Based on recent G2 reviews that discuss pricing and value, many reviewers say Constant Contact is good value for money because it is easy to use and helps teams send campaigns quickly. Reviewers frequently mention templates and analytics as reasons the cost feels justified, especially when they save time on routine email work. Several reviewers highlight small businesses as the audience seeing the strongest value, and some users report nonprofits and simple outreach teams also find it cost-effective. A common theme across reviews is that the product feels less cost-effective for lighter needs or when only basic features are required. Many reviewers say pricing feels steep as usage grows, and earlier reviews suggest this same concern has been consistent over the past year.
Constant Contact does not offer a permanent free plan, but it does provide a free trial that lets users to test the product before committing to a paid plan. Trial availability and duration may vary, so users should review the seller's official pricing page for the most current details.
According to G2 data, Constant Contact pricing in 2026 starts at $12.00 and can reach $80.00 depending on the selected plan. Pricing may vary based on billing terms or usage, so users should review the Constant Contact's official pricing page for the most current details.
According to G2 reviews of Constant Contact, the pricing is best suited for small businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations that need reliable email marketing without deep technical expertise. G2 reviewers from small businesses under 50 employees dominate the review base and consistently praise Constant Contact's Lite and Standard tiers for newsletters, event promotions, and donor communications. Nonprofits frequently cite the affordable entry point and nonprofit discounts as key factors. The Standard plan appeals to growing organizations needing segmentation and automation, while the Premium tier suits mid-market teams running multi-channel campaigns. Enterprise users and sophisticated marketers often find Constant Contact's automation capabilities limiting compared to platforms like HubSpot or Klaviyo.
Constant Contact does not offer a permanent free version, but G2's pricing data for Constant Contact confirms a free trial is available for evaluation. The entry-level Lite plan starts at $12.00 per month and includes basic email marketing, a welcome automation, social marketing, and landing pages. Constant Contact's Standard plan at $35.00 per month adds A/B testing, segmentation, pre-built automations, and drill-down reporting. Constant Contact's Premium tier at $80.00 per month unlocks dynamic content, custom automation paths, advanced segmentation, SEO tools, and a dedicated Ad Manager. G2 reviewers frequently note that key features like resending to non-openers and advanced reporting require upgrading beyond the Lite tier.
G2 reviewers present a mixed but telling picture of Constant Contact's value. High ratings frequently coexist with cost complaints, suggesting it delivers on reliability and ease of use but at a premium price. Many G2 users across small businesses and nonprofits praise the drag-and-drop editor, deliverability, and customer support as justifying the cost. However, pricing that scales with contact list size is a recurring frustration, with some reviewers switching to Mailchimp or MailerLite for savings. G2 reviews of Constant Contact indicate it offers strong value for organizations that actively use its full feature set, but occasional senders or budget-constrained nonprofits often find the cost difficult to justify.

Hi Miriam! Thank you for the five stars!

I’ve used Constant Contact on and off over the years. The basic email builder and list management are fairly straightforward for a non-technical user, and it’s easy enough to import contacts and send simple newsletters. Whatever positives exist in the product, though, have been completely overshadowed by how the company handled us during a medical crisis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When my husband (the account holder) had a major medical emergency in early May and spent over a month in the ICU, Constant Contact’s handling of our account was appalling. Once I was able to get to his subscriptions, I contacted Billing, provided documentation of his hospitalization, and requested a refund for charges incurred while he was incapacitated and unable to manage online services. We were told in May that the request was “under review.”
Since then, we’ve followed up repeatedly — on September 8, September 24, October 7, October 27, and December 6. As of today, we still have no clear decision and no refund. The clear message is that they will keep charging a card even when a customer is in intensive care and cannot reasonably cancel. The lack of empathy, transparency, and follow-through from Billing and Support has completely destroyed any trust I had in this vendor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
