordination, making operations smooter and more efficient.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> Thanks for your feedback! It's great to hear that D4H is helping to reduce miscommunication and improve coordination during emergencies.

  ### 19. D4H Implementation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2025

**What do you like best about D4H?**

Once integrated, D4H allows for "on-the-fly" usage at the times you need them most. GP helped to ensure that we had built out the product in a robust manner so that we can use it more efficiently later. The up-front work spent in implementing the product will pay dividends later to allow for ease of use.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

There were no modules that the Township found to be problematic.

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When we have incidents, we need to be able to have a "one stop shop" software to help us manage incidents.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> What an awesome review! Thank you for highlighting the ease of use and robustness of D4H for your emergency management!

  ### 20. D4H Game Changer for OEM!

The comprehensive features allow us to manage incidents effectively—from real-time situation reporting to detailed resource tracking. The ability to customize forms and workflows tailored to our specific needs has streamlined our processes significantly.

One of the standout features is the seamless integration with other tools we already use such as GIS layers. This has helped us centralize our operations and improve communication across teams. The mobile app is also useful enabling our responders to access critical information and report incidents on the go.

Moreover, the support from the D4H team has been exceptional. They are always ready to assist with any questions and provide training resources that have been incredibly helpful.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about D4H?**

As Director of Emergency Management and Preparedness for a healthcare system, I am pleased with the implementation of D4H, which has significantly enhanced not only our emergency management processes but also our daily operations. The platform has improved real-time incident management, allowing for better tracking, resource allocation, and communication during critical events.

Beyond emergencies, D4H will be used for regulatory surveys, daily operations, High Reliability Organization (HRO) safety huddles, and evaluations, making it a versatile tool across various departmental functionality used daily. Transitioning to D4H has streamlined our operations by replacing paper-based systems, improving compliance with internal and regulatory standards, and enabling more accurate reporting for audits. Team coordination will be strengthened as D4H centralizes communication and assigns tasks clearly, particularly within our Incident Management Team (IMT). Overall, D4H has been a valuable asset in optimizing the safety and efficiency of our organization.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

While D4H has brought numerous benefits to our healthcare system, there are a few areas that could be improved.

One of the challenges we've encountered is the initial learning curve, especially for staff who are less familiar with digital platforms, would be a more structured and ongoing training could help ease this transition.

Finally, although the platform integrates well with other systems, expanding its integration capabilities with more of our existing tools could further enhance its efficiency. These are areas where I hope to see future updates from D4H to better meet our evolving needs.

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

D4H solves key challenges by replacing our paper-based system with a real-time, digital platform, improving accuracy and accessibility during incidents. It enhances team coordination and task management, ensuring our team operates efficiently. D4H also automates documentation for regulatory compliance, saving time and reducing errors. Overall, D4H boosts preparedness, collaboration, and operational efficiency across the organization.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> This is a fantastic and detailed review! Thank you for sharing your experience with D4H. It's wonderful to hear how it's benefiting your healthcare system in both emergency management and daily operations. We're especially pleased that you've found D4H to be a versatile tool, streamlining processes and improving compliance. It sounds like you're really maximizing D4H's potential!

We appreciate your honest feedback regarding the learning curve and integration capabilities. We're continually working to enhance D4H, and your comments will definitely inform our ongoing development efforts. We're committed to making D4H even more intuitive and seamlessly integrated with the tools our users rely on.

  ### 22. Simply the best emergency management software on the market.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Safety | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2025

**What do you like best about D4H?**

I like the ability to create/edit the program based on the needs of the County are. Tie that to the simplistic use of the program for first responders is a game changer.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

One of the thinks is the mapping function, I wish there was a way to create sub folders on the map to be able to toggle off different layers within an over arching layer.

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simplistic approach to responding to emergency situations.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> Thank you so much for your kind words and for recognizing D4H as the best emergency management software on the market! Our customizable and user-friendly interface are key features we take pride in.

We're excited to let you know that we've recently introduced a Map Folder feature! With this update, when you import a map layer, you'll now see all associated sub-layers listed beneath it. You can toggle them individually or switch them all on or off at once, giving you much greater control and clarity when working with complex map data.

Thanks again for your review and for helping us continue to improve D4H for everyone in crisis and emergency response.

  ### 23. Excellent Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lyndsey D. | Search Planner and Trustee, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2024

**What do you like best about D4H?**

Ease of use. D4H holds a lot of information and the ease of accessibility to this is phenomenal. This has to be the easiest package I've ever worked with. Added to this, the Customer Support is very good with issues resolved within a very short time span. This is always a huge positive for me.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

People adding in Reminders for me to get tasks done !

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the event of a call-out, we can immediately see who's on call and get boots on the ground and assets in the air and water within a couple of hours - allowing for travel.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> Thank you for your fantastic feedback Lyndsey! We're glad you find D4H easy to use and that it helps streamline your response efforts. It's also great to hear our customer support has been a positive experience for you.

Hopefully those pesky task reminders are helping keep things on track!

  ### 24. No-Nonsense Information and Scheduling Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt C. | Operationrs Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2024

**What do you like best about D4H?**

-on the web page, the dashboard has a clean interface that is easy to read and navigate
-the red, yellow and green availability markers are simple and clear to read
-the notification system is linked to our email and phones, ensuring we don't miss critical emergency communication

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

-the app isn't the best. For example, the Dashboard on the app doesn't have half the information that the web page does. Being able to use the app more effectively in the field would be beneficial
-I'd like to see improvements made to the chat/SMS functionality. Currently, chat messages are created and delivered like emails. Something more nimble and agile like WhatsApp or Signal would be better in my opinion
-I don't dislike this per se, but i think you should be able to customize the app to send you push notifications when certain types of infomration are/is updated.

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's acting as a centralized platform for disseminating and updating information. In the world of emergency management, situations are always fluid, and it's good to have one place we all go to for information.
It's also a scheduling platform for trainings and events throughout the year.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> Thanks for the in-depth review, Matt! It's great that D4H is serving as your central hub for team information and scheduling.

You might've seen that we've just released a brand new Alerting product—this has massively improved the way you send email, SMS, voice, and WhatsApp communications from within D4H.

Your feedback on enhanced app functionality is really appreciated, if you have any other suggestions for improving how you use D4H in the field please don't hesitate to send them to help@d4h.com.

While the basic interface is very user friendly, the advanced features are a little difficult and additional training is required for the users to utilise the platform to its full capabilities.

**What do you like best about D4H?**

Being able to be connected all at the same time in a single place. This gives a lot of advantage when making quick decisions in a crisis situation.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

The lack of matching two different scenarios. For example, if a security scenario is opened with X number of people, and we escalate it to Emergency, we must open a second scenario and not "continue" with the initial scenario.

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

D4H is a useful and simple platform. The team responds to you quickly and always helps you resolve issues.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris B. | Training Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2022

Inventory tracking and event scheduleing are top-notch. The Incident Management module offered a highly customizable interface for managing field missions.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

The integration between the Personnel module and Incident Managemen seems a bit lacking. I would like if there was a way to see the credentials that are tracked in personnel on the Incident Management side.

Very stable and reliable product with great support. Offers a high level of customization. Definitely recommend.

D4H allowed us to properly establish and manage a full inventory of our equipment. We're saving significant time managing events and personnel credentials. ### 42. Solid incident management platform.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Enforcement | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2023

**What do you like best about D4H?**

We were looking for an easy to use incident management platform for our endusers. After reasearch various products, D4H met the requirements we set. We use D4H for planned and unplanned events, using it several times each week. It was very easy to set up in our office, and our endusers quickly picked up on the basic use by using the online training videos. The event details are compiled into the standard ICS docuementation forms, making it easy to integrate with other response agencies. So far, we have only had to contact support for one issue, and that was resolved very quickly, allowing us to continue the planning process with minimal delay. All around, a very solid product.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

I have yet to encounter any major downsides to the platform. That being said, I would like to see a little more functionality in map markups. The ability to change icon shapes in addition to currently changing icon color, and the ability to indicate direction when adding lines would be beneficial. Not really a dislike, but more of a suggested improvement.

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using the D4H platform allows us to have one central repository for our response planning. Our users can add information quickly and easily, and we can share that information with outside agencies in a standard format. The ability to view the information online allows responders to always have access to the most recent information, removing the concern of responders having outdated, printed information.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> Thank you for your detailed feedback! It's great to hear you've found D4H easy to use and implement. Thanks for your map markup suggestions too, I can confirm these are already on our future improvement plan also! If you'd like to drop us an email to help@d4h.com we can add +1 to the requests for you.

D4H is a great tool for scheduling and tracking attendance and details for training and SAR events. It's nice to see everything in one place that everyone can access without having to manually manage + share a bunch of spreadsheet documents.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

There are several frustrating user experience issues that seem like they would be obvious "must fix" bugs if the D4H team was using their own software regularly:

- [iOS Personnel App] Member search is broken, typing a name and tapping done does not filter the list below
- [iOS Personnel App] Tapping a member name requires an additional tap ("view member") to see member contact info – unnecessary
- [iOS Personnel App] Phone numbers on member contact pages display 8 digits with no formatting. Appears to be the last 8 digits of a 10 digit phone number, quite odd
- [iOS Personnel App] Tapping the oddly formatted phone number results in a "your call could not be completed as dialed" message from the phone carrier
- The way the charts and graphs are formatted are quite confusing – the filled line charts would be easier to understand as segmented bar charts.

Last, I would love the option to mark a training as "optional" – for some events I want to know what percentage of members attended, but I don't want to ding their participation percentage.

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to using D4H we tracked all of our attendance and event data in spreadsheets, which were complicated and prone to error / data loss. D4H allows us to have one database for all of our information, accessible by everyone, saving significant volunteer time and headache.

Hey Alyssa,

Thanks so much for providing this detailed feedback! I've gone back to the team and have the following updates for you:

- We'll have a fix for member search completed within the next month.
- The unnecessary additional tap on member is helpful feedback. Our engineers are going to have an internal discussion to review how they can improve the UX there.
- For the phone number formatting, this is a UX problem on our side that we'll fix. In the meantime, the phone number should work if you specify a country code.
- Regarding charts and graphs, thank you for the feedback. We're working on a complete overhaul of our reporting which will result in more customizable and user-friendly reports. We'd be keen to hear which charts you're referring to specifically if you wouldn't mind sending this info onto our Support Team [support@d4h.com].
- We've logged a request for the ability to make training optional.

Thanks again,

Amy

**What do you like best about D4H?**

The reports are really useful to be able to look back over attendance, track usage of kit, etc. it's also very adaptable and has allowed us to record essential data for our team across a number of different item.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

While it has a mobile friendly version it's not totally easy to use on a phone but that's a minor thing really and I doesn't really impact on its useability for data management

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to log attendance at our activity across a number of different activity types. It's also enabled us to have a central point for logging kit we've issued to members as well as personal data being secure and Gdpr compliant

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> Thank you for your review, Emily! Great to hear D4H has helped with your team's data management.

If you have any specific comments on usability in mobile apps please don't hesitate to send some more info over to support@d4h.com - our engineers are always keen to get this type of feedback.
