## Document Management System Reviews
  ### 1. Robust Document Management with Room for Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jaidee A. | Senior Industrial Process Engineer, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Document Management System?**

I’m most impressed by its reliable version history and granular role-based permissions. These features ensure we always use the latest manufacturing drawings and safety paperwork, while fully protecting proprietary engineering data in line with German industrial security requirements. The robust search function also lets our on-site engineers locate approved process documents in seconds, keeping on-site adjustments and daily operations running smoothly and safely.

**What do you dislike about Document Management System?**

It performs poorly when previewing large CAD files, with noticeable lag during loading. The auto-sorting feature often misclassifies our specialized engineering files. What impacts us most is the lack of native integration with our core manufacturing tools, which means we have to go through extra manual steps to move files across platforms.

**What problems is Document Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This system completely replaces messy physical paperwork and scattered local files across our workshops. It standardizes version management, drastically cuts down the time we spend hunting for documents, and keeps all audit and safety records fully compliant with local industry regulations. It also makes cross-team file sharing much simpler for our production and engineering teams.

  ### 2. A Lifesaver for Managing Legal Documents and Compliance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarthak C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Document Management System?**

I like the Document Management System for its version control, which eliminates document collision and allows for instant rollbacks, preventing conflicting edits. The granular access controls are also a great feature, like creating a digital vault, preventing internal leaks of information, and customizing user rights such as view and edit. These features reduce our time handling and maintaining documents and ensure regulatory compliance with strict access control requirements. Additionally, the installation was easy and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Document Management System?**

The things which can be improved are the steep learning curve for senior stakeholders, as the secretarial team is less tech-savvy so the board of directors has a constant struggle to adopt it. Also, there is notification fatigue as it tracks everything; the default notification settings are overwhelming.

**What problems is Document Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Document Management System for version control, solving our versioning issues and creating a single source of truth. It provides audit trails, granular access controls, and prevents document collision, making compliance management more efficient.

  ### 3. Transformed Our Document Handling with Centralized Control

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dhaval B. | Devops Intern, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Document Management System?**

I use the Document Management System to organize, store, and manage documents in a structured and secure way. It brings structure and control to document handling, providing centralized storage with a powerful search feature. I really value the version control system, as it eliminates confusion about the latest file versions. Access control and collaboration are also awesome features, allowing the right people to access the right documents. Overall, it greatly improves document organization, collaboration, and version control.

**What do you dislike about Document Management System?**

One challenge is search accuracy. Even though search exists, it doesn't always give relevant results unless documents are tagged properly. Additionally, there is an issue with the user interface in some systems, which can feel cluttered.

**What problems is Document Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Document Management System to organize and store documents securely. It solves issues with scattered documents and version control, enhancing organization, access, and collaboration. The centralized storage, powerful search, and access control streamline document handling.

  ### 4. Streamlined Our Document Management Seamlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roshan K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Document Management System?**

I find it super convenient, tbh! 😊 The Document Management System centralizes everything, making information retrieval a breeze. The version control is top-notch, ensuring everyone is on the same page, literally 🚀. Collaboration becomes way smoother. Centralization is a biggie for me - having all documents in one place means no more hunting across systems or worrying about outdated copies floating around, which reduces errors and saves time, making teamwork way more efficient. We integrate it with our project management and CRM tools, which is super helpful. It makes it easy to link documents to specific projects or client records. Google Workspace integration is pretty seamless too, so we can access documents straight from Drive. The transition from a mix of shared drives and email attachments was smooth, and the support team was pretty helpful. The initial setup was straightforward, the vendor guided us through it, and their support team was on point.

**What do you dislike about Document Management System?**

It'd be awesome if they could make the search function more robust, like adding more filters or something. And maybe some AI-powered suggestions for document categorization.

**What problems is Document Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Document Management System to find docs quickly, streamlining storage and sharing, preventing wasted time. It enhances compliance and security, centralizes info, reduces errors, and improves efficiency with version control.

  ### 5. Streamlines Document Workflows with Robust Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishnu T. | Production Planning and control , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Document Management System?**

I love how the Document Management System streamlines document retrieval, saving us tons of time searching for docs with metadata tagging and search. I can find anything in seconds, which boosts productivity big time. The collaboration features are awesome, allowing teams to work seamlessly on documents, get notifications on updates, and track changes, making projects way more efficient. The security and compliance aspect gives us peace of mind as documents are safely stored with access controls and audit trails. It's a big relief, especially for compliance needs.

**What do you dislike about Document Management System?**

The clunky UI and learning curve are a bit of a hurdle; new users take a few days to get comfortable. Heavy customization needs some coding when setting up specific workflows, which slows down rollout. There are integration gaps with non-SAP systems, requiring extra middleware or API work. Version control can be confusing when multiple users edit the same document, and permissions aren't perfectly set. The mobile app experience could improve, as the UI/UX on small screens isn't very intuitive and scrolling through metadata can be a hassle.

**What problems is Document Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Document Management System to organize and access files easily, collaborate with teams, streamline workflows, and ensure compliance. It boosts productivity with quick document retrieval, enhances team collaboration, and provides peace of mind with secure and compliant document storage.

  ### 6. Easy, Clear Document Collaboration and File Sharing Across Departments

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Document Management System?**

I like the Document Management System because it makes it easy to store and collaborate on different types of files for various operations. Different owners, such as departments, can share ideas and store documents while also drawing out essential tips for the specific projects they are working on. The flow of information stays clear from one area to another, without distorting the original source.

**What do you dislike about Document Management System?**

The only downside to using a document management system is the potential exposure of information that may not be fully secured from people casually browsing for information. However, this risk is minimal, since there are controls that can be put in place to combat this repercussion.

**What problems is Document Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main business problem addressed by using a document management system is operational efficiency. Departments can share information from a central location, which makes collaboration easier and, as a result, increases productivity.

  ### 7. Effortless Document Management, Needs Better Handling for Large Files

I like using the Document Management System because it makes storing and managing documents easy and quick to find. I appreciate how it eliminates the need for physical filing and storage. It's helpful to manage Excel files easily, including unloading and tracking versions. The system helps me manage and quickly find all reports in one place.

**What do you dislike about Document Management System?**

I find it challenging to locate large files efficiently. Additionally, there are difficulties with data entry, and it would be beneficial if there were options available to address incorrect entries.

**What problems is Document Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Document Management System to store and manage documents efficiently, eliminating physical filing and storage. It’s easy to find reports quickly, manage Excel files, unload and track versions. **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohammed S. | Human Resources Administrative Assistant, Food & Beverages, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Document Management System?**

All documents live in one structured location instead of scattered across drives, emails, and personal folders.
Powerful search (by keywords, tags, metadata, versions, etc.) makes finding documents almost instant.
Digitizing files eliminates physical storage, reduces errors, and speeds up processes.
You can control exactly who can view, edit, or share each document. This reduces risk and keeps sensitive data protected.

**What do you dislike about Document Management System?**

Uploading large files, previewing documents, generating thumbnails, or syncing with the cloud can be painfully slow on certain platforms.
