What I like most is how well it works with other ConnectWise tools. If you're already using something like ConnectWise Manage, this fits right in and keeps everything in sync. Turning tickets into projects or tasks is smooth, and it helps keep things organized across the team. What do you dislike about ConnectWise RMM?

The interface can be clunky, especially for newer users. It’s not always intuitive, and you might spend time just trying to figure out where things are. Also, the tax calculations are unreliable, so we have to double-check everything in a separate billing system. Some of the automation tools are helpful, but you’ll need to do quite a bit of tweaking to make them work the way you want—especially if your projects don’t follow a standard template. The onboarding and policy-based automation tools are powerful—especially when managing large fleets of endpoints. I also really appreciate the real-time alerts and customizable dashboards that give us full visibility into system health and performance at a glance.

Another major plus is how well it integrates with ConnectWise PSA and other tools in the suite. This tight integration allows for streamlined ticketing, documentation, and billing, which makes the entire workflow—from detection to resolution—much more efficient.

initial setup and configuration can be somewhat complex and time-consuming, especially for newer users or smaller teams without dedicated onboarding support.

Connectwise RMM is a great tool to manage all clients in one place and you can have policies set up to deploy and manage features on a client per client, or package basis.

There is a lot of flexibility in what you can do and can make the platform do for you.

Integrations with other tools are becoming a lot more widespread and it is now also offering vulnerability scanning and other features by default.

What do you like best about ConnectWise RMM?

Connectwise RMM gives us the ability to assist our customers as though we were right there in front of their computer. On top of that, the ability to automate various tasks and assign them as workflows in response to various tickets and monitors gives us the ability to resolve a number of problems before the client is even aware there was a problem.

Implementation took me less than 3 hours. The first 15 minutes were spent setting up my account, the remainder of the time was setting up my customers and installing the agent on their machines. My account manager reaches out regularly to ensure that everything is going well. It's truly a fantastic company to work with that cares about your success as an MSP.

We also purchased access to their SOC services using BitDefender Gravity. Integrating BitDefender into the RMM portal was simple and completed in less than 10 minutes. Now, all of my clients that subscribe to the SOC offering receive BitDefender on their computers within 30 minutes of the agent being installed.

I'm on this platform daily monitoring my users' computers and am happy with the features provided. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
